I emailed Dr. McDougall last year to wish him a happy birthday, and thanked him for the positive impact he's had on my life. He replied back, "Helping others is the greatest gift in life."

I was just speaking about Dr. McDougall's wonderful work this past Saturday and didn't know that he'd left us. Sad news, but it's good to know that he went peacefully and that he was indeed VERY WELL LOVED by SO MANY of us. He facilitated healing in people all around the world! What a wonderful legacy! He will always be one of my most beloved humanitarians. Rest well, precious Earth Angel/Lightworker/Healer. XOX!

John had a great and rich life with a great family and friends, even if he as a young adult suffered some injuries. He was able to turn things around and prolonged his life a lot due to healthy foods. It’s not how many years you live, it’s the life quality and health during the years that you get that is the only thing that counts. Here John is a winner. Living another 10 or 20 years with poor health is not an option.

It's sad that a cardiologist doesn't see that by getting positive results from patients who adhere to a healthy diet, would find that more people would hear about the success and come to him for treatment. And the joy that the cardiologist would feel in curing people would be a great reward. Let's face it, with the amount of sick people out there, he's not gunna go broke even if he cures 5 a day. I guess many physicians and medicos have a great fear of the push back from their profession. You really do have to toe the corporate line (or is it "tow the corporate lie"?...same thing, i guess) to avoid ostracisation.

Healthy people don't suddenly die in their sleep. I think it was heart related 🤔. Dr McDougall clearly had Sarcopenia..his weight / muscle loss was clear to see ... RIP 🙏

@@robibotnutube Dr McDougall clearly had Sarcopenia and was clearly frail and weak, yet he was eating the perfect diet for humans 🙄

@@robibotnutube That is beyond my experience. For both my parents, they died in their sleep after praying to leave. Great question. C&B

Dr. McDougall’s death impacted me very hard. I felt that he should have left longer and like other Listeners, I started also wondering about his cause of death. I wondered if a starch-based diet is adequate. It is somewhat acid forming which result in a loss of muscle, Quite possibly including the heart muscle. Only fruits, vegetables, legumes and pasta can balance the acid load from what I’ve read recently. However he advised no more than two servings of fruit a day, one green or yellow vegetable and I don’t remember him placing any emphasis on the others. This could explain why he became so frail the last decade of his life and his death. I now prefer Dr. Gregor’s Approach to diet which emphasizes a balance of plans foods
