Bifen I/T is a 7.9% Bifenthrin suspended concentrate insecticide. This product is a synthetic pyrethroid that works by interfering with the insect’s nervous system.
Bifen I/T controls many different species of insects, but we typically recommend it primarily for indoor and outdoor use to control fleas, cockroaches, spider, mosquitoes, and even wood destroying insects like carpenter ants and termites.
You can mix Bifen I/T at a rate of .12 to 2 ounces per gallon of water depending on level of infestation and targeted pest.
Bifen I/T is typically used as an outdoor broadcast spray. But it can also be used as a barrier spray around structures, including around windows, around doors, along eaves, and any other entry points such as weep holes and where electrical and plumbing penetrate the wall. Bifen can even be used for termite treatments. It can also be used indoors as a crack, crevice, and baseboard spray.

I love this product. I only applied just a few it a few days ago, but I already see the effects. The insects that plagued my front porch have seemingly completely disappeared. I’ll see how long it lasts for sure, as my house is located in a pretty woodsy area under shaded trees. Praying 🙏 this is a permanent solution.

Excellent product. I picked it up 3 years ago in my local Houston store, not only did it remain active in 3 years, which it lasted, it solved the problems of roaches, spiders, ants and recently fence lizards. I have saved money and also kept insect-free house for 3 years. Price is kind of on the high but it's worth the investment and actually cheaper in the long term if you follow the instructions. I highly recommend this product.

I have a severe Millipede infestation. Have treated with an Ortho product and it does kill them within 24 hours, however they have already entered the garage and infiltrated the upstairs living space before they finally die. I live in a heavy wooded area and have removed the heavy oak leaves from around the foundaton of the house. What product will create a suitable barrier when sprayed outside the foundation and openings so they die outside the house and not inside.

Can this product be used in a ryobi electric fogger.
Hi, I sprayed my yard and house all over with bifen.... I sprayed the patio light right outside my door..... so far so good with mosquitos and keeping bugs out, but tonight, 6 days after spraying (no rain for 48 hours after I sprayed) when I was out at night with patio light on, the flies were BAD right at the light... swarming the light.... I sprayed the light and surrounding part of the house by the light... this was the 1st time since I sprayed that I went outside with patio light on..... will the flies that kept hitting the light eventually die off from the residual of the bifen it (7.9%) or is bifen just not effective for flies that are attracted to the light?

Hey Keith. we have had infestation of Roaches not sure if the new folks across the street from moving in 3 months ago is the problem but anyway we were in our local farm supply store and they had a Brand called Farm General 7.9 Bifenthrin but looking @ the Booklet that I cant find out how much of a Rate I should use to our half-gallon sprayer and help would be much appreciated

Does this work on pantry moths and weevils? Weevils is our latest hell we’re dealing with. We’re going to do our own home bombing. For years we’ve used Home Defense for ant control on our parameter, but this year it just hasn’t worked with the ants they have acted so out of character, so it would be nice to know if this product works for all of the above mentioned critters while also for maintenance once we’re done bombing the house this weekend. We have termites and have a very narrow small crawl space. Can we use this for the crawl space? I already trenched the perimeter of the house with taurus sc and are using termidor foam for the crevices inside the house/basement. I'm just trying to cover all my bases. The damage is bad and wanna control it before fixing the house

Ana Rodriguez I just read your comment and wanted to tell you yes it’s safe in your crawl space, Bifen has a product that does give off a bit of an odor, but it’s stronger, and kills almost immediately called Bifen XTS. I am not endorsed by this company and gain nothing by sharing this, my brother turned me onto it a week ago and the results we’ve gotten have been phenomenal. Best of luck. FYI, I use the Bifen IT inside, and the Bifen XTS outside.

Hey, I bought bifen i/t and cutter.... I have a deck in backyard... do you recommend spraying deck down too for mosquito control or only grass areas and bushes/ shrubs? Also do you recommend mixing cutter with the bifen in my chemical sprayer or only use bifen alone in the sprayer at its recommended dose?

We do NOT recommend using this on ANY vegetables or fruit for human consumption.

There are some DIY UA-cam videos in which Talstar (Bifen) is used in one of these devices. Is this the wrong way to apply this product? It seems the aerosilization would be unsafe, even with a respirator. If Bifen I/T should not be used in one of these backpack foggers, which products do you recommend be used in them for mosquito control?

This is not a violation, it is because it will dilute the product too much and make it ineffective.
Well what if I didn't watch this video first and used it all around the house like I was supposed to but then f'edup and sprayed it all over my carpet. on the scale of 1 to 10 how screwed am I?
We would recommend leaving the treated area until the product has completely dried. The product can be harmful if inhaled. Be sure to completely air out the room by opening windows and turning on fans. Visit us on our website for more information.
How do you use this with a hose in sprayer? I added 2oz in the hose end sprayer, I wasn’t sure what dial setting to use? Never used a hose end sprayer before.
When you add the product into the sprayer the water will flow through mix the chemical and spray out. You will get roughly 2,000 sq ft. with this mix ratio.
