Unreal!!! Saw this video two nights ago and did not think it applied to my scenario.... 2018 Subaru Outback, Eyesight, RAB, Check engine and a few other lights.... fiddled around with Eyesight related fixes (and youtube videos) I put the innova sensor on it and erased the codes and the dashboard cleared. ...temporarily... Driving home from work yesterday, my wife finds dash lighting up again. Then last night when i' m driving, BRAKE, xroad, and more indicators light up.... LIKE A CHRISTMAS TREE All the while, of course, vehicle is running fine. This morning, before calling my mechanic, I went back online and once again encountered this video. Absolutely brilliant!!! Sir, you give us hope. Goodness, quality and decency on the internet is rare. Thank you Kyle!
You are an honest person. May God bless you. My son's 2019 Crosstrek experienced this issue. All lights came on for no reason. Took it to the dealership and they said there was gunk in the engine. They did an engine flush. Didn't work. They said bad sensors. I told them to stop. I knew there would be no end to their scam. My son already paid them $800. I watched your video and it was a 5 minute fix!!! You are a man of integrity. ❤❤
I went to West Houston Subaru in Katy, Texas for oil change , after few hours so many lights came on. I knew they did something to the car so I can go back for rip off, soon I get there! Service advisor told me it's P26A5 CODE for thermo control valve. They want to charge me money and leave the car full day. I knew something was fishy. They do to cars , so you keep going back . Went on You tube and saw you as first video. Took 10 mm as you mentioned followed the 2 minutes instruction, closed the hood and problem solved. These Service dealership are running out of ideas and now scamming people . And plus I had extended warranty. Thank you so much God bless your family
You have done an excellent job in saving us from a trip to the dealer for a repair we accomplished easily with your guidance. Our Subaru is a a 2015 Outback which had just been through a substantial overhaul by a dealer and this dash light problem started surfacing a week or so after we got the car back. Your fix worked wonders and your instructional methodology was first class! Thanks again for your guidance!
Thank you very much, Kyle. My wife can home from work stuck in heavy traffic and told me check engine light and all dash lights came on her 2018 Crosstrek. I checked the manual and gas cap to no avail. Found your video and said what the heck, gave it a shot. Like magic, worked like a charm. Will keep an eye on battery as it is the original. Charged it with trickle charger an it fully charged in 15 minutes 👍. Thanks again, much appreciated...
Unbelievable! Throughout the entire process, I was thinking, “this isn’t going to fix my problem.” Worked like a charm, THANK YOU! I had already booked an appointment with a shop, now I can cancel.
Holy Huckleberry! We bought a new Crosstrek a year ago. It has 8000 miles. The eyesight stopped working and the check engine light went on, too. Called the dealer and was advised that the car was safe to drive and make an appointment for service. So, the appointment was a week away. Watched your video and followed instructions. YOUR SERVICE TIP SOLVED THE PROBLEM Thank you. Will it return? Maybe. But at least we know what to do next time, first. Again, many thanks. Cody.
Amazing! I got the same runaround from Subaru when I called to inquire about it and was told it was gonna be $1000 in sensor replacement and that I shouldn’t drive the car! I knew immediately that this could not be the case as I had just installed a new battery, and I suspected that, but was curious to see what Subaru was gonna say. What a scam! And fix took less than 3 minutes!! So appreciate you and this video
THIS WORKED!!!!! Driving my daughter's 2022 Crosstrek and the dash lit up like a Christmas tree with a "Eyesight Off" warning. Checked out Kyle's simple fix, knowing that "This will never work. It's too simple." Well it did. Thank you Kyle for this tip. It probably saved our daughter hundreds at the dealership.👍
I had the same issue with my 2017 Outback. Full dash lit up for days. It didn't affect the driving but I dreaded calling Subaru about the fix. I was new to this area and I had never been to the dealer an hour away. I decided to check out UA-cam since it has helped me before and I found this video. I followed your instructions and behold, a perfect running car and dash lights back to normal. Thank you so much for the info.
This is why I love UA-cam, Thank you!! I just noticed that this video is 2 years old.. so I wanted to say that this just worked on my 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness
Fantastic advice. Fixed my wife’s Subaru Outback in less than 15 minutes. Would have been faster if I could have found 10 mm socket wrench quicker. Many thanks!!
I have 2020 Subaru Forester and I have been experiencing the same issue since last week. I went to Subaru dealer and they told me that I have to pay $180 just to run the diagnose to find the issue. I found your video, and I impressed. I am going to try this method and update you soon. Thank you so much.
