Nice video, thank you for posting it, even if it took a few years for the algorithm to present it to me. 🙂 Flew into Adelaide many times between 1996 and 2017 whilst working for a company based there. Very familiar with this flight path and the one over the water. Always enjoy visiting Adelaide and will be back in July. Sorry you’ve had to deal with the negative comments.
LUV THIS VIDEO, CAUSE I CAN RECOGNIZE EVERYTHING, AND NEARLY EVERY SUBURB, PLUS ALL THE MAJOR LAND MARKS AND BUILDINGS AND HOSPITALS. I ONLY WATCH VIDEOS WHERE ALL TYPES OF PLANES ARE LANDING IN THE BEST CITY!!!!!
It also depends where you live too... Someone who lives in the North Eastern Suburbs could probably identify more things on the flight path than I could.
I love watching the approach into our airport because it takes you right past the best end of the CBD. You can see the Oval, the Riverbank Precinct, RAH, Elder Park, The Festival Centre, Rundle Mall if you know where to look... 😊😊😊🇦🇺
+++++++++++++++AMERICA WAS NICE BUT 3 WEEKS THERE WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH + I WAS GLAD 2 GET BACK TO ADELAIDE QHERE LIFE IS MORE RELAXED++++++++++++++GOOD 2 BE "HOME"+++++++++++++++
It's generally very disappointing to know that you have had to deal with such negative comments about Adelaide. I'd bet that most came from those with little or no experience of it. I've visited often enough to know that its actually one of Australia's well kept secrets; a relaxed way of life, parks and free open spaces everywhere you look, beautiful beaches, world-class wineries and a beautiful southern mediterranean-style climate. It's often mentioned on the lists of 'world's most liveable cities' so calling it a hole is ridiculous.
Thank you. Some of the comments just got too much for me. It's a video flying into Adelaide, not a judgement of what the city is like. It is a great place to live, hence why I always like coming home :)
For sometime, there was a passenger levy of $5 per ticket, that was used for funding noise proofing the houses directly under the flight path in the 90s. I wouldn't think it too bad.
It’s changed alright. Born in Adelaide but haven’t lived there for 25 years. The last visit in 2016 I couldn’t believe how overcrowded the place was. That was the best thing about Adelaide was the relaxed feel and not having congestion. Totally not the same place I grow up in. It’s lost it’s charm.
This is my home airport, and what you see is different than me. I just whacked the phone against the window and let it film, commentated on somethings I know.
@@TheNthbeach hey, still a great video. I fly this route all the time and should have said more than what I did. I grew up in Adelaide. I try to take videos of all the take off/landings I can and have the exact video.. didn’t mean to offend

Most welcome :) Thank you.
Very interesting to see the aerial view of Adelaide from a planes perspective.

Great landing in Adelaide video! It was almost like reading a street directory from the air, it was very easy to spot landmarks.
So true 👍
great footage!!!
Some say it was easy to spot landmarks lol.😉 ive lived in adelaide all my life ,i couldnt make head or tail of it ,until the last ten seconds

@@TheNthbeach precisely!
Adelaide is not that bad.. could be worse, like Darwin.
I'm flying into Adelaide next week 🛩✈🛬💺🍻
nice video my friend
Thank you 👍
@@TheNthbeach please do keep in touch my friend
Awesome video
Right on top of my house just before you land
I was actually wondering what it would be like to live in those houses? I paused it right on top of the last house haha! You must love planes too?

This is one American who would gladly trade homes with anyone there. If you're looking to trade homes I'm your man.
Which airline were you flying? I want that pilot next time I fly.
Qantas....
Thanks mate. Going to Adelaide with Qantas soon; obviously not guaranteed THAT particular pilot but hopefully one as good.
@@TheNthbeach Of course it was Qantas, best trained pilots in the world with the best safety record 🇦🇺👌
Adelaide doesn't change much I bet in 20 years time it still looks the same.

It is changing, but it's still a nice place to be. I kinda like it here :)
Eastern States ignorance and arrogance.
Definitely need to clean up the torrens big eye sore
At least for once we are spared the ridiculous "butter landing" phrase in the comments.
I just said Fred right....

Shame he/she wasn’t watching the video when filming, missed out on so much
