In India we have been using rose water since ancient times and this continues till now there's nothing as soothing as fresh rose water...rose water is like our saviour in extreme heat...These roses are so exotic oh I wish if I could see them live
We have an indigenous rose in Minnesota, USA, Rosa Canina or the dog rose in plain language. Valuable as a source of vitamin C for use in food and medicine by our indigenous people. It has a simple five petal flower usually pink in color. They make massive hips (fruits). Love and peace to you 💋🌹♥️
Wow I bet it smells amazing there. Working while your environment smells like flowers, prolly would have me less stress. If I get the chance to visit Iran, I'll definitely drop by to get myself a liter of that rose water. 🌹
Living in a place that is hot and humid I appreciate rose water. I spray it on my face to cool down. Smells wonderful and is so refreshing. I would love to try his rose water but doubt I could buy a product from Iran. I'll have to look into it.
Interesting. Being from Bulgaria, I came to this video expecting to hear about this tiny little country, because rose water is very popular around here and there are still quite a lot of farmers. But I can see it being a difficult business to thrive in. Thank you for the great video.
@SG Temporary yeah, I get what you mean, and I would agree a 100% were it not for the actual economic struggle that sustaining this activity presents. You can't farm roses and process them if you don't have a stable income from them. It's very energy-consuming. If it could be done like a hobby, then yes, you are right. But in this case, were it not for the economic benefits, I can guarantee you those families wouldn't farm roses and make rose water.
@SG Temporary yeah man I get what you mean, and I agree completely. I just rephrased what the man in the video said - that they're pulling out of this beautiful tradition because of economic difficulties. I never disputed how they feel about what they do. Why would I? Cheers. 👍
What an amazing story! I wonder what sort of economic situation is influencing old rose water makers to stop? Their expertise can't be undervalued! I love love love the look of bundles of roses and how much fresh water they had in their courtyard while they were boiling the rose water. Can you imagine what ot would be like to grow up in that home, smelling the rose water, watching them grow outside? No wonder they feel compelled to continue growing them
late response but the answer is industrializing, we still use large amount of rose water today but handmade rose water are expensive. and mass producing make it efficient and cheap
I've been using rosewater for around two years now. Every evening I wash my skin with a sensitive clarifying cleansing gel, then pat it dry and apply some rose water. After this I use my face cream. I really noticed the difference when using rosewater. My skin is very sensitive and fastly irritated, but the rosewater helps me to get rid of all red, dry and oily spots and makes my skin even. This is no advertisement for rosewater, but it really saved my skin 😍
We used to have these same pink roses in our village in Punjab. Full of fragrance. But now they seem to have gone extinct. Great job watching that many roses gives me pleasure.