I just returned from a test drive with 2021 Outback, after following your easy instructions. I'm delighted but holding my breath. This morning, I followed another UA-cam video which instructed me to only remove the negative terminal, then hold the horn down for 30 seconds and turn on the lights. It did work for the a drive to my grocery store. When I returned the lights all came on. I was having the same problem as everyone else but also my temperature gauge was not moving from the cold position. And after my first attempt above, the temp gauge was not working but the warning lights went away..... But your method did it all. All dash indicator lights...gone, and temp gauge functioning properly. Thank you so much!! I would buy you a 12 pack if you live in N Wisconsin!!!
So amazing, this totally worked for our 2020 Subaru Forester! Before we saw your video, we got an oil change just in case, but the lights were still frustratingly on after. Looked to UA-cam, found your video, and our problem was officially solved! Thank you so much! This is the most useful and practical video I've ever found. Thumbs up!
Just ran your recommendation just now in 0 degrees F in wintery North Dakota. It worked on our 19 Outback!! My husband is delighted!! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
My man !!!!!! I’m crying 😭 to see all my lights on exactly like yours !!! And I did what you taught on here and the problem is fixed 😅😅😅 so much love for your video , may God bless you from head to toe !!!🎉
Just wanted to say that thank you so much for this video! I got in my car yesterday after being out with a friend and when I got in everything lit up like a Christmas tree! I have a 2019 Forester and it just got looked at last week. And I shouldn't have any other problems. So I freaked out a little bit getting in the car wondering if it was okay to drive. Got home, found this video and then had a friend come over and help do this. And now all the lights are back to normal. Thank you! It saved me an expensive trip to the dealership!
Thanks for the vid. Replaced the battery in my wife's 2020 Ascent and when I connected the terminals the lights came on and the radio started blaring. When this happened, it scared the crap out of me, and I jumped. Went to start it and nothing happened, so I went to UA-cam and to your video and you saved the day. Thank you very much for the video.
wow!!! I hit subscribed because you are a life saver. Just drove down all day from Salt Lake City to Mesquite, half expecting I would be stuck somewhere between hell and nowhere. My check engine, EYESITE, AND SEVERAL other lights literally illuminated the dash panel. I got here physically and mentally worn out from the stress of not knowing if my '21 Forester would go another mile, leave alone get me to the St. George Subaru. It's Easter Sunday, I tried to send a message to a person saying his last name was the same as the dealer. He would not tell me what was wrong, or how to fix it, and gave me the sales jazz "have a good day". I stressed again for the last 4 hours, scheduled a service appointment for Friday back in Sandy, UT, could NOT feel good about the trip home Wednesday. I tried to relax, and I got the feeling to check UA-cam. Your video needs to be posted on page one of the Subaru Owner's Manual. Everybody, go to your Lowes/Home Depot, buy a cheap crescent wrench and tiny flashlight and keep that in back where the tire is stored. I had the light, and what used to be a useless 10-way plier/knife/multitool, and here at 10:45 pm in the hotel parking lot was able to do the "BOLINE MANUVER". I am so thrilled right now--took less than 5 minutes, and I am FREE TO GO tomorrow. Thank you so much.
I see this video was THREE years ago - but the info is still super valuable. Had replaced the battery in my 2017 Outback Premium and days later it lit up like a Christmas tree. The car still drove as amazingly as always, so I went looking for a fix. Came across this vid and followed your instructions. My baby is just perfect once more. I am in LOVE with this car so you have a fan for sure from Mobile, AL!
That’s brilliant. I Subbed just for reading all the comments here. Great job. My brother has a Subaru Forester and his Christmas lights are on. I hope I can help him get rid of lights. Regardless of the outcome, this is the life saver for us . I will come back for update. 👍
You're the fucking man. My wifes Subaru has the same problem and she was freaking out that something electronically had failed. So she saw your video, I watched as well, then went to the 2021 Subaru outback sport and tried your method from this video......MAN you're a life saver, It WORKED PERFECTLY MY MAN...thank you so much Sir
Kyle, you're a blessing to me. Thanks! It worked like a charm. Woke up this morning and found the 2020 Subaru Forester showing the check engine light and the EyeSight system not working. While the battery was disconnected I cleaned the terminals and brushed on a small amount of dielectric grease. As you mentioned the battery may be going weak. It has been four years since I purchased the vehicle. In the meantime, I will charge the battery and replace it before the winter. Thank you again.
