Really an overlooked, underrated villain.
codster9 Agreed. I found The Ventriloquist and Scarface interesting from the moment I first read about them. I'm hoping they either appear in a future film or a future Arkham game.
+codster9 I've got a feeling this villain may be involved in the Gotham series. They've already included many of the villains in the last season so I don't see why not.
Yep! Although he kinda has the outlook of the type of Bad guy who I would imagine being in the 60’s show! However, some things are anything but as seen!
Erenated well he showed up but just for one episode
I likes him because u never know is rhendummy alive or is he controlling it with fucks with my head
Of all the odd and hardly used Batman criminals to appear in the animated series Scarface and the Ventriloquist were two(or one) of my favorites.
Odd concept but it has potential to be good unlike guys like Crazy Quilt.
rpandya97 shhhhhh.......we dont bring up the quilt guy....shhhhh
You can see the puppet in Penguins museum in Arkham City. It was quite creepy because his eyes moved and he danced if you press the button.
He was also in the first game Arkham Asylum. Joker was messing around with him before he fought Batman in the final battle.
He's also dressed as Joker in a cradle in City's DLC Harley Quinn's revenge
D.C. Stranded You also see Scarface in a glass case in Quincy Sharp's office in Arkham Asylum and in the 3rd Scarecrow fear gas hallucination Scarface is the asylum's head of security.
I wish they had a decent part in the Arkham games. They're cheesy but one of my favourites.
D.C. Stranded but that's not the original Scarface
What I love about Wesker is you look at the concept and think "that's got to be a product of the Adam West era" but no he's not and he's actually fucking terrifying.
Ian Warner multiple personality manifesting itself in the puppet as a dominant personality
R.I.P ✝️.
Joker: Why didn't you stop batman?
Scarface: Me? It was your plan you goofy clown!
Joker: Ahh! I'm sending you back to the ventriloquist where you belong!
Scarecrow: You do realize the puppet is alive, right, Joker?
Katrina Jacksonmiller FYI, that wasn’t the original Scarface; it was a Joker-knock off! Turns out that for god knows whatever reason, the clown took a real liking to these creepy things!
@@joehumpston7937 He's The Joker, of course he'd like the puppet.
It probably reminded him of Jeff Dunham and his star dummy Achmed.
H fees g CD i chef
@@joehumpston7937 i love how you speak in the Arkham game seiries
one of my favorite batman villains....very under used
+Sykopath BnG Agreed
I second that.
I like how they manage to keep it ambiguous as to whether the Ventriloquist is just insane or if Scarface actually has a mind of its own, there's evidence to support and disprove both.
It just sucks to be parents in the DC universe...
DC and Disney...killing parents off left and right.
In media in general like Marvel, Disney, anime, cartoons, etc.
It sucks worse to be their surviving children.
Marvel does it too.
VideoGollumer marvel is soft
I'll be back... I feel like watching Batman: The Animated Series all of a sudden...
Me too
I loved that ending where they showed Ventriloquist building a new Scarface at Arkham
《Yuu-Mon》 q
I am not exaggerating when I say Batman: The Animated Series is one of the greatest animated series ever to be created
U back?
God, that Puppet still scares me even after 10 years
It's like Johnny 2x4 and Plank if they decided to become criminals.
Mister Origin OH MY GOD! BEST COMMENT EVER!
Mister Origin dear god, now i can't unsee it
+Nucleo Negro
It's because he's freaking right. The Ventriloquist and Scarface are totally villain versions of Johnny 2x4 and Plank. xD
Johnny: PLANK!! NOOO!!!
Plank: Kill them.
Underrated Comment
Scarface needs his own full feature movie
Chu fuckin kiddin me mang
Headbanger9000
Lol
His own movie? No.
The main villain? Maybe, if done right.
Supporting villain? Most likely.
I kind of agreed
And get a Jim Henson Company puppeteer to operate him.
It will be nice if the ventriloquist and scarface to be the easter egg in "GOTHAM."
They MIGHT add him, but like the riddler and poison ivy, he's going to be a teen or a little kid.
No I think he will be middle aged with hair.
***** yeah
***** the riddler isnt a little kid in gotham
Cypher Ice I said teen but I was just giving an example if they ever use Scarface.
What is up with Batman enemies having the word face in their name Scarface, Twoface, Clayface
+Sarin Antilles Yeah maybe it resembles them being split between good and evil?
+Sarin Antilles Babyface
Normalface
Jean-Luc Picard batface
What if there was a batman villian called dhiareahface
3:38
"That it dummy! When I get my hands on yozzzzzahhh.😆😂
That part killed me every time.
Scarface was SOO scary in "THE Batman"! Does anybody remember that?
yup
"You calling me a dummy!? Do I look stupid to you!?"
Very.
