Its still her best look to me. But i HATE the hair poncho; it messes up her slender frame. If they shortened it a bit and showed off more of her upper body itd be great. That outfit looks AWFUL on jeanne though. She already has extremely long hair and they painted the costume the SAME color as her hair so her torso literally just gets lost in all her hair
I feel like bayo3 lacked of sassiness and naughtiness. Even her look is younger and livelier but She seems more serious, while bayo1&2 have more naughtiness.
Personally, I liked 2 the most with the colour and the better character model. Also her costume didn’t feel too cluttered. However, I’m slowly getting used to Bayonetta 3’s design and after playing the game hopefully my opinion will change.
Id say 2 is my favorite. Especially with the pose on the horse. Her look and sexy short haircut were perfect. I just to this day still cant stand her hair poncho though. Its too big for her slim frame and clutters up the look for me.
@@jerongordon Her beehive hairdo was iconic and seeing as her hair is a conduit it was actually really practical with making her summons look smoother but I respect your opinion. May Bayonettas beehive rest in piece

To me Bayo 3’s Bayonetta seems more teenaged/college bound. Like she’s still finding herself. Bayonetta in 1 & 2 is a fully realized woman. Bayo in 2 was so high class 😍 Those dresses and the hat OMG. Bayo in 3 comes off as more casual or J-Pop Idol.
******SPOILER****** It makes sense when you get to the end of Bayo 3. The og Bayonetta tells the Bayonetta we play "You didnt cry while I was gone, did you?" Its as if despite being grown up, were still that little girl who hasn't quite reached her full potential yet. The little Cereza og Bayonetta had to look after.
@@theoceles4380 It was implied that Bayo3 is OG Bayonetta, seeing as Singularity kept calling her “Arch-Eve Origin”, and there are two ‘Bayo1’s. First is the one seen at the very beginning, who dies at Singularity’s hand, and the second, who comes to aid Bayo3 near the end. So, in other words, the second Bayo1 is the little Cereza from the first game, not Bayo3. Further proving this, (Spoiler Warning) the Bayo2 that shows up summons a Labolas that showcases an ability the first Labolas didn’t have; splitting itself into separate entities. In the video game descriptions, the Labolas from _Bayonetta 2_ is a dog that wandered into Inferno and mutated into its current form. The Labolas in _Bayonetta 3_ is a family of cats that met the same fate as the dog. I read that it was implied that Bayo2 is actually yet another alternate Bayonetta who was seen in the prologue of _Bayonetta 2._ The one who reacted with amusement and/or disgust when she realized that she was facing a Lumen Sage. (“A Lumen Sage? Cheeky. No-one bothered telling _me_ any of your kind survived.”), rather than the shock OG Bayonetta felt when she realized the same.
@@theoceles4380 holy shit that makes so much sense. I instantly thought of lil cereza when I saw the bayonetta 3 design. Obviously the bayonettas from 1 and 2 appear at the end and that line is pretty much a dead giveaway that it's little cereza from bayo 1
I felt like her entrance in the first game was the most balance in terms of both naughty and skill. With 2 it leaned too hard on the naughty, and then did a complete 180 here in 3.
@@idontsm0ke the 3 of them are playful. But in terms of Sassiness it goes to 2 in seductiveness 1 in playfullness 3. Look if you were Cereza would you use your time to flirt and say sexual jokes in a situation where you don't know where what and when something will attack you. Cereza even panicked in the last universe she traveled. Singularity literally said that where did her confident smile go and her panick just sped(i think he said sped or wrong but nonetheless)up the situation or destiny. Cereza was noticeably more playful within all Bayonettas. She uses more logic and more strategies compared to others. I mean she gave all her strength to defend ppl she barely knows(the other worlds) which shows her uniqueness

In terms of overall intro, the 1st one is still the best for me. The level of camp and sass was perfect! Especially when she asked for more guns. In terms of reveal, I’d give it to the Bayo 2. Plus, the cinematography is on a different level.
Bayo 1 : Rodin making a homerun with a coffin and bayonetta launching herself legs first to grab angels Bayo 2: Do you guys have a problem with my dresses ? Anyways time to get naughty Bayo 3: DONT TOUCH THE DAMN FOOD
Can we agree the aqua-colored dress on the boat might be the worst thing we ever saw Bayonetta in?😅 I might not be a fashion designer, but the bodice looks so stiff, the dress looks so cluttered, and the overall color doesn’t compliment Bayonetta that much!😅 Her Sunday Best from Bayo 2 was leagues better than whatever this dress was! C’mon Bayo! We know you can do better!
