I’ll take a Bayoneta 1 remake with Bayoneta 2’s lighting + graphics patch and select few added moves/weapons and such from the other 2 entries. One is the least busiest to look at. Straight masterpiece.
@@brupts7297 The gameplay of the two is terrible, the game wants you to pass verses in the blink of an eye to get the platinum medals, since half of the enemies can block your attacks by interrupting the combos and the dodge offset, appearing to be the perfect excuse to abuse of the witching time (which is even more stupid since they reduced its duration in the second game largely depending on the attacks of enemies) or use the umbran climax, which is equally bad because the amount of magic you receive per hitting enemies is nerfed even with the desperate look accessory, and someone who got pure platinum in both games on all difficulties tells you that :/, I would say that the only success where that works in bayonnetta 2 are the bosses, because unlike Bayo 1, the cardinal virtues do not feel like a test but rather like a puzzle in which you must know the patterns, however Lumen Masked and Alraune feel like a dance of time and reaction where you can legitimately feel fluent, but clearly in the boss chapters it's easier to get platinum medals both in time and in combo because they don't ask for as much there.

Bayonetta 1 from beginning to end is a masterpiece. It stands on its own, and to be honest never needed sequels in the first place. It has the best story, incredible weapon selection, best character development, memorable music, and sheer breadth of content. It's opening is iconic, its ending impactful and I will always feel blessed to have played it. --- *And it's Available on PC/Steam to be enjoyed in perpetuity.*
Bayo 3 just feels off. Gameplay wise its good but the characters just feel off Surely Bayonetta doesnt need to fix her make up because she looks good all the time...isnt that her thing?
I love Bayo 3, but something about that Bayo seems like an imposter. The 2nd game Bayonetta SCREAMS “Bayonetta” when you look at her and listen to her. I never really noticed how much cleaner Bayo 2 looks over 3 until people mentioned it here. Very vibrant and clear, 3 is great but I can see what people mean. I love all of them though
I will always love Bayo 1 the best, I haven't played 3 yet but it will always have a special place in my heart. Also Bayo 1 is the most powerful (with the Kilgore glitch 😆)
BAYONETTA ON XBOX SERIES X LOOKS EVEN BETTER. I love all 3. I've played BAYONETTA since release and got all achievements on Xbox. Definitely a fan here but the 3rd Bayonetta didn't really captivate me as much as 1 did.
1 just a classic, best weapons, Best Outfit(Default) 2 best graphics, Best Story ,worst weapons? 3 worst graphics(just character models maybe?) Worst outfit(default) -Worst story from the looks of it forced to use some random side cut that has a completely different controller layout) Haven't beat it yet so i don't have much to say about 3 yet. Which in itself says something, 1 and 2 I couldn't put down for weeks.
At the age of most video games with more than 100GB, the Bayonetta series with only a few GB but with excellent graphic performance is nearly a miracle!
They had to take away in 1 department to make room for everything they put in it. The big set pieces, giant demons active while all the shit is on the screen + you doing what you are doing I see why. It would be running at 15 frames a second if they went with 2's art direction + combat stuff. Sad though with that. If the system was a fair bit stronger , we woukd have what we had in 1/2
I like Bayonetta 3 design She with braids is cute even though i love short hair, and i like her outfit from 3 too,but when you close up to her face on Bayonetta 3 it's just..... 💀
2 > 1 > 3 personally. 1&2 are pretty close, but I think 2’s just slightly more fun to play. 3’s got some neat ideas and cool weapons but it’s also tough in places and is the worst paced of them.
Honestly this just makes wish they put the other bayonetta games on other gaming platforms other than the switch just so I can enjoy them instead of buying a different console just to play these games. And it makes me wonder how they will look like with much more freedom the other consoles give, graphics and etc.
Well Sony and Microsoft wanted nothing to do with the Bayonetta franchise. So Nintendo stepped in and helped out Platinum games, which resulted in Bayonetta belonging to Nintendo as well. And due to Nintendo's Draconian standards, it's guaranteed that all future Bayonetta games will be released on Nintendo hardware from now on.
@alphonsejohnson5601 Every console has exclusives. If your franchise has to get supported by a major company, then of course, you're going to be made exclusive to their hardware. Microsoft sometimes decides to play nice, but they are also the biggest losers out of the big three (as of right now) for a reason
If I have to be brutally honest: Bayonetta 1 is kinda hard to come back to. Not impossible, but it's so much harder than the other two games and also many gameplay elements are kinda dated compared to the others including (but not limiting) the brewing, the witch time and the challenge portals. All of which 2 improved.