Oh fuck yeah he was scary, scarface:"I'll make you eat that monocle"
I always believed that scarface was just part of wesker's mpd where wesker is pacifistic and timid, scarface is the personality that's strong willed, violent, and assertive. Having the puppet be magic would just ruin the ventriloquist's character.
Ventriloquist and Scarface are underrated villains and he was awesome in Batman TAS and he was intimidating when the Scarface voice is switched on .
Out Of All The Criminal Mob Bosses In Superhero Comics Scarface Is The Biggest Boss Of All Mob Bosses
DCEU needs to use this guy so underrated!
I actually have the first comic in wich he appeared for the first time I definitely recommend it
I think scarface is the manifestation of the ventriloquist to be more brave courage and confidence in what he desires wants too
if they ever brought this character combo to the big screen Giovanni Ribisi & Joe Pesci would be perfect for the roles.
Yes, my favorite Batman villian of all time next to the Joker.
I first saw this guy in the tv show The Batman I couldn't tell if this guy was controlling the dummy or if the dummy was controlling him no one ever gives that show the credit it deserves
I hope this kind of thing never happens to Jeff Dunham.
Who'd be the scary dummy? Achmed, Walter, Peanut or LJ?
@@damotoneko1500 i would guess Walter xD
This is my favorite Batman villain!
I call foul. How do you talk about Peyton Riley and NOT mention how she has NO VENTRILOQUISM EXPERIENCE whatsoever?? lol
Here’s my top five favorite Batman villains
5. The Great White Shark
4.Black Mask
3. Scarface
2. Scarecrow
1. Killer Croc
They were really creepy in 'Batman: The Animated Series' - loved those episodes!
im shocked a goofy character like this wasn't from the Silver age of comics, I could honestly picture in my head Adam West trading bad puns with a more silly version of this character
It would have been better left a mystery if they never confirmed insanity or magic.
I prefer it all being in Albert’s head. It’s lame if the dummy is haunted. Also the clips from The New Batman Adventures are labeled as The Animated Series. They aren’t the same show
The Ventriloquist is another darker version of Batman: Both have double personas, but Batman has restraint over both of them, whilst the Ventriloquist is completely consumed and dominated by the fictional one. He is what Batman could have become if he let one his fictional persona consume him.
The music in the background is my jam and is so groovy
I want to see them be the main villains of a future batman film.
One of my fave villains. Just wish see him in the dceu
He was never a high profile Batman villain but always thought he would make an interesting character to bring to a Batman movie.
I've always loved the DCAU version. This way, Wesker turns on Scarface like Vader turned on Sidious.
In the Batman Universe, the only super power is insanity.
Imagine Al Pacino voicing the character

Have you guys done an origins video on Jason Blood from DC comics? If not, from soon to far, when is it gonna come?
do firefly
I think Scarface would make a great addition to Gotham
Ass Mage me too, but who would you get to play him? And how would you make the villain credible?
Christian Ali they need a tubby nerdy bald guy guy with glasses, that shouldn't be to find. The hard part is trying to find someone like that who can voice him.
Christian Ali also I don't understand what you mean by making him "credible".
Ass Mage it's a great villain, but if not done right, he could come across as funny or a joke. You need to find somebody who could really scare people with the split between Scarface and the ventriloquist.
He's confirmed to show up soon in the series
One of my favourite Batman villains. Nolan should've used him.
Batman's rogue gallery has such unique characters. Scarface is a prime example.
Dilbert sure fell on some hard times.
Long story short: Scarface is just his alter ego. : /
I remember leaving a comment on there page about doing this one. I'm glad they did it!
Can you guys do Mongul's origin because I know nothing about him
Love how this was recommended to me
I would love for this role to be taken more seriously and used in a movie. Think of it. Some gangster is going around conquering all the old mobsters like some kingpin shit.
Top ten parody artists. Example, Weird Al Yankovick, Mel Brooks, Rucka Rucka Ali. All forms of media that can be parodied.

Aquaman.
Huntress.
Zatanna.
Bat-Mite(?).
Robin.
Nightwing.
Supervillain:
Poison Ivy.
Leader.
Bronze Tiger.
Catwoman.
Captain Boomerang.

Another curious one, perhaps one of my favorite ones.
Michael Stuhlbarg would make a great live-action Ventriloquist.
The background music had me thinking Billie Jean was gonna start Playing any minute.

how would someone like this fair in a live action?
More of this please. I enjoyed it a lot!
Scarface Was in Tonight Episode of Gotham I thought Scarface Was Great in this New Episode in my opinion Probably one of My Favorite Gotham Episodes 😁
Wesker?Batman x Redsident Evil confirmed.
Al Capone was called scarface
Yes, he was. Before he became a crime boss, he was 20 and working as a bouncer in a club. He made a rude comment about a woman seated at a table. Her brother heard that and slashed his face with a knife and that's how he became known as Scarface.
