Thanks for the reaction. This song lyriclly gets to me. About innocence of Childhood, losing it as we gain adult responsibilities and now as a parent to a son he gets to experience this once again. Escaping the past by embracing the future. If you want something from their new album I recommend Elephants Never Forget for more Quirky Haken. Sempiternal Beings for some crazy Time Signature shenanigans.

Love me some Haken, you should check some of their newer material, their latest album is among their best. Also, the strongest of recommendations to a band named Parius, very much in the same vein of progressive metal as Haken, "The acid lakes of Ganymede" is a good showcase of them.

I found this EP the year it was released, and quickly realized I had happen upon something special. And since, I've just been more and more impressed by each new album.
I'd strongly recommend checking out "Nightingale" from their newest album. If there are songs that are 10/10, Nightingale most definitely is!