I will never understand how people are still confusing visuals and graphics. You can like the way bayo 2 looks but that doesn’t mean it’s more graphically demanding. The physics, lighting, character models, and textures have never been better than Bayonetta 1. Bayo 2 suffers from texture and resolution problems. Bayo three suffers graphically in every category. Terrible shading, low light refraction, clashing polygons, stuttered frame rate, asset consistency(things literally disappear off screen mid fight), lack of textures. Perhaps the only thing bayo 3 does well graphically is resolution consistency. But there’s other problems like audio sync issues and menu element glitches. Bayo 3s gameplay is fire though. Only coming up slightly short to 1 because of the lack of intuitive design. The biggest problem is enemies attack patterns are not set to only fire when the player has visual of them. It makes it hard to keep track of the target and avoid attacks which is a very important element, even to the lore. It would be perfect if the enemies only attacked when on screen. Overall, gameplay and graphics both go to bayo 1, visuals (art direction) go to bayo 2 (it looks the prettiest) and bayo 3 suffers visually and graphically with the funnest gameplay in my opinion. Also if it matters the story in two is the best.
There's a reason optimization needs to be taken into account. It worked for the earlier games, it should work for the 3rd one. They should've used only what was necessary and optimized the graphical fidelity.
I know this vid is old but I still want to express my opinions on this series, as it is and was very important to me. To be clear, I think Bayonetta 1 is the overall best from a gameplay standard. Yes it has burning enemies, yes it has invisible guys, yes QTE's, but it's all learnable, if what you want is a rich and fulfilling experience. The combo system, unlike the other two, is not based on spamming your strongest move as fast as possible to receive pure plat, rewarding you for instead styling on your opponents. In 2 and 3, if you want pure platinum, you gotta use your biggest move as rapidly as possible. It's really dissapointing to me, and the skill ceiling is comically low. 2, of course, has the best graphics. I don't know how they squeezed that out of a WII U. 3 I try to forgive because of the whole "Restarted from scratch halfwar through development" thing, but god it makes for a sloppy final product. I would've preferred it take another two years than come out with such muddy and low res textures- it isn't even a Switch thing, since Bayo 2 Port looks just fine. I'd say when it comes to the soundtrack, all 3 games are neck and neck, but I have to put 2 slightly ahead for the Heavies music. God that piece is good. So yeah. Probably nothing you haven't read before, but this series shaped my taste and expression as an artist, so I wanted to give my two cents.
Fingers crossed we'll see an enhanced release of Bayo3 on Nintendo's inevitable future console. There's a ton of gorgeous details and although the gameplay is perfect, pretty much all footage of it looks kinda awful.
I hate bayonetta 3 didn’t have hair powers that’s what drew me to her that her wicked weave powers were so cool to watch the hair physics I guess you would call it the way the hair wraps around the leg for arm that comes out is such a good visual that it’s her hair keeping the demons in line like a leash

1:00 WHAT DID THEY DO TO HER FACE
Blame it on switch. That system is weak as shit and they aimed for a stable 60 fps too.
I’ll take a Bayoneta 1 remake with Bayoneta 2’s lighting + graphics patch and select few added moves/weapons and such from the other 2 entries. One is the least busiest to look at. Straight masterpiece.
I prefer the Bayo 2 colors, the music is also the best out of the 3.
I love the art style and theme of the first game, followed by second and the third one is def at the dead bottom in my list.
Same here! Bayo 2 is the best!
1 has great combos, 2 has best graphics, 3 has most moves and transformations
All 3 are great
Bayo 1 for the win for me. In terms of totality
No
Same, its the best game in my opinion
Bayo 2 imho had amazing balance with Story and gameplay
Nah dude Bayonetta 2 is the best looking and I like Bayonetta 3
If Bayonetta 1 successful back then I think the sequels would of had there own specific art stylem
It's successful because the game got port to switch, it's not gonna successful because western is stupīd, they only buy mainstream thing and play battle royale moba game till death
I agree same as everyone, Bayo 2 looks better and more vivid, and colorful but Bayo 3 all the combat skills and everything else are a good thing to play
The 1 and 2 are beautiful, the chara design, the angels and demons, the giant monsters... Everything is better than the 3rd
Bayonetta 1 & 2 : The Witch And Those Seraphs
Bayonetta 3 : Every media tropes go BRR--
I recently played bayonetta 1 and 2, now I'm playing bayonetta 3.... bayonetta 2 feels much more solid and cleaner than bayonetta 3.