The dolls apeards in all Arkham games but not the ventriloquist.
ventriloquist should be in the next batman movie. i think tobey maguire should play him, as it could be a chance for tobey to show off his dark side and how well he can play a villain.
He could look similar to what he portrayed in Sin City.
+Steven Land sin city?...
+Steven Land that wasn't Tobey.
+Bruce Rodriguez yeah. I realized it afterwards. It's Woods.
You took my request.
THAT IS AWESOME. I am so glad you did it.
Would you like to do Swarm ?
Pleeeease.
Scarface scared me to death as a kid O_o
The animated series of Batman still retained some macabre elements.
It's a shame Gotham killed off their Ventriloquist, he looked like he out of the comics.
I'm hoping this guy (or these guys) have a bigger role in the next Arkham game.
Scarface really needs to have a MUCH longer run in Gotham :(
Who watching after gotham episode 8 season 5
Jamal Adams Mr penn was amazing.
This is Awesome.
A. Wesker, you say? Not exactly one of Lord Spencer's greatest projects, is he?
(Please tell me someone else gets the joke)
“so it is true”
“true? About what?”
“YOU WORKING WITH WESKER”
Rose's are red
Violets are blue
I'm here because of "Gotham"
and so are you ;)
Uhh not me
Not me too
Now I know about mister Wesker and mister scarface origins can't wait to see more hero's and villain's origins.
It's a multiple personality thing
Can u do comics appearances and unknown stories of him he's an amazing character
The Ventriloquist scared me when I was younger when watching Batman TAS. Reason is because of all the villains in comics The Ventriloquist killer is someone that could possibly exist in real life
This is a actually a pretty interesting character as far as comic books go. I like how how you don't really know what's what with him.
@1:38 "Gotham's Blackgate Prison had once housed gallows where 313 men were hung for their crimes."
*HANGED
Could he be considered to have Multiple Personality Disorder? and i'm not sure if it's really a thing but, Power Object Fixation? and he might have a little bit submissive personality. Then again I know nothing about this.
Later in the video it is said that the puppet was a conduit for emotions. The puppet was projecting emotions the owners had but never showed. For example: You (Not literally you) as a person know not to break the law but desire to do something unlawful. The puppet will then take that feeling and become a character based around it.
Nyghtking i think in the animated series they said he had MPD.
Kind of like how Mr. Garrison was with Mr. Hat. The dummy wasn't alive but the person controlling the puppet was acting out a fantasy side of themselves they'd never act out in life.
I remember in The Batman, Dr. Strange took scarface and gave Wesler a more docile looking puppet. Then just for kicks he gave scarface back just to see if Wesler's criminal personality would resurface, or which one was more dominant.
Midsomnyx What was the result o.o?
Mr. Garrison and Mr. Hat anyone? Lol
can you do a top 10 happy batman endings? like with the Ventriloquist (batman animated series) and harley quinn (batman beyond moive)
The new Ventriloquist looks absolutely terrifying.
We are both ventriloquists ventriloquists ventriloquists. We are both ventriloquists and we practice every day!
to bad he never appeared in the arkam series. he would be an excellent villian even in a side mission
Well, this takes creepy dolls up a notch
I wonder; did the series creators draw inspiration from psychological thrillers that centered around ventriloquists when concocting this deadly duo?
Why is the comments section on your videos always pure shit? It's either people saying first or the same people as top comment! Or people complaining about video quality or running out of ideas! NEVER ANY COMMENTS ABOUT THE FLIPPING VIDEO! Also great video!
Love this character! !
An intersting character ^^. A different kind of two split personality from Harvey Dent and we got him Arnold Wesker 😁.
I still dunno if scarface is real or not... I always get confused
did anyone ever see Anthony Hoppkins in Magic? that could have been a prequel for this guy
Such a underrated villain or should I say villains
Now this is quite a character spotlight that pretty much brings a few 2 cents...............................and voices to the whole spotlight scene, huh?
Scarface is a good rival to Chucky. Hope somebody will do a one on one battle.
"When the muscle starts thinkin' it's the brains, it's time to amputate."
The Ventriloquist and Scarface appeared in the final season of Gotham and were great in it, I wish they had a two episode or four episode arc in that show and I also wish they were in the Arkham series, we did get Scarface, but no Ventriloquist?? seriously, a side mission of them in Arkham City or Origins would've been nice, but oh well.
Out of all the villains, this one scared me the most. Mostly because of the doll, ( I have a fear of puppets and dolls)
Scarface the dummy from Gotham and slappy the dummy from goosebumps
In regards to the woman who took over as the Ventriloquist for Scarface... was she able to pull off Scarface's voice? Or did Scarface's voice sound more like a boy instead of a man because of it? Questions that demand answers.
