Thank you young man. You explain things perfectly.
I just want to say thank you for posting this. All the other videos i watched on Bifen were useless to me until i found your video.
I've been using it all over everything in my house except food and food containers for years including my bed and furniture. Once dry, my two dogs and I haven't had any kind of bad reaction to it and neither has anyone of my guests who have slept or sat on my treated furniture or bed.. This stuff is fantastic! I also spray the roof soffit around my house and haven't had any wasp nest for three or four years.
Just bought this and it really does work. Great video!
This is dope thanks for explaining stuff. First time home owner here.
Thanks for the info. Ordering a gallon today. I’ll eventually pick up the backpack sprayer!
Great vlog bro loved it!!
From Houston
Man love this product!
Good info man, thank you.
Nice tip on spraying inside or around first I sprayed my porch first last night woke up to 2 dead roaches inside the house .
Super, thanks. I needed this info.
Glad it helped! Please subscribe it helps grow the channel!
Good video. I just started DIY spraying my yard this year, so I've done a lot of internet "research." From what I've learned, the spraying can be more effective and longer-lasting if you use an IGR (insect growth regulator) with the Bifen. The IGR is supposed to prevent the reproduction cycles of bugs for several weeks -- kind of like a 1-2 punch combination!
I’ve heard this also. Thanks for wstching
I bought my 16oz. I point. At Our ACE HARDWARE IN HOUSTON ON UVALDE ST. IT COST ME $25.00. So now I. Going to learn how to use it in a sprayer. Thanks so much
appreciate you bro.... moving to Texas from the north lol ... making sure im READY READY!!!! LMAO
Absolutely! I fired my pest control cuz I can do this myself for much less $!!
I use the same stuff, except I put the equal amount of Tekko Pro. Tekko acts like a residual and makes it a great combo with the Bifen.
God Bless you man and thank Bruh bruh!!!
Frank
Ur welcome thanks for watching and I’m glad it helps
I love Bifen I/T. I've been using it for years and it takes out everything out here in the desert (southeastern NM and West Texas). For us out here, use the Bifen I/T and not the Bifen XPS. The XPS is the oil based, more concentrated version but doesn't work on the same pests for some reason (weird, I know). Anyone looking for a great insecticide for ants to wasps and anything in between, definitely get Bifen I/T!! Thanks @Hood Saint Fishing for the awesome video! God Bless!
Thank you brother! God bless
I have been using the XTS for two years now haven't had a problem with kill rate. The I/T is a bit cheaper I'm going to try it next time I buy some.
Bifen should sponsor your vlogs. I just bought the product for the first time and sprayed the outside of the house.
Just subscribed good video!
Great video... I've been using bifen it for a year now and I wanted to see if others use it to... Good video 👌
I personally work in pest control and you can feel free to cycle between chemicals every 6 months to a year or so. Bugs can build a resistance to the same treatment so you can cycle between this and any chem of your choice
Watched 3 different vids using this
Bifin IT ,,you're THE 1ST that Has suggested doing inside the house 1st.
And the reason why... THANKS..
Glad it helped you! Hit the subscribe button for me! Helps the channel and I’m trying to grow this thing 💪🏽
From what I've read you should just use a weaker concentration inside like half and ounce per gallon for inside.
Thanks for sharing bro! 🤜🏽🤛🏽
Thanks for watching bro. Hit that sub for me
@@Hoodsaintfishing we need a follow up on the mosquito video!
Appreciate you bro I’m buying this today
Great stuff.
Less expensive.
Always use gloves and wash exposed skin.
Also excellent customer service, answers any and questions you may have also lots of the products they provide videos
We bought a house on 1.25 acres with a good 1/3 uncleared. After clearing the underbrush we were bombarded with mosquitoes. I waged all out war on them and through research I used Bifen I/T with an IGR and I intermittently fog with Cutter just for peace of mind. Mosquitoes are rarely a problem.
