  • Hi everyone! 👋🏻 welcome to the channel, this is Marcus your Asian Tennis Boy
    I’m a full-time musician and part-time tennis aficionado
    Background:
I learnt the basics of tennis when I was 10, but didn’t start playing more until October 2021 thanks to the Rovo app which I used to find games; I started playing tennis once a month, once a fortnight, once a week, and as of July 2022 I was playing at least 4-5 times a week.
    Objectives:
My current level is a solid 3.5 to 4.0 and my goal is to work towards 4.5 by 2025

    💭 TAKEAWAYS
    What went well
    1) Retrieving and Perseverance
There were many points where I shouldn’t have won them, but because I gave one extra ball back, it challenged my opponent to play one more extra shot and that drew out errors. Patryk had a bad day in the office especially on his 2nd serve so that gave me some free points and put pressure on him while I remained focused on my goal of trying to retrieve as much as I could.
    What to work on
    1) Technique and Fundamentals
In such a match up playing with someone of a higher level, my technical deficiencies are made even more obvious. If I’m able to improve on the follow through of my groundstrokes and adapt proper footwork, I would probably be able to capitalise on my chances instead of waiting for my opponent to make a mistake.

Luwanski has very good fundamentals. Plays well for a young person. Able to generate good power for his physique. Confident forehands and backhands. Nice fluid serves. Will reach a very decent level of tennis. 💪

Hello there 👋🏻 where are you from?
I would think that they are faster because of the heat actually, but it depends from court to court, depending on the vendor who makes them and how well it is maintained

Impressive commentary on the video. Not sure if my observation is right, Patryk tends to lose focus and intensity at times and gifted many free points. Good job for hanging in there, just a difference of few points and you could have won more games.

Thanks my friend, your observation is spot on I was only winning points by his errors that day 😅

The kid lacks foot speed and that will be a problem

    • @AsianTennisBoy

What do you mean by foot speed - speed in terms of getting to balls or like small lateral movements?

    • @ElSupremo5
      @ElSupremo5 6 місяців тому +1

Yes speed in court movement. He’s young and that could change but speed is under appreciated and is required to reach the highest level for the men
