Great match - how did you not melt whilst playing in a long sleeve? 😂
Iam a lifty tennis player and my favourite tennis player is rafa Nadan. 💣🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩💪
Nice!! Enjoy his last season on the tour 🙌🏻
Is it easy to book an indoor court there? Or book night lessons? I'm thinking of staying in KL for a couple of months and I want to play tennis but I'm afraid of the hot weather.
I think court bookings are largely fuss free but typically get busy during peak hours! You can head over to the website I linked in the description to check on court availability and book courts Weather wise it is a tropical climate so definitely about 30 degrees with high humidity, and I usually wear an inner long sleeve shirt if I'm playing in the sun
Your serve really improved with the coaching 🎉🎉
thank you so much! still working on it 🙌🏻
Eugene’s groundstrokes are on point in term of technique imo. Ball’s launch angle is high and dip real fast at the end. If he is at his best i think he deserves 5.0. Can you please share info about his racquet’s specs and whether he customize or not. Thanks a bunch
Eugene conveys his heartfelt thanks! He is using the third-generation Babolat Pure Strike 98 16x19 www.tenniswarehouse-europe.com/learning_center/racquet_reviews/PS1619review.html
Beautiful courts. Enjoy your travels
Ikr! Thank you Don 🙏🏻
Power la bro. Happy to see your progress. Looking forward to have match again
For sure man can't wait!
Great video as always - my wife is from Chengdu so will definitely check out some of these courts next time I'm there!
oh wow nice! tell me which courts you decide to visit!
NUS?
yep!
Brandon BH is pretty good. Where is this courts?
his BH is solid! and this is at Hume Park
Good video mate, keep it up
Much appreciated mate! Hope you find it helpful
🥱

Hi im currently using yonex RD8 a very old model for years already with a 16x19 string pattern and 320 grams (strung). And i want to update it to percept. I am torn between 97d and 97h. I want 97h since it has the same string pattern to my rd8 but im worried that it might be too heavy for me. And as for the 97d the weight is ideal but its string pattern is 18x20. Will that make a big difference from my current rd8 racket if i switch. Your suggestions would greatly help.
Hi my friend sorry for the late reply! I think it might be helpful for you to try the Percept 97 - it has a strung weight of about 326g and a lower swingweight of 315g, with a 16x19 string pattern which is what you're familiar with. Might be good to test it out and demo the racket before buying if you have the chance. Hope this helps!
Brandon makes even Tiafoe blush.
he'd be happy to hear that!!
Nice solid hitting =)
thanks bro!
Wow - what a first point. Some great hitting here from both of you!
after the 1st point I knew I had to dig deep! thanks a lot man
Great video! Looking forward to the next leg of your tour!
thanks man! got a few more backlog, am on a mission to clear them!
Here is why you lost so badly. 1. Way too many errors 2. Short balls perfect for punishing 3. Lazy footwork and lack of speed
100% man! Working on these and stay tuned to more improvement hopefully
Whats the name of the shoes? Nike
this is the Nike Court React Vapor NXT!
Why is he so fat?
Ummm your first fh was not amazing it was very average and you don’t how you got his lob back you had all day to just walk back and go hit it back you try so hard with your with commentary saying the shots are greater than they actually are
thanks for your comments man, definitely aware of all the deficiencies and things I need to work on! come back to visit the channel in about a year if you're interested and hopefully I have better highlights by then 🙌🏻
Lol that is 3.5 usta forehand at best that is nowhere near monstrous 😂
I guess I'm not at that level such that that would feel threatening to me 😅
Wheres this court at in Singapore?
this is at Choa Chu Kang Stadium
9:14 muscle memory kicked in
"Filipino Federer" is a huge insult to Federer
ikr, those two words should not be together.
His style is not even close to RF.... only thing could be his attire, that too is kinda vague. Not hating, just spitting facts as I see.
No worries! At least to me at my level he hits the forehand aggressively and has a mean slice backhand so I feel like he got inspiration from Federer, but I understand your point too!