Put 5 gallon buckets around your property about half full of water and put 1/4 mosquito dunk in each one, it kills the larval they lay and will knock down your infestation by 90%. Its freaking cheap and totally awesome, you have to redo them about once a month give or take. This works much better the anything else i have tried and I've tried everything. I use the Bifan It too because they still come from the woods so you have to hit them every now and then with that also.
@@jstar1000 we also did that when we first moved in. I had to break my lawn guy from thinking he was doing me a favor by dumping them out. I’ve been successful this year on keeping them at bay.
That's great news cuz I'm in a similar boat!! Can't wait for it to come
Thanks I truly appreciate this video I’m having trouble with bees 🐝 those this bien I t work on bees
I just picked up the $99 Ryobi fogger comes w 2ah battery. Going to give it a try with bifen it here in Florida..
Nice! Haven’t seen those
How's the ryobi fogger ?
@@alwaysinsearch I returned the fogger, just didn't seem worth it
Bifen I/T is generic of Talstar professional. I highly recommend. I do work in pest control industry. Label is the law
What about syngenta demand cs?
Thank you for your wonderful video birds are nesting on my brand new roof can I spray my roof would it hurt the shingles I live in Florida by the way if it makes a difference thank you if you know let me know
Literally they are both professional grade and sold for the same price both are better than say Ortho beacuse that sits pre mixed in a warehouse and then a Walmart for weeks/months on end settles out and loses potency. But to say either bifen it or Talstar is better than the other would be wrong and neither are generic both are professional products. In my opinion at least things like Ortho are generic and for the diy person just looking to kill their spiders bifen it or Talstar allow for different mix rates and the added benefit of being tank mixed so you can add a synergist and a growth regulator for optimal performance. Just my opinion tho tech to tech. But ya they are both 7.9 percent bifenthrin concentrate the names are all just branding it's just fmc or control solutions.
Is this safe to stay inside after spraying it all over the home immediately?
Hey please what do I do to spray inside my home for fleas on carpet!!!
This video was such a blessing, thank you for explaining it perfectly. Would you recommend using the Ryobi mister?
Sorry for the late response. I’ve never used the mister so I wouldn’t be able to recommend it but ryobi tools are pretty good
@@Hoodsaintfishing thanks
You might be applying way more than what’s needed. 1 ounce per gallon if you are try to get it into the soil or certain insects like beetles. Most require 1/4 (.25) up to 1/2 (.5 oz) per 1000 square feet. The amount is lower when mixed to use inside a resident. The manual is a little long but it’s all covered in there. I use 5oz to cover 10,000 sqft (.5 oz per 1000). I alternate this and the hose end Cutter insecticide so the bugs won’t build up an immunity to them
Thanks for the info!
Thanks
The one gallon has a built-in measuring device.
I'm so glad I live in a state that restricts use of these pesticides to licensed professionals only. But since I won't be able to stop people from using I guess I will give tips.
1) please wear pants, and long sleeves when using this. It is toxic. If you ever have a minor cut and this get into that cut it will not be pretty. Getting out on just skin can cause a reaction. This is a carcinagine.
2) wear eye protection this is toxic and if the chemical or fumes get in your eyes it will not be pretty
3) wear a respirator a n95 at least this stuff is toxic
4) don't spray around fish or any type of water supply. It is highly toxic to aquatic life
5) it is a generic of talstar and will push insects in. You should use something like mikron on the inside. Especially since this stuff will stain over time. Mikron doesn't stain and you can do an inside and outside on the same day. Ps. You shouldn't use a backpack sprayer on the inside.
6) if you're only using it on your house then a gallon is too much of the pure concentrate because it has a shelf life. Buy smaller bottle of this and a small bottle of mikron. This will do fine and save you money. Don't mix more then what is on the label. Mikron's shelf life is much longer plus you can use mikron on the exterior as well.
I'm not trying to bash or troll but as a licensed professional I want you and your family to be safe.
Can I guess your state? CA? Or WA? LOL some liberal S(*& HOLE
You have to use a mix of chemicals so the insects don't grow resistant to the main componenet in Bifen. There's 1 called Mavrick, safe for Honey Bees.