Last night (2/Oct/2024) the dash on my Subaru Forester "lit up like a Christmas tree 🙂" After consulting Professor Google I came across this video from Kyle Boline following his directions problem was solved. A big thank you Kyle, your advice is still helping people 3 years on 😀
Thank you my Man. This happened with my 2017 Legacy and following your instructions I had it fixed in under 10 minutes. The hardest part was remembering where the hood release was located. You saved me a trip across town to the dealership and some $$$.
Hey man, thank you very much you helped me fix it. My wife left a light on so it dried the battery, after jump start it got on but all error lights were on. Saw your video, followed same steps and fixed it. Thank you again you saved me some money. Subaru forester 2020 hybrid, if anyone has the same issue follow the steps in the video. P.s. was a little scared I wont get hit by electricity when I was about to touch + and - cables together with bare hands but all good 😂😂
Thank you so much for this wonderful video!! I had left a door open for too long. So, the battery went out. I jumped it, and it was fine. And the next day, it was dead again. I jumped it again, and drove around for over an hour. When I was getting back, all the lights went on, and the car sputtered a little. My battery is about 2 years old. I followed your directions, and everything is back to normal!! Thank you so much!
You just saved me from a lot of headache. I almost started down the volt regulator rabbit hole. New battery this month. Didn’t see all the dash lights come on until today. Did the reset and so far so good.
Thank you my friend! Tried your recommendation and it worked! You’ve just saved me a couple of hundred dollars for the Subaru Diagnosis at the dealership! 🙏🙏🙏
This worked for me, thank you! Started having this issue with the Eye Sight turned off and check engine light on exactly 4 years to the day buying my 2019 forester
Fixed my daughter’s 2019 Subaru with dashboard all lighted up after looking at this video. A big THANK YOU! I also found neg battery connection extremely corroded which I thoroughly cleaned. Again, thank you for video, saved a trip (and $$) to Subaru dealer
saved my wallet and fixed my headach along with my 21 Ascent. day 1, check engine at oil temp abs uphill assist lane change collision, all on. day 2 all but at oil temp. day 3, check engine abs on. did this and it reset it all. thank you SO much!
I just fixed my Subaru forester 2020, engine light eyesight light was on, the dealer called me yesterday to bring the car there, I went to the dealer this morning, they asked for $250, for diagnosis, I left with no doubt. Then I went to the mechanical shop, they said it takes 5 hours to take off the engine to replace the sensor, advise me to go back to the dealer, then I went home and open this video again, fixed it within 5 minutes. All the light off, and I tried the car, the lane departure was back on, eyesight was back on. Thanks so much saving me so much money and time. ❤❤❤
After I drove one time, I restarted the engine again, and the lights are back on, omg. Is Subaru controlling our car ? I tried again, it’s went off, after I restarted again, the lights went back on😂😂😂
Kyle, you are a life saver! Because the display included "Eye Sight", I thought that system was the one at fault. But when you said other lights were on at the same time, which was the case with me, I realized it was not just the Eyesight. So I took your advise and it was fixed. Thanks a lot. You probably saved me a costly trip to the local Subaru dealer!!! A like and a Subscription is "in the mail".
My guess is Subaru disables the eyesight when the car is in fault to kind of force people to the dealership. People will drive around for months with a check engine light on.
OMG! I never comment on UA-cam videos, but I had to do it this time. Kyle, you just saved me a ton of money, and several days of no car, waiting for a garage appointment. unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU VERY MUCH, you saved my life. i just bought the subaru forester 2017 yesterday, i only drive like 20 miles or maybe less, at the middle of the way, eyesight, lane departure, engine check and other lights turns on, i am so worry, I spend a lot of my saving to buy this car and all problem lights on. i look up youtube and lucky i found this video, i fixed the problem within 5 minutes, THANK YOU again!
This happened on my 2019 Forester on a shopping trip. Got home and found your video. I followed your instructions and the problem was solved. Thank you so much.
My 2018 Subaru forester check engine, ABS, hill assistant, eye sight lights up yesterday and [S] light flashing. I thought it'll casue my arms and legs. You saved me. It fixed my car in 10 minutes.
