Thanks for viewing & comments, we meet every 3rd Saturday of the month at Fatty's Seafood in Slidell for 11 AM, all we talk about is fishing, hope to see you here one Saturday, we can hook up and make a trip.
Rudy working without a second mate. He needs a remote control cooler lid opener for Christmas 😂. I fished the train bridge in Lk. P. today and to my surprise the wind was howling like a lone wolf, 3’+ waves and water the color of coffee. None of that was in the forecast. Fished the tresses for about 1hr., Chased lunes for most of that time, tried the shoreline of Irish Bayou then Salt Bayou and other surrounding cuts. Our reward… zero. Still a great day with friend and grandson. Gonna check much more carefully before I do that again😖. You’ll did well for the conditions but I would expect that from you two masters of the sea. Hope to see you soon. Thanks for sharing the trip.
Lake P trestles still messed up from bad weather, Delacroix messed up from low tide, only place I would try now would be Bayou Bievenue deep water areas along rocks in MRGO and / or ICW Boh Bros.. Thanks for comments.
Thanks for the we, you caught the majority of fish caught, cleaned them and gave them to me, now that be a true fisherperson for sure. Thanks for late lunch too.
Stanley, Thanks for the feedback. I started fishing Delacroix in 1990. The areas I’m familiar with for Fall/Winter are: Oak River, Pointe Fienne, Skippy Lake, Bakers Bay, Oyster Bayou, Lake John, 4-Horse just to name a few.. I’m not familiar with Zone 5?

@@scottcuret9508 Above areas have been impacted by river water and have not been the same for 5-6 years, that is why we moved out to zone 5 water looks a lot better. Email us stanleyfink@charter.net and we can send some spot in zone5.

Nice trout. Good to see Delacroix is turning on. Bay Lafourche?
Delacroix should be on, on, on until mid-June, zone 5 should be the best place to fish and find the big girls in the future.