It's not bad at the base I mean you're right the outfit on bayo is kinda atrocious but if you make the collar thing less rigid maybe have the top hang over the shoulder, get shoes and pants that actually compliment it and change the color of the ribbon in her hair or just get rid of it and it's be lovely I kinda wish we had a costume of this outfit but since it does definitely have it's flaws I can definitely live without it
@@nicolasdlcful Agreed i wish Platinum games would make up with her for a possible redo of another PROPER Bayonetta. Jennifer Hale did ok for her own Bayonetta, but i miss the original SO BAD.
@@decusq The franchise is over. On the other end, if they decided to make a Bayonetta anime (about Bayonetta 1 or 2, we don't need that lame thing from the 3rd game), the studio producing the anime could hire Hellena again. 🙏🖤
Bayo’s 1 design was the perfect design in my opinion, with the whole black dress showing her long femenine features and with the two hair extensions under her arm acting as a great way to “accesorize” her figure by balancing it behind her, mixed with the red and gold tones from details and white gloves it was simply beautiful, bayonetta 2 design was also really good, with the short and spiky hair “cape” making the upper boddy feel clustered, makes all the attention go to her legs making them feel longer thanks to the contrast with the heavily detailed chest area, and also changing her iconic red details and black to a lighter blue details and black was a really good decision. but bayonetta’s 3 design……. First of all, purple and gold seem to be the most present among the details along the red ribbon from bayo 1, and on this design, everything is a bit clustered together from the shoulder to the neck to the skirt and also the hair ribbon on her back, the two tails most of the time fall right on the silhouette of her legs making neither of those two stand out, it feels static and doesnt has as much flow like the other two designs had, to me it feels like a chunky thing that hides most of her femenine features , but maybe it ends up growing on me once i play it who knows
I guess we could call it baroque. Is a lot of things crammed in it, but is growing on me, even when I'm not a fan of all the colors mixed, like the red accents when the energy (and the overall pallete) is purple. Also this has to be the only outfit that shows more blatantly thats is made out of hair, instead of only a few well selected parts in the other outfits, so that's nice; but is probably more of a "taking advantage of the switch's graphics" than anything else. Not that the Switch is too powerful by any means, but Bayo 2 was a Wii U port after all.
I like the design because it is mostly reminiscent of little Cerezita: the hairstyle, the dress even the red ribbon. Now she strikes more like a Cereza and I love it
bayo's 2 design just was perfect to me. Her short hair cut was so classy to me and i loved the colors on her. They fit her guns perfectly too. AND THE EARRINGSSSS
There's two things about Bayo 3's reveal that feel off. One, you can't see how her dress is being cut, in the first 2 installments you can clearly see the weapons grazing her skin just by a hair and making the cuts. Two, when she forms her outfit, she has her long pigtail braids, then they disappear for just a second making it seem like she has Bayo 2's hair, and then they grow again? It's kinda weird
@@luisfillipebeserra2108 With the outfit changes, her hair normally stays the same. Other than it covering the rest of her body. Like her hairstyle doesn't change. It does in Bayo 3, which is weird because we're not used to it working like that. Small detail.
Yeah also for a second includes her arms in the gloves' section. I know she was using shorter gloves, but there's no indication of the skirt or the puffy shoulders either. Just a lazy skin tight thing that somehow transforms in the final outfit. Maybe the engine or whatever can't handle the looser parts of the clothes so they just made this? I don't know, but still feels that the other games did a better job on that regard.
@@rensvh98 I kinda have a bit argument counter for this one, it also applied to bayo 1 where she wears a nun outfit where her hair shape is "flat" due to how to how her cloth restricts her overall look for the hair. So like yeah it is quite obvious that the angel's weapon clearly in visual grazes her cloth in a process of her doing the transformation, but when she takes off the clothing, her hair suddenly appeared to be a witch's hat hair ???? It doesnt make any sense either, it's just the fact that the fluidity of animation made people forget about the logic behind it. In my personal opinion for Bayonetta 3, her taking the clothing off of her (which mind you, there aint any visible scene of her action "throwing" her cloth away) which mean her hair might be shorter and gone for a bit off camera for her hair to reform entirely to form her whole hair outfit Lastly, if you're saying about the Bayo 1 transformation still having the long hair but disappear slowly as she turn them into witch's hair hair specifically on this video, the OP probably have climax brace equipped bc in the actual cutscene when you play the game for the first time/did not have climax brace equipped, the long hair did not loose like that and isnt exist.
Bayo 3's cutscenes are really lacking something. Framing, pacing, choreography, animation - everything gives off this stiff, underpolished feeling. Both 1 and 2's intros are phenomental though.
I'm not too familiar with the Bayonetta games, but it seems like the first two games were using pre rendered cutscenes while the third one is using in-game cutscenes. The way the game smoothly transitions into gameplay at the end. Still the choreography is definitely worse but I really like in game cinematics.