OMG! This safe me. My Subaru outback recently towed and all the lights are going off when I get it, I was worried if they damaged anything but thanks to this videos I'm relieved now. Thank you 🙏
I sold my 2014 subaru xv crosstrek to my sister and it started doing this, I really hope it fixes the problem. Thanks and I hope more people come across your video because sadly there is a ton of subaru owners going tru this problem.👍👍👍
OMG, If you were here I would hug you! Traveling with my husband and many lights went on. We live in NC and are on our way to Fort Myers FL. Called a dealership and it is Monday and they wanted to give us an apt. on Wednesday. Talk them into tomorrow then got to our hotel and started to UA-cam to see what I could find. One video had awful comments that were scary, expensive and no two answers were alike. Then I came across your video. Earlier when we got in our car it said 91 degrees and when you mentioned the battery being drained it made sense. So off to Walmart to get a wrench, we followed your instructions and the lights went off! Thank you, thank you, thank you. xo
Right on!!! Glad I could help, I have a buddy who just moved to NC, sounds like the golf courses are nice there. I may swing through to play a round in the future! Have a great time traveling in your Subaru!
It's far past 91 degrees here in lower Alabamw MOST of the time. I pray to all that's holy I won't be doing this trick constantly- but at least it's easy! 🎉😊
@@hemiguthrie1752 It worked for us, There are also people on UA-cam that tell you how to get the diagnostic code for what is wrong (if you have a regular key and not a key fob). Almost everything is on UA-cam.
I have a Legacy from 2004. It suddenly stalled and when trying to start it all electricity goes out. Turn the key and it goes out in a few seconds even without trying to crank it. Checked the battery connection for oxide, checked the charging status and all was ok. Tried this strange tip without believing in it but it worked! Still can't belive it but thanks a million!
Just bought my use 2015 forester xt 2 weeks ago and the check engine and hill climb lights came on. Awesome video tip and definitely help me get rid of those lights.
2014 Subaru Forester with all alerts displaying. The car even shutdown at one point due to all the alerts (presumably because if certain alerts were actually true, this would be a defense against engine damage) Upon inspection the positive battery terminal was HEAVILY corroded. This in spite of recent dealer service which included a battery inspection that was given ✅ After cleaning battery terminals with a wire brush post/cable brush, alert displays disappeared at startup just like they’re supposed to. Very helpful video. Much better than towing car in for $$$ service!
Great tip Kyle. I was literally scared to drive my 2021 Subaru Forester last night when I saw the check engine lit on, the Eyesight was off, many others lit on the dashboard. So I saw your video just a minute ago and I did follow your advise and it fixed the issue. Thank you so very much , this is worth sharing with others. God bless your ministry to help people. Can you make more tips on other car issues.
You were truly God sent to me during a very stressful time. My wife being rushed to the hospital and getting brain scans I finally left the hospital to go home and get some sleep and when the valet driver brought me my 2019 Subaru I got in the the instrument panel lit up like a Christmas tree. What else can go wrong??? It’s a weekend so running to the dealership was out of the question. We just had it serviced a two weeks ago before for a 1600 mile road trip . I was really leaning towards it being a software/ computer glitch since it started up and drove and braked fine. So like I always do I UA-camd it and your video came up. You were spot on . I can’t thank you enough for putting this out and I was blessed to have found it. One less stressful thing crossed off my mind. Thank you 🙏🙏
Spot on with this advice for my 2017 Forester. It took me five minutes. You will probably need reset date and time. I scheduled an appointment with my dealer and who knows what they would have charged. This is what I originally had: Suddenly my 2017 Forester warning lights came on: CHECK ENGINE (checked fuel cap), Eye Sight, Vehicle Dynamic Control Operation and Hill Assist lights, and RAB all came on. THANKS AGAIN FOR THE SUPERB ADVICE!!
I have the same problem with the eyesight. I was told that I need a new battery. Should I go ahead change out the new battery . Hopefully it will solve the problem itself after I change .
Does this fix the issue? Meaning, whatever caused the issue in the first place (I just test drove a 2018 forester and when I turned onto gravel, this happened) if I did this fix, next time I turn on gravel would this happen again?
DUDE!!! I love you man !!!! I did exactly what you said . IT WORKED !!!!! I was so bummed because I just purchased my Subaru Outback Premium in April . Thought I purchased a lemon .... It's all good now and I'm a happy camper. Thank you so very much 🤠
WOW! No offense, but with my luck, I thought there was no way this would work for me. It did! Saved me a trip to the dealer! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
I was two hours into a three-hour drive yesterday when my Subaru Crosstrek's dashboard went bonkers. Check engine, AT oil temp, cruise control, ABS, hill assist - all lit up! I thought a sensor was broken. But then my husband and I found your video, and this afternoon I went out and fixed it in 15 minutes. All is back to normal. As Stan said, it would have been faster if I'd had a socket wrench. I'm pretty fixated on privacy, so it's a testament to my gratitude for your video that I logged in to say THANK YOU!!