Where can you get it? And how much do I put in a 4 Gallon mix
Killing honey bees is illegal. Call a bee catcher. There is a shortage of honey cause you and ppl like you keep killing them.
No. just rotate bifin and permethrin
@@ericgardner5548 lol your funny guy. Look I mix bifen, deltamethrin and lambda cyhalothrin and that's just pyrethroids you forget about neonicitinoids the active is great and all but you need to switch to a different group of pesticides all together sense they act on different parts of the nervous system or you can use metabolic inhibitors which act on a whole different system of the insect. I'm just saying you can't just use different pyrethroids you need to use different types of insecticide all together to avoid resistance.
@@jsb7546 How often do you switch between chemicals?
Hey, I bought bifen i/t and cutter.... I have a deck in backyard... do you recommend spraying deck down too for mosquito control or only grass areas and bushes/ shrubs? Also do you recommend mixing cutter with the bifen in my chemical sprayer or only use bifen alone in the sprayer at its recommended dose?
Thankyou
I’d just use the bifen and if the bugs are bad you can put a little more than the recommended. I’d use the Cutter if I had to during the 90 days (but you shouldn’t have to) and yes I’d spray the deck too
I spray everything
Putting on cloth glove's to handle chemical's is worse than no glove's at all. They keep it next to your skin longer.
This is why u should call someone u need to follow the label
Thank you!
Why not the carpet next to the baseboard?
It depends on what you are using and treating for some pesticide can't be used to treat a whole space but only as a crack and crevice treatment some can't be used on furniture some can ect. Read your label and understand what your treating for if it's bed bugs you'll need something that can be used on mattress and furniture seams but if your treating for fleas you'll need something labeled to be used on your carpet and you whole carpet not just a crack and crevices spray but when I do a crack and crevice spray I do get the carpet next to the baseboards but don't go out further than I'd say as wide as the baseboards are on the carpet so usually that's like half a foot up the wall on to cover the baseboard and half a foot out on the carpet next to baseboard. Most labels will allow you to treat the ground next to the baseboards as insects will travel through it kinda like a highway beacuse a lot of insects rely more on their sense of touch so they stay next to the baseboards while waking around beacuse their antennae can touch the baseboards and use it as a way to feel around the edge of your home.
can i spray this stuff on inside floors and walls-ceilings if i have small dogs? can i spray it on furniture? sorry if dumb questions but i just moved into a house right next to woods (my backyard touches the woods)for the 1st time from my condo so complete newb to all of this- and there are tiny ants everywhere as well as all different spiders and some weird long and flexible things with about 20legs(up to an inch long). so after watching your video i thought i would try it inside and then outside like you said but dont want to kill myself or dogs
This particular one is meant for baseboards and yards, not the floors and furniture.
Also the 1 inch guys are probably house centipedes. Harmless, and are night hunters that eat bugs. So they are good guys, even if they look creepy. 😃
Great video man! Thank you! I'm wondering if this is just the same stuff as the ortho premix spray that you can buy at home Depot? What do you think? I use the ortho spray once a month, but I think this method would definitely save me money. Any advice is appreciated.
Not the same
@@Hoodsaintfishing
Thanks! Can you elaborate? How are they different?
@@tortelvis1 Orthos is much weaker.
@@tortelvis1 from what i read ortho & the other brands u find at hd are weaker cuz they are already premixed and dilluted becuz they sit in the bottle & on the shelves for a long time

Question for indoor use: when it dries on the baseboards, does it leave a residue, mark or hurt the paint?
No it does not
@@Hoodsaintfishing Thanks!!
@@mjemis1 would love to leave a residue mark on you😅
Have you ever tried On Slaught? I'd be curious to know how Bifen compares to it.
Never tried it but I’m gonna look into it now
From what I've read Onslaught is microencapsulated so it lasts longer than Bifen. I've never sprayed pesticides but have been doing a ton of research.... I'll be starting with Bifen I/T, maybe occasionally mixing in Nyguard and depending how that works I might move up to Onslaught or Cyzmic CS. And domyown.com is less expensive than Amazon.