@@musicimpact7120 Bayo 1 & 2 were also in-engine because they allowed you to change costumes. It seems like they utilized more post-processing effects though. That still shouldn't affect choreography and camera work.
@@BeatGoat yeah i guess you're right, it is in game. I guess I just couldn't believe the graphics were so much worse on the new one. I thought maybe the older ones looked better because it was pre rendered.. Seriously the colors are awful in the new one.
@MechanicWonder what are you even trying to say lol It has nothing to do with it being new, visually Bayo 3 just doesn't look that great, especially in cutscenes. It used to be the height of style and cool choreography. Now it's just meh. The cinematics are a major letdown.
Bayo2's reveal had just a bomb music track and its criminally underrated. The ost just shows you so much behind the voices and sound sfx, feels so much like a hollywood movie music track, and then leading into Moon River is just 👌
Note: this is just my opinion... but to me there's just something off about Bayonetta 3 in the overall design and sound. Someone commented that she's too PG-13 and that she lacks the sassiness and naughtiness of the first games. From the scene where we see her dress cut, there's little left to the imagination so to me the overall risqué-factor seems to be met. What I feel is lacking, however, is the spice to her character. The flavor. The reveal looks too slow paced and, dare I say, a bit too bland for my liking. Unfortunately, I'm used to a slick, spicy, and swifter version of the character. Additionally, the music doesn't really help out in this reveal. I had been yearning for Bayonetta to use "Moonlight Serenade" ever since I heard they were making a third game, and although they ended up using the song, it unfortunately seemed to miss the mark for me. The driving beat of the song is just not on par with the previous songs from the last two games. To add further to my explanation, the singing is just a tad too harsh in this song. The singing in the first game was very faint but still it compliments the song well. "Moon River" in the second game had stronger singing than the first, but there were still stylistic choices made in the song that made it enjoyable to listen to on top of a fast-paced song. This rendition of "Moonlight Serenade" has a strong singer like the second game, but with less stylistic choices in the singing and the weaker musical accompaniment, the song leaves me wanting.
Moonlight Serenade and Al Fine don't really hold the candle to the four others for me. They're good, but they miss a little something. Notably, I find it hard to dance to them. I think that the problem lies in the percussion and voice. The percussion isn't strong enough imo, the change to a battery might be the reason why. For the voice, I don't really like how loud/upbeat(?) the singer is. I preferred when she was more sultry/softer.
Bayonetta 2 is still top tier, but I love the talking and fighting throughout the first intro. Gives more detail and grabs attention. Bayo 2 was still more powerful and extra sassy. As for part 3, her face looks like they did too much to it to where it looks a little like they reverted back to the graphics of 1. It looks good, but in ways not up to standards set by 2. Outfit and character wise, 2 sets the bar for me
To this day, Bayonetta 1 and 2's intros are so satisfying to watch! The epitome of style and fluidity. Then there's Bayonetta 3. It's just so... clunky? Like, what the hell happened? The cinematics across all three games were directed by the same person, right?
Bayonetta is, by far, my favorite characters in the gaming industry, I loved both 1 and 2 so much and I was so excited for the third! I finished it a day ago and even though I loved it to the core, I still feels that the choreography and overall colors of the game were a bit lackluster? Like, it was a good game but it lacked something that Bayo 1 and 2 had.
I think that bayo3 is just a lot more elegant and less sexy as the others but still silly and sassy but I think I see where the devs were going we saw this version of bayo as a kid so maybe it would be kinda weird to see her go super into it like we can see this with her outfit to she has the most modest outfit and cover art to just a though tho
The best one is 2 in my opinion. The camera, the framing, the models, the color, are just *mwah*. But I think the second best is Bayo 3, primarily for the action that ensues. Her swinging from a line and then sliding around on a cruise ship riding a tidal wave through a city is just awesome, even if her transformation is lackluster. Bayo 1 did amazing still for the fact she was in a graveyard, and the transformation itself is better than Bayo 3’s. But I think 2 really hit the mark right on the head.
i like bayo3's outfit but there's something about the reveal and overall design that seems... off. there's something that doesn't scream "bayonetta" to me. i guess it's because she's like the perfect balance between sassiness and naughtiness and they tackled it perfectly in 1&2, but removed more of the naughtiness in the third one.
Her lines aren’t as badass as 1 and 2 and she seems kind of softer and more on the cuter side, if that makes sense? That could also be because her VA isn’t the same so she also sounds softer
There are very slight differences in each bayonetta's fight style that makes each bayo special, Bayonetta 1 stylized her fighting similar to that of tango dancing, Bayonetta 2 fights with styles similar to ballroom dancing and Bayonetta. 3 fights with styles to from figure skating
My big issue is the camera work and lack of impact when it comes to the whole opening sequence for 3. Like the camera work for the costume reveal is so bare and even grabbing her guns is just her floating in the air just gentle getting them. This is contrasted by both 1 and 2 where when she gets her guns (both normal and infernal guns) theres some OOMPH to it and the dynamic camera work helps this effect. For a third game in the series, you’d think they’d want to follow the same editing as the fantastic opening reveals of 1 and 2.
