Wonderful. What settings were you in at some of the time? Thanks.

Not gunna lie, i have a background in nerf modificarion, so assuming that this uses some kind of gears and spring system, you could definitely beef up the spring (as long as the catch and gears are up to the task) and modify it to run on lipo batteries

Is this the same machine included with the 680pbh kit with the catching net?

Are you still using your 680bh. I have one and from pictures it seems the 680pbh has a flat striker which could explain the difference in trajectory. I’m not sure if they modified the spring strength, strike angle, or strike point as well. The ball trajectory is different than Ed Ju’s 680pbh. Have you modded at all?

Someone said if you plug in the Franklin one it will spit the balls out faster than 8 seconds. Still, not sure these cheaper models are worth it. I agree with others that you may have to have the machine closer to you to get the right effect of playing someone, like balls coming right at you. I am tempted to try this in my driveway for practice.

Does the hole for the ball drop in the net allow the ball to drop with ease. We have attempted to set up our net a couple of times and it seems like that pickleballs do not easily go through the hole to the machine. Did you do anything or notice anything with the setup

Great video, enjoyed content, watched numerous times and liked/subscribed to your channel. Is machine still working, considering either one you got or the Franklin.
Question: Think the idea of creating an angle is good one. You used a paddle and what happened. I was thinking about creating type of ramp/angle for it.
Also elevating it on a platform, closer to the height of the net, can you angle it downward?or does it only pop upward?
Thanks Appreciate your content, been unable to find/get any assistance. Any help would be appreciated. Keep up the good work.

I think it would be better for practicing volleys. You might try putting it on the same side of the net and stand just outside of the kitchen. Then it would simulate a chest high lifted volley. Is there a net refeed system that would keep you going?

I wonder if you could rig a "deflector" at the outlet to keep the ball lower. like a hood of some sort. Coild be made of wood or plastic. I'm not an engineer but I think you have more design knowledge than me. Good luck and have fun with it.

Thanks for the video. I got one and I plan to get a USB to DC 6v cable to leverage a power bank instead of D battery.

Thanks fore the review! Have you ever looked into the Furlihong 681PBH Pickleball Machine? I haven't used it yet, but it might be better with the trajectory, so that you possibly would not have to prop it up anymore. It's out of stock on Amazon right now, but hopefully it will be back in stock again soon.

Looks like you just put it on a tripod and you get the angle you want. I just got this unit for $60. Guess I got a steal. Now I need to find the right power bank for it.

You could just buy the pickleball versions of these types of units...they are $90-$99 amd they do have launch height adjustments. Ultimately these just dont seem to create enough ball velocity.

I just checked out other videos on pickleball machines you have it on the opposite side of the net they put it on the same side of the net that they're standing on so it goes a little further and you hit the ball from there... I ordered one it should come in tomorrow I'll let you know... nice video though very helpful thanks.. ✌

Looks just like the Franklin model I had that worked for 30 min before it wouldn;t feed balls anymore! Worthless.