@@jameshubisz Thanks for that link. Great prices!
Onslaught is good for spiders and scorpions mainly.
On slaught is two pyrethroids and a synergist which stops enzymes in the insects bodies from breaking down the pesticide so honestly it works better than bifen but is a more expensive product. You could just do what I do and buy piperonal butoxide which is the synergist and then a few pyrethroids and just mix them around to get the same result. I use deltamethrin, bifen and lamdba cyhalothrin as my pyrethroids but beta cypermethrin is good too just make sure to mix your actives around also I use neonicitinoids too so I switch between two types of pesticides and in those two types I switch between three active ingredients so for neonics I use dinotefuron, clothiandin and imidiacloprid. Happy bug killing yall don't get these things resistant or my job gets harder ya you can buy what I use but use it properly and don't screw me over or yourselves or the environment in the process.
When was the last time you saw a bug in your house 🤔
would it be good to rotate different kinds so the insects don’t build up an immunity over time ?
I’ve heard that is good to do yes
Does this work for fungus gnats
When sprayed in the yard, how long before dogs can be on grass?? Tia
As soon as it’s dried up.
Can u spray this on cushions of outdoor furniture?
I don’t think so
Is this safe to be around after spraying it all over the home immediately? Or should I leave for a couple of hours? Its just me, my husband and my dog.
I didn’t leave but I didn’t let the dog out until it dried
Does Bifen I T kill spiders? And flying ants and termites? How long does it continue to kill after you spray it? Six months? 12 months? Thank you so much
Yes, Bifen IT is labeled for spiders. The mixing ratio is 1 fl oz per gallon of water. Be sure to spray the areas where spiders are present so that they will come in contact with the treated area, such as around windows, doors, etc. This can be done every 30 days as needed indoors and outdoors.
@@Hoodsaintfishing What question that I asked also was how long will it last? It seems to me like you’re saying it’s only 30 days. I’ve had success with ortho and that last for up to 12 months. Now that’s indoors not outdoors because I haven’t used it outdoors. Great video
@@TDMayday I spray it once a year
@@TDMayday termites need to be treated a completely different way than how other insect are like in this video it's more general pest spiders and such termites need to be treat by treating the soil around your home and possibly the whole wooden structure depending on how bad it is termites I honestly recommend a professional treat for. Also bifen is what's in Ortho and trust me that'll never have a 12 month residual maybe 6 months max on the inside of your house if your house was a laboratory in the perfect conditions which it's not so really your looking at 3 months usually on the inside and about a month on the outside.
Termites require a whole different treatment process. Bifen I/T is a generic all-purpose barrier control, spraying outdoor foundations, lawns, perimeter walls, riprap, things of that nature. You want a termiticide for termites, something that's rated for years of control. I'm pretty sure you can't just buy this stuff though, you'd need a PC license.
can i mix the bifen, growth regulator in a black flag lowes fogger? or pump sprayer for mosquitoes
Not sure. I don’t see why not as long as you don’t mix it with other chemicals
Can anyone explain how this insecticide becomes safe after drying? How’s that possible? Thanks.
When it's wet it's more likely to absorb into the pores in your skin and thus into your blood stream. Once it dries it absorbs into the material you sprayed it and is dry so is less likely to get into your pores and then your bloodstream. But either way pyrethroids like bifen it are safe even when wet if you mix properly as the mix rates are rated for insects 100 times smaller than you. Now over time chronic exposure will still lead to things like cancer but it's not likely to happen to you unless you are using these chemicals all the time which if you do your own pest control regularly or your in the industry than ya that's a possibility. Be safe wear proper PPE and you'll lessen your exposure but you'll never completely eliminate it.
I came on here just to see baseboards sprayed 😢
Does it work on roaches???
Can you use it in a fogger
I don’t think so
I put mine in in a regular spray bottle. Did I just fail
🤣 no, whatever it takes to get the job done 💪🏽
Everything in my house is against a baseboard, do you not have that problem?
