In this video you said “cool side” when setting the daytime temperature? Was that correct or is it actually setting the temp for the hot spot?

Can also be used for the hot side. This is what I am using it for for a leopard gecko.

So is this a "dimmer' or does it just shut the light on and off? Thanks!

It has dimmer and ramping options. You can set it to increase or decrease the temps over varying amounts of time, say and hour.

@@marnimacyhamilton670 Thanks for the reply! I ended up with the exo-terra adjustable dimmer. The another tank has a repti zoo cheaper one and to be honest it works better than the more expensive exo??
