Dude this was so, so well done. It shows SO much potential and offers a peek into their future material before it was even written! The transitions are seamless and the soundscape vibrant. Old Haken has this... quality... to it that is unmistakable and outright amazing.

I highly suggest and request "Messiah Complex" By HAKEN - it is in 5 or 6 parts or sections so you'd need to find a version that has all the sections together - it is one of the most technically impressive and prog rock complex amazing HAKEN songs ever!

That your Dad died with you so young really hit me. Mine died in 2015. I was 59, but it guts you, whatever your age. On a brighter note, I have been drumming since 1979, and gravitated towards heavier progressive bands like Yes, ELP, Gentle Giant, PFM, Genesis, etc. But what started the drumming interest was a group called James Gang, Live at Carnegie Hall. Jim Fox is a drummer worth checking out! He brings a rolling swing to the groove, with tom punctuations between the downbeats.

Thank you for watching my friend I really appreciate it. I am so sorry about your dad. Even all these years later, I still miss him dearly. I honestly felt like I was visited by his spirit recently. It was a very strange but comforting experience. It gets easier, but never over. I'm glad drumming has opened my eyes and heart to the spiritual world.
@@L33Reacts I am an Athiest, and struggled with whom to turn to for help, became a raging alcoholic (which got Dad), and finally turned to a hypnotist. That, for me, was the turning point.

And can you freakin' believe that they did both Crystallized AND visions in their "evening with Haken" tour? I caught them for the 3rd time in Atlanta -- all since first discovering them in Spring 2022!
