@@katrinamashaal1048 Yes you should use bottled water. Otherwise, it'll turn green. You don't want green rose water 😂

So easy. Thank you! If I wanted to make a summer rose hydrosol what would I do to preserve it? Add witch hazel? In your opinion, what essential oils would be a compliment to the rose? It's getting hot in CA so I'm thinking your base is a great start
👀

Interesting
Did you use hot water after wash? How long it have to keep under water?
Love it..can you show us how to extract Rose essential oil from rose petal please🌹🌹🌹🌹
does the color of the rose matter ? like what if I had all yellow roses or something ? also you did not tell us how long will this last in a sprits bottle ?
I made some and it was very potent when warm, is it less potent when cold?
Thank you for your suggesion
You're welcome 😊
Nice sharing dear friend ☺️
Thank you so much 😊
Hi very cool video, thank you, I just don't understand how long do u have to let it simmer aproximatelly?
I simmered mine about 15 minutes. I hope that helps.
The rose water I use, I buy and I don't store in a refrigerator till it gets empty. So I don't understand there, is anything added or I can still use this and it doesn't get spoilt in week
Can i use it on sensitive skin??
How long usually it takes to cook rose pedals to lose the color?
Brilliant. Most of "making rose water at home" videos suggest boiling the petals. Totally unnecessary, and I dare say quite wrong - by boiling you kill half components that make rose water so precious.
Made mine today. 24 hours, my petals are all decolorated, and the water is pale pink. Smells marvelous.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH for this video.
🎉
Hello...what kind of roses do you grow, and use, for this recipe?
We grow heirloom tea roses because they have a great scent. But any roses with a good scent to them should work.
Hi, you really need organic roses :). You don't want any roses bought from the store - they are just made to look beautiful and last longer - thanks to lots and lots of pesticides. Something that you definitely don't want on your skin or even to drink! I would suggest to try Bulgarian Roses - they are qualified as one of richest essential oil-bearing roses! But you can't buy them from the store. Why don't you try a product that has this rose oil. I love rose water but I don't trust just any product on the market. If I don't have the right roses I wouldn't even try to make it myself. Check this video ua-cam.com/video/tVXayVS-CHU/v-deo.html it has so much information about the rose water.
How many days or weeks can we store this at room temp? Or should we keep it in the refrigerator for longevity?
Make small batches, it's best fresh. Keep in the refrigerator in a glass jar, not in plastic. And trust me, once you tried it, longevity will be the last of your concerns - you'll use it in a blink of an eye :)))))))))
I put it in a glass jar (kept in the fridge), and pour every morning about 100 ml into a spraying container I got from the store. And I use it in a day. All over my body and hair, after every shower and before bed. Yah, 100 ml, gone in a day.
Edit. Haven't noticed it's a year old comment; I guess you know it all by now :))
I was wondering if I canned it in the pressure cooker if it would hold the beneficial properties while also increasing longevity
@@nicinightbirdI would like to know this too! Great idea
What can we do with the leftover, already boiled rose petals? Sorry, I'm just a very frugal person. 😘🥰
Is sow coul
Can I use filtered water for this please?
Seem that not all roses have a smell, can you use these also or just the ones with fragarance? Also I have white and yellow roses will they work? Thank you Debi
If your roses don't have a scent to them they probably wouldn't work well for this. But if your roses do have a scent, you can use any color of roses you like. The color of the rose water might be different than the batch I made in the video but it should still smell good. I hope that helps.
Wait you cooked them? How long did you leave it on the stove for?
how do you store? does it need to be regrigerated? how long does it last?
If I start making mine at home, can't I use it without storing in refrigerator and it doesn't get spoilt?
Can we store in room temperature or is it best to store in the refrigerator?
Can something be added to make it shelf stable? Also what uses are there?
Yes alcohol
I just add a tiny bit of dragon fruit powder to make it a lovely pink colour
How many days we should store it...
Can i use it on my face if i didn’t use disiled water? (It is green)
Do you always use fresh roses? could you use dried ones if you'd dry them up for a winter use?
Yes
What will happen if I use roses that aren’t organic? What will it do to my skin?
Thanks for sharing did you use warm water to infuse the rose 🌹 petals into the water ?
Yes, you want to heat the water to warm it.
How long can it last?
Question: is this product shelf stable? How should it be kept? How long will it last? Thank you!
it'll be lasting for 5/6 days. If you want to store rose water more time. Then you have to take steam of rose water.
Do we need to store in Refrigerator.?
We have to put the petals on stove or not after washing it???
heyz, what if u just cold-press the rose petals to get rose juices and then use it on face? Is it better or worse?
I don't know I've never tried that before.
@@frugalfamilyhome if u try it, let me know hahas :)
Am I gonna rins the Rose petals with normal water?
What is your roses to water ratio? How long does it store for?
I'm so happy to have met you here. I followed the article on Pinterest and really love it. Thank you and God bless you.
You are so welcome!
@@frugalfamilyhome hi my rose water turned green what should I do
You should use DISTILLED water
does it have to be oraganic? idk if mine are but if not is it unsafe to be used on the face?

The one from the store are full with pesticides. Why don't you try a product that has real rose oil. I use Rose Nectar and I don't trust the other rose water on the market. You did not use distilled water and temperature was to high or to long cooking
Must you keep it refrigerated or not?🌹😉
It looks like an ordinary tea made with distilled water, or what makes this an hydrosol?
How long did you boil it for ?
How day we can use it
How long can we use this.?
How many days we can store it ?
I've seen rose water recipes that call for dried roses, instead of using fresh. Is there an advantage to use dried? With this recipe, is the rose water edible?
Yes it is
@@lurcherlifegrace "Yes" to is there an advantage to use dried, or "yes" to if the rose water edible?
Yes it’s edible
Can i know for how many days is it's shelf time
This is amazing what’s the shelf life on this
I read 6 mths in the refrigerator
Hey! Can we store outside like not in fridge?
I always store my in the fridge.