You should really improve your backhand or should I say have a new backhand as it seems like you don’t have a backhand and you compensate by making such high loopy slices which allows anyone to attack you so easily and even the forehand side isn’t dangerous at all. I would say you guys are USTA 3.0 at best.
thanks a lot for your feedback and suggestions! will definitely work on it, and also thank you for sharing about the level/standard as well
Only noobs assume levels based on how they look on video. I bet you would have said MEP is a 3.0 based off his videos as well
@@MrRovoLova Why not we put our money here our mouth is and challenge to a tennis match and we’ll see who the ‘noob’ is. Obviously you cannot tell what a good tennis player is no wonder you are trying to protect his so called rating or 3.5. Let’s have a match for a wager and you can really see who the noob is LOL
@@jojojo78930 why not you stfu and go watch MEP play and tell me if he’s a 4.5 player
@@jojojo78930 I guess there's only 1 way to settle this - on the court!
That backhand gets u into sm trouble, no top spin, no depth and easy short balls. Slice lacks depth and lowness too. But forehand has improved so keep at it
thank you for the feedback! am working on these, follow the journey to see my development!
Upload quicker bro. I enjoy your short feeds.
thanks brother! trying my best haha
What happened to ur topspin BH bro
missing in action against Michael's superior forehands haha
who is the 3.5/4.0 guys? I only see a 2.5 and a 3.0 at most playing
I put this grading based off the videos I've seen on UA-cam as there is no official rating system here in Singapore! Would you have any examples to share of 2.5/3.0 or 3.5/4.0 by your standards?
@@AsianTennisBoydoesn't make sense why you would put ratings in if you are not rated. Or at least put self rated. Agreed with the comment above.
@@SY-it7xs sure I'll put that as a note in my next videos! But I'm indeed interested to know what the level differences are so if you have some insight pls do share!
@@AsianTennisBoy ua-cam.com/video/7pQkStDMPxg/v-deo.htmlsi=sk5waBkeUVdm4BGH
@@SY-it7xsIt makes sense as people have an idea of the quality of tennis that they are about to witness
Why do you look at your watch every now and then? Is it a habit or checking out something from swingvision app? Goodluck with your tennis journey
Why do you only go for winners and he only hits it straight back to you?
It was the start of the match and I was trying to be aggressive (probably too much) and I guess I pressured my opponent to hit a defensive shot which landed right in my strike zone
tbh question kind of shows how much you don’t know about tennis. No one goes for winner every shot it’s just not reality.
Court looks good. Is this in Singapore?
This is in Guangzhou!
Hi. Have you tried Alpha yet? Thoughts comparing to M8?
Hey there I've not tried the Alpha!
I thought singapore is supposed to be very clean why is the court so dirty
There's 14 courts here some are older and some are newer or more well maintained, we happened to pick the one that is a bit older. Halfway through we shifted to another court and that one was cleaner!
Many faults by your opponent as his right foot crosses over the centre line when serving from the advantage (left) side
I realised!
Your opponent’s foot faulting is scary😅. He basically cannot serve without foot faulting….. 😢
Yea I realised when watching back!
Where is this
this is in Guangzhou!
😂😂😂
😅
Dont lean back. Step in , transfer weight forward instead
Yes!!! Trying to do that
The way your opponent walked straight into no mans land tells that he doesnt know anything about positioning😅
Oops 😅 I guess he should've recovered back to the middle
'Promo sm'
Bro, if you spend time perfect proper footwork, you will be 100% better
I'm working on it!!
You dont struggle against lefties, you’re just bad lol
Awww man the truth hurts! Working hard to get better 💪🏻
I’ve seen 5 year olds hit the ball harder and better. Yoy guys are trash lol
Luwanski has very good fundamentals. Plays well for a young person. Able to generate good power for his physique. Confident forehands and backhands. Nice fluid serves. Will reach a very decent level of tennis. 💪
Yes, in the past few months since playing him for the first time he has improved so much! I have 2 more videos I've not uploaded yet, he has become much more clinical now
Dude, you are using the wrong grip and swing path for your bh slice. Your BH slice cant penetrate like that. Let me help you next week 😅
This is something I need help with - looking forward! 🙏🏻
M, i hv seen quite many of your videos by now and you do hv the knack for tennis. Your serve mechanics is pretty ok and if you tidy that up a bit with more stability and racket head speed, you would be able to take out many more rec players.
Thanks a lot Yang! Trying to go up to the next level for sure 🙌🏻
O: That was very good. 🎉
Thanks mate!