You pull it out, spray the base boards, let it dry, move the stuff back. It's 1 time each 3 months. Better than getting bugs.
Does it leave any white residue and stain on walls or wood?
No sir
Thanks man! Should I spray on basement ceilings if I have those jumping spider-like crickets? Not sure what to use for basement ceilings ;) Awesome vid bro!
Also, there are several kinds of Bifen. Which one should I get? Thanks!

Hi, I sprayed my yard and house all over with bifen.... I sprayed the patio light right outside my door..... so far so good with mosquitos and keeping bugs out, but tonight, 6 days after spraying (no rain for 48 hours after I sprayed) when I was out at night with patio light on, the flies were BAD right at the light... swarming the light.... I sprayed the light and surrounding part of the house by the light... this was the 1st time since I sprayed that I went outside with patio light on..... will the flies that kept hitting the light eventually die off from the residual of the bifen it (7.9%) or is bifen just not effective for flies that are attracted to the light?
They will die most likely but new ones will most likely keep coming around. They sell bulbs that don’t attract insects. Try those
I’ve noticed flying insects are a whole nother ball game. I’m assuming this works best for things that crawl or come into direct contact with the bifen.
Are you sure those weren't moths loool!
Can I do this with a digger machine?
Not sure what you mean?
This stuff completely removes fire ants. Spray your entire yard making sure to hit fire ant mounds. No more fire ants
Can you use this in a fogger?
Yes. It’s actually better with a fogger
bifen works good but youve got to reapply constantly
does that depend on the potency? I'm curious because he wrote on another persons comment to only spray it once a year
@@carterpierre2527 unfortunately potency does not matter for re-application rates. Maybe if you were using it as a perimeter barrier treatment inside of your home or something then a few times a year would probably be okay but if you are trying to ward off midges and other outside pest you’ve got to apply Bifen like twice a week. It works absolutely fantastic for killing bugs and I definitely recommend everyone use it.

Oh, and instead of the pump sprayer, upgrade to the M12 Milwaukee sprayer! You’re going to thank me!
Can I use this for cockroaches German? And what would you use if not
I wouldn’t. I would use Boric Acid. But the good kind you would find at a feed store
Is spraying the baseboards of carpeted room the same as spaying the carpet? Since it will run down the baseboards ?
No. I sprayed my baseboards and nothing happened. I would not recommend spraying the carpet or entire room
Thank you !
I've sprayed my entire house inside, furniture and bed/blankets, walls from top to bottom for the past three or four years. Once it's dry, it's been safe for me and my two dogs plus friends who sometimes crash on the couch that's been sprayed, sometimes twice a year..
It's been especially great for spraying under house before you have to crawl under it to work.
@@Laionrogue83 ya I don't recommend you spray it where you'll be in contact with it for long periods of time I only personally treat the seams of mattresses and furniture and only when dealing with bed bugs and when I spray the whole floor it's for fleas and I tell them to vacuum regularly and when the infestation has been killed I tell them to shampoo the carpet so the residue is cleaned up yes this stuff is relatively safe but prolonged exposure is bad and will lead to things like cancer thats why when we use dust it's never out in the open because unlike spray which can dry and absorb into the material you spray dust just stays dust and gets into the air and then into your lungs. So Idk just be careful definitely don't spray your bed sheets or blankets there is no need really.
Is it safe to use on vegetable gardens?
No please don't use synthetic pesticides on your garden only on your house.
Sucks NY regulates all the good bug killing products. cant find any place online to order from they all reject my order.
Wow didn’t know that

You have organic build up in your drains clean them with invade bio foam as well as spraying the bifen. If you don't clean the drains with something rated to get rid of organic build up the drain flys will continue to reproduce in it. I also use a igr as well in fact there is igr foam you can use in your drains as well as igr you can mix with bifen all that and you should get em good with all that. Just make sure after treatment that you regularly clean your drains to prevent build up in the first place.
