Dodge Avenger Air Vent Door Actuator Replacement

The notorious clicking vent door on a Dodge Avenger - it will happen to us all at some point. This video isn’t a 100% walkthrough, but I did want to cover answers to some questions I had going into this repair since the part replacement is relatively simple.

rockauto is much cheaper but i like the access this gives you compared to taking out the glovebox

The actuator on the left is for ?and the on the right is for? The one under the driver is for?

I know this video is old but I'm hoping to get a comment back I have a 2011 Dodge Caliber and the defrost isn't working and whenever I have that on defrost a heat is coming out from the feet is it the actuator that you're showing or the blend door actuator or the Mode door actuator

I hear there’s two actuators underneath the glove box so how do you know which one is clicking?

Just unplug one and turn the ignition on if it clicks it’s the one that’s plugged in still if not it’s the one you unplugged.

Mine is a heating issue. Its non dual heating but for some reason the passenger side vents dont blow hot air, will this solve that issue?

No, it has nothing to do with the battery at all. Mine goes out often their made so cheap.

aymnot warm air when you have the climate control off? When the air should be cold? Just looking for more info.