Bayo 3 Bayonetta looks too cutesy with her long curly hair and large rounded glasses, Bayo 2 is her best design imo because it has a "smart and sexy" vibe to it, really makes her look like the badass witch that she is
bayo 2 was critized and people telling combat in first game was superior. bayo 3 came out and people are looking back at bayo 2 for how good the game was
Granted it was a lot less demanding in 2 compared to the first game but it was still good
Honestly, I like bayonetta 1 the best. I just like the overall aesthetic more. The other ones just feel too vibrant in a way I don’t really like.
Agreed
So true Bayonetta 2 at a glance looks like a kids game. The bright Nintendo colours…
they can't eternally bring the same aesthe'
@@snekgewehr if you thought that was bad then look at three, I feel like a lot of things are a lot more flashier than the other two games. Though I don’t see how bayo 2 looks like a kids game by looking somewhat brighter?
Bayo 1 and bayo 2 striking a serious pose while bayo 3 is busy putting on her makeup
this video is so necessary... people want to deny reality, saying that the game is perfect but against images there are no arguments.
They messed up making every chapter have these huge arenas in Bayonetta 3. While she looks great in the customization screen, they have to sacrifice graphics mid battle/in movement which sucks for plenty of reasons.
I do prefer more of 1 and 2 but 3 does have its own charms. I don't really hate it personally, but of course everyone has their own taste.
Lmao frrrrrrrr people be trying to say the visuals on Bayo 3 are the best LMAO
@@Linkanator-xn6og If we're talking solely on visuals, then 2 is the best.
But overall game? 3 is the best tbh.
@@nicholasd9374 no it doesn’t I played it the graphics are fine. Idk where you guys see this dropping rates at.
All 3 are amazing games and have their own unique charm❤️💙💜
Thank you for the W take
I miss everything about bayon1
I just love whenever bayonetta walks or land on the ground there's this butterfly appearing on her foot
I miss the beast from within in bayonetta yeah the masquerade is cool but nothing beat the original and her body in the third game looks different she had more curves and breast size in the 1 and second game i aslo miss the original summon spells i miss playing as other characters and getting more outfits for those characters (edit) and I miss the torture attacks
it would be better to compare the graphics in photo mode for bayonetta 3
The comparison would have been so much better if you used her Original outfits and weapons from each game.....
It's actually insane how much worse the graphics in Bayonetta 3 are. The thing looks like a Wii game.
Bayonetta 1 from beginning to end is a masterpiece. It stands on its own, and to be honest never needed sequels in the first place. It has the best story, incredible weapon selection, best character development, memorable music, and sheer breadth of content. The gameplay is just incredible, balanced, and given the most love and care. It's opening is iconic, its ending impactful and I will always feel blessed to have played it. --- *And it's Available on PC/Steam to be enjoyed in perpetuity.*
Bayo 3 just feels off. Gameplay wise its good but the characters just feel off
Surely Bayonetta doesnt need to fix her make up because she looks good all the time...isnt that her thing?
Bayonetta 3 was good gameplaywise but graphics and story wise, it just doesn't compare to the masterpieces that are the first two games.
3:53 flame. jpg
yeah, it honestly makes me upset how bad this game looks
I love Bayo 3, but something about that Bayo seems like an imposter. The 2nd game Bayonetta SCREAMS “Bayonetta” when you look at her and listen to her. I never really noticed how much cleaner Bayo 2 looks over 3 until people mentioned it here. Very vibrant and clear, 3 is great but I can see what people mean. I love all of them though
A moment of silence for the real loss in Bayonetta 3: The mole.
I'm going back to 2 after just beaten 3 that ending left a sour taste in my mouth.
Bayonetta: 💃
Summons: 🤬💢👊
Very cool Bayonetta comparison video.
I will always love Bayo 1 the best, I haven't played 3 yet but it will always have a special place in my heart. Also Bayo 1 is the most powerful (with the Kilgore glitch 😆)
Anyone else feel like the camera is an enemy in 3 moreso than any other one? I constantly have to turn it to face enemies.
BAYONETTA ON XBOX SERIES X LOOKS EVEN BETTER. I love all 3. I've played BAYONETTA since release and got all achievements on Xbox. Definitely a fan here but the 3rd Bayonetta didn't really captivate me as much as 1 did.
Short haired bayo is my personal favorite.
im still laughing at the bayo 1 "WAKAKAKAKAKKAKA" thing
0:56 now that i see I like the Bayonetta 2 graphics better. Bayonetta 3 looks little bit strange I don't know.
1 just a classic,best weapons, Best Outfit(Default)
2 best graphics, Best Story ,worst weapons?