Thank you so much for this simple fix. It just saved me a lot of time, money and worry. It worked like a charm. So easy and quick compared to the alternative.
Thank you! I was getting the Eyesight and RBS warnings. Resetting the computer seems to have resolved it. I'll keep an eye on the battery, but looks like you saved me a trip to the dealership!
Good job Kyle. Hope you retrieved the 10mm socket you left on the negative terminal bolt (1:57, see also 2:14 where you are holding the driver sans socket).
Just watched this to try and fix the same issue on my GF's 2021 Subaru Forester. Everything is copesthetic again, but yeah I was worried about him leaving that 10mm socket on the negative terminal 😅. Tbh tho I don't think he would know what he does about this particular issue and make such a rookie mistake.
Thank you Kyle! This solved the problem on 2020 Forester. We had been driving about 2 hours. When the holiday dash lit up. Of course the Subaru Starlink sent some sort of message to the powers that be and I received an email from my dealer to make a service appointment. We had just had service done and I did not want to part with anymore $$$. I gave your tip a try and it worked great.
Amazing. Worked on my daughters 2017 Subaru Forrester which was lit up like a christmas tree. I then followed it up by charging the battery. 1 day later, not having any issues.
OMFG! Thank you so much for this, I can confirm this trick works on 2015 Subaru XV Cross Trek!!! I took my car to the dealership and they quoted $5000 to get some apparent sensor fixed. Wow, just wow! My questions are: 1.does this mean the battery needs to be replaced soon? 2. how did this "low-voltage" occur and what can be done to prevent it?
Well, it is the holidays and this saved me a trip to the service center. If I lived anywhere near you, I would be coming to your dealership. Thank you for the information!
LIKE A CHRISTMAS TREE
All the while, of course, vehicle is running fine. This morning, before calling my mechanic, I went back online and once again encountered this video.

A big thank you Kyle, your advice is still helping people 3 years on 😀
That was the best 5 minutes I've spent in a long time. Thanks for the help Kyle.
P.s. was a little scared I wont get hit by electricity when I was about to touch + and - cables together with bare hands but all good 😂😂
Excellent procedure to fix my dash board issue. From now now, I will keep a 10 mm socket labeled "battery terminals" in my car. Many thanks.
Great information, fixed my daughter's 2023 Ascent.
We wanted to avoid the whole dealership visit and did thanks to you !
You just saved the day. Woke up to these lights on my 17 forester XT. Ruined my morning, but your video saved us. Thank you so much 💓
You're the best. Saved me a trip to the garage. Thanks for taking the time to make this video!
saved my wallet and fixed my headach along with my 21 Ascent. day 1, check engine at oil temp abs uphill assist lane change collision, all on. day 2 all but at oil temp. day 3, check engine abs on. did this and it reset it all. thank you SO much!
Update on my Subaru forester. Your method worked. You are a genius person. Thank you so much.
My 2018 Subaru forester check engine, ABS, hill assistant, eye sight lights up yesterday and [S] light flashing. I thought it'll casue my arms and legs. You saved me. It fixed my car in 10 minutes.
No problem, glad I could assist!
Did this fix the problem? I’m having the same issues
Let me know if it helped out! If not it may be best to take to a reputable Subaru Dealer to fix a deeper issue! Best of luck!
Appreciate that! I try so hard to follow this procedure like 4,5 times and now got my car 🚗 fixed.
Awesome!
It worked! I can now cancel my appointment at the dealership as well as missing a day of work. Thank you!
Works like a charm. Did exactly as instructed to resolve the issue. Great job Kyle.
2014 Subaru Forester with all alerts displaying. The car even shutdown at one point due to all the alerts (presumably because if certain alerts were actually true, this would be a defense against engine damage)
Upon inspection the positive battery terminal was HEAVILY corroded. This in spite of recent dealer service which included a battery inspection that was given ✅
After cleaning battery terminals with a wire brush post/cable brush, alert displays disappeared at startup just like they’re supposed to.
Thank you 🙏🙏
I have a 24 forester. 13,000 miles. Today the entire dashboard lit up. Did as you said. Thank you
Spot on with this advice for my 2017 Forester.
