I realize that this is an "older" video, but, I hope you get to read my comment Chooch! I'm looking at buying a used 2017 Thruxton R and came to UA-cam looking for some "good" reviews. Well, I found lots of reviews, but none were what I would call "good". Until I found yours. You were the ONLY person that gave not only a "good" review... you gave a "perfect" review of this bike. You covered stuff I did not even think I needed to know. Thank YOU so much for helping me make my decision to purchase this amazing little gem!

2006 build, Indiana bike shop, 1979 hard tail chopper. Springer front end, long. 30s paid for. Moter built, I just put 500.00 clutch, 1000.00 in alternator, switch from gen, changed points to hei ignition. To start chat

You're right about the suspension....it's gonna be off when you weigh over 50lbs more than it's set up for from the factory! LoL....and yes, you can dial it in superbly for even ...ehem, heftier riders.Great review MC, especially liked where you showed us slow riding and handling in a parking lot. Most reviewers, or riders in general, fail to "test" a new bike in that very important way. Well done!

That bike is beautiful. I'd been looking at the street scrambler but now I'm torn.
There is a new Scrambler 1200 coming soon. I would wait and look at both when the time comes.

nebulabob the T120 yes. They do not sell BMW though so I wouldn’t have access to that.

I like the specs showing on the screen (I don't think you did that last time?).
You definitely go into a lot of detail about the bike and it's specs, but it might be better to keep your notes hidden if possible.

A little weird that the adjusters are different on both levers don't you think?

Couple things about the bike:
It sounds amazing!
Definitely looks like a cafe racer. Weird hearing you say it's not.
Not sure about the mirrors on the ends. I hear that makes it harder to filter/split lanes.
It does look like quite a small bike even when you're not on it.
Must be nice having a bike that lets you just let out the clutch to get moving.
Don't hear you scream from the acceleration this time though, so it's obviously not as fast as the other bike.

Thanks for the comments! Yes I know having the notes visible isn't ideal, but my memory SUCKS something awful and I'm riding so many different bikes now it's hard to memorize. The titles are new, and were requested, which I think was a fantastic suggestion. Definitely weird about the adjusters, but glad I had the guts to play with the one on the Thruxton.
Get a bit of tape, paper and a pen.
Write your notes on the paper with the pen, then use the tape to attach the notes to your visor :)

Never ridden a Thruxton, but they do look great.
I REALLY liked it in white at the dealer. But that red was soooo sexy.
I rode the T120 and really liked it apart from it feeling a little underpowered on the highway. I'll be riding a Thruxton shortly :D