3 worst graphics(just character models maybe?) Worst outfit(default) -Worst story from the looks of it forced to use some random side cut that has a completely different controller layout) Haven't beat it yet so i don't have much to say about 3 yet. Which in itself says something, 1 and 2 I couldn't put down for weeks.
0:55 she looks younger in every game ... :3
At the age of most video games with more than 100GB, the Bayonetta series with only a few GB but with excellent graphic performance is nearly a miracle!
When bayoneta 2 looks better than 3.
Sad
They had to take away in 1 department to make room for everything they put in it. The big set pieces, giant demons active while all the shit is on the screen + you doing what you are doing I see why. It would be running at 15 frames a second if they went with 2's art direction + combat stuff. Sad though with that. If the system was a fair bit stronger , we woukd have what we had in 1/2
That would be the ULTIMATE bayonetta
Bayonetta 3 released AFTER DmC 5 💀
I miss beast within....
0:54 Hideki....what happened to 3 😭
Botox
How is it that 3 is the worst looking one? It's so blurry.
3:33 the censored mode does really censor the demons? Really?
I miss Goddess Bayonetta so much on PS4 & PS5! 😢
Agree on Bayo 3 having the best/funnest gameplay.
Especially the witch trial when enemy does crap ton of damage and theres no visual of the attack coming
There's a reason optimization needs to be taken into account. It worked for the earlier games, it should work for the 3rd one. They should've used only what was necessary and optimized the graphical fidelity.
It really doesn’t bayonetta 3 plays fine
@@theghostofumarskoolishere.4632 nobody said it doesn’t play fine. In fact it probably plays the best.
Still hoping PlayStation gets Bayonetta 2 & 3 one day.
Hahaha, no
Same, it would look 9000x better there, but the chances of it happening now are so slim
The Switch really held it back visually. They have to make a higher definition port for PC and home console later
Why does 2 looks impressive than 3
I'm gonna be honest, Bayo 3 was so much fun with the combat, traversal and summons. Bayo 2 just looks amazing, and...I still have fun with Bayo 1. Each has it's upsides, and downsides, but I'm glad to be a fan.
i don't know if you guys would have the same opinion as i, but when whe talk about combat, 1 and 2 are the best ones. The third you almost do nothing with Bayonetta, as we can see in the last part of the video, cause it majority uses beasts to fight for her. Dunno, kinda messy and lot of information too, besides they made the graphics similar to the first one.
If only Bayonetta used RE Engine, that would've been fantastic, but unfortunately it's a franchise that is stuck with Nintendo now.
I didn't realize that they really do change the bayonetta models in the three games, I thought it was just my impression.
People in this comment section really hating on bayo 3 without even playing it. I remember bayo 2 getting the same type of hate when it released 😹😹. People don't change
Year bayo 2 + 3 can't play in pc, so everyone hate them
@@dietlubannuoc atp, this emulate, bayo 2 is piss easy to do so nowdays
3 juegasos, gracias Nintendo por salvar a esta gran saga
its funny how in bayo 3 she looks in the mirror when its the ugliest game
Crazy how you can say that when 1 exists. Lol
@@imarock.7662 bayonetta 1 character model looks waaaay better than 3
@@jvn_ That's some cap
2 and 3 are the best.
@@imarock.7662 If you look into it bayonetta 1 and 2 have IMMENSELY better looking faces than bayonetta 3. Bayonetta 1 has a very smooth and finished looking face, 2 is just perfect as well then when you look at 3 the face looks blurry and unfinished. So many bayonetta fans agree that bayonetta three was such a downgrade. The only thing bayonetta 3 got right was gameplay.
Did you guys know that Eva. Who is Dante’s mom designed the witch time bracelet? For Bayo?
So the question is…. Is Eva a witch?
Bayo 1 has a special place in my heart❤️
Bayonetta 2 is simple a perfect game. I've playet it for +600 hours... I'm still struggling to beat rodin... I started playing Bayo 3 and although it's decent, it's not at the same level of Bayo 2.
1 and 2 so far the best
i didn't notice that cereza from bayo 3 doesn't have a mole or her lower lip?
Bayonta is in the third, not the ones in the first and second 🤫
she does have a mole, every bayonetta in bayonetta 3 has a different mole placement
likely that it just didnt render
Some maps don't render bayo 3 face. The desert level render her face but the spider demon level doesn't

Bayonetta 1: Best accessories & most precise combat + most personality
Bayonetta 2: Best visuals & Cutscenes + Outfits
Bayonetta 3: Best Demon mechanics & Exploration + Weapons
Bayo 1 better story too