Awesome! Glad I could help and if you have any additional questions, throw it up on here and I'll look into a video for it in the future!
Currently i have this problem with my ascent onyx 2022. I try it tomorrow. Hope it works
@@stephenbandico9632 did it work
I have the same problem with the eyesight.
You are awesome man, thank you! I was so stressed about this issue thinking the worst, and you made it so easy to fix!
Wolf: Worked like a charmer! I had the engine light on after a transmission oil change - this did the trick! Thank you
Just fixed the missus 2013 Impreza with this. Saved me heaps of cash & stuffing around, mate.
I'm out in the bush. Cheers🇦🇺
Greetings from Australia, this just fixes my 2016 outback, thank you.
Nice!!! Appreciate it!
Kyle thanks for your info.. I fixed my dashboard lights in about 10mins… your the best.
Thank you so much for this simple fix. It just saved me a lot of time, money and worry.
It worked like a charm. So easy and quick compared to the alternative.
Just did this with my daughter's 2014 Impreza, it worked like a charm. Thank you!
Thank you! I was getting the Eyesight and RBS warnings. Resetting the computer seems to have resolved it. I'll keep an eye on the battery, but looks like you saved me a trip to the dealership!
Thank you so much!!!! 5 min solution, hardest part was finding the 10mm socket in the basement!❤
This solved the problem for my 2021 Outback. This video saved me $200 and 2 weeks of waiting. Thank you!
Thank you Mr. Boline. We did as you mention. All icon lights on my dash was cleared.
Thank you for making this video. You saved me a trip to the dealership!
You are a life safer. This is exactly what just happened to my Subaru Outback. I did exactly with you said and problem solved. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Thank you! I agree with other posters with respect to checking for loose gas gap first before following the tips in this video.
Glad it was helpful!
What if this doesn’t work?
Good job Kyle. Hope you retrieved the 10mm socket you left on the negative terminal bolt (1:57, see also 2:14 where you are holding the driver sans socket).
I was going to comment on that but thought I would look through the comments first to see if anyone else picked up on that! lol
Thanks Kyle! This fixed my wife's Outback that had errors for Eyesight, RAB and one other, they were gray'd out in Settings, all 3 at the top.
This worked for our family members' 2018 Forrester. Thanks so much for posting!
You are a lifesaver!Just fixed it using this method!Im gonna subscribe!
You got a new subscriber. My moms car just did that. I will try it out. You the man bro!
Great tip. I did this on my wife’s Forrester and it fixed the issue. Thank you!
100% recordable to try I just fix my 23 forester wilderness for eye sight issue, thank you for this video!
Amazing. Worked on my daughters 2017 Subaru Forrester which was lit up like a christmas tree. I then followed it up by charging the battery. 1 day later, not having any issues.
Awesome information. Worked on my 2018 Crosstrek! Nicely explained and done! Thank you! 🙏
Have I told you how much I love you rn? This was the cure!
This worked! Thank you dude! We had one mechanic tell us the transmission is out lol
Thank you for sharing this video . My Subaru car has this problem today , I’m watched your video and I fixed it!
You really are a lifesaver ! it worked for my forester!! thank you thank you 🥰
Great TIP Kyle. I had this issue and this tip fix it. Thank you for putting this out there.
holly cow this actually worked on my forester!!!! thanks for the incredibly helpful video
Just tried it: Worked like a charm. Let's see if the problem comes back or not.😀
This worked. xmode flashing, 3 other lights and eye sight lit up. Followed ur video. Thx
Just did a reset on my 2017 Forester XT, solution works!
However, it's a short lived! Thank you anyway!
OMFG! Thank you so much for this, I can confirm this trick works on 2015 Subaru XV Cross Trek!!! I took my car to the dealership and they quoted $5000 to get some apparent sensor fixed. Wow, just wow!
My questions are:
1.does this mean the battery needs to be replaced soon?
2. how did this "low-voltage" occur and what can be done to prevent it?
Thank you! I had that issue and then I followed this procedure and it works, I have now fixed the problem.
Thank You! This saved me an expensive visit to my mechanic.
So far so good Just worked for me 2015 Subaru Legacy u da man kyle!
Well, it is the holidays and this saved me a trip to the service center. If I lived anywhere near you, I would be coming to your dealership. Thank you for the information!
That is awesome! I am glad I could help, I understand a busy holiday season that's for sure! Have a great day!