First 1 is the best because it leaves you confused with her dressed as a nun with a very soft angeluc voice only to suddenly become this battle warrior getting her clothes ripped off. You need to play the 1st game multiple times before even starting 2, for me atleast 1,5 year between them. People who jump into 3 immediately will not really get the franchise even if just focused on gameplay.
SPOILERS I see a lot of ppl don't like Bayo 3's intro as much as 1 or 2 but that's the beauty in it being confirmed that all 3 are from different multiverses. It allows for the character to be versatile without sacrificing what makes her Bayonetta bc that version is canonically a variant.
The 1 and the 2 really slayed on the music pick and the transition from the "UHH OOOHH AAAHH". The 3rd did a simple erotic moment with better graphics and that's it. I don't blame it, the bar was very high.
Was playing smash bros with my friend when I unlocked Bayonetta. Tried her out and loved the move set. Then when I won Bayonetta did a pose of getting on all fours and blowing a kiss towards the camera pointing her thang upwards… puberty hit hard that day.
I've never played a Bayonetta game in my life, but after looking and seeing all three of them transform, I have to say that I like all of them and their unique Style. Yes there's going to be complaints about Bayonetta 3 and how it doesn't seem to hold up, but I feel like Bayonetta 3 has a different tone overall, Plus there is the fact that with a new game coming out so long after a previous release in a franchise like this, where it has fans that are Ultra faithful? Of course there's going to be a sort of nostalgia blindness. Regardless, I think each Bayonetta introduction does exactly what it's supposed to do, which is introduce us to the character while making the leading lady herself look good. Bayonetta 1 gives us a great show and establishes Bayonetta and Rodan in the same cutscene, Bayonetta 2 gives us her solo act, but also still shows off her risque nature and her skill with guns. Bayonetta 3 is the one that I'm having the most trouble working out what it does, simply because I don't know the game because I haven't seen or heard anything for fear of being spoiled. Bayonetta 3 does what it's supposed to, and I think I'd have to play more to find out, so in the meantime I'll come back here when I learn what the heck is going on.
Platinum games should not have tried selling Bayo 3 as our cereza since I think reception would have been better if fans were aware of the character difference(s). There’s a whole lot more stuff that could have been better executed or were just unexpected bumps btw
I really thought they were gonna have bayonetta do a full magical girl sailor moon type transformation with her new outfit. Would have been cool to see the hair braid itself into her skirt and bow
I personally gotta love the first Bayo look. It isn’t totally cluttered like the third look and it doesn’t have the short hair or the poncho that the second look does. The first look even includes the ribbons and I especially loved the red and black color scheme❤❤❤
Bayonetta 1 imo has the best one, here's why: 1: It's more sudden because it happened in the middle when she was beating up the angels' ass 2: It has 4 moans instead of Bayonetta 2 which has 3 (Bayonetta 3 recycled Bayonetta 2's moaning sound effect) 3: Once she got off her nun clothes and became naked, there was a light shining at her for the watcher to know that she's gonna put a show 4: There was an awkward silence when she got her clothes off so that the watcher could comprehend what happened. 5: Fly me to the moon 6: Bayo 1 has rain which is a much lovelier environment (Remember, IMO) 7: The crotch shots when she equipped her handguns 8: The iconic lollipop 9: She used the angel arm like a stripping pole 10: Rodin actually helped Bayonetta 11: "As long as there is music, I'll keep on dancing." 12: The random squatting positions 13: When she attacked the angel with her hoohaa 14: She just yells "guns!" over and over at Rodin 15: The humor is unique Please remember, this is all MY opinion, you may view it differently
I’m not a fan of it. And I really didn’t like the hat. Like she had too much going on with the roses, the giant pigtails with ribbons. Huge meh for me.
Girl she was in a rush and had to quickly find any material that she could make into a dress. Reminder that those were decorative curtains on a wall 😭😭 at least it wasn’t expensive though.
@@cristianpadilla6178 Yeah i think the same, bayo 2 looks colorful and it really catches the environments but bayo 3 it looks like.....bayo 1 but downgrade...
Art direction. That’s what a big chunk of it boils down to, that and technical necessities; Bayonetta 3 demands a lot more on screen at once per minute than the other 2, leading to having to sacrifice Fidelities for performance.
Yeah personally, ẞ3 definitely hit the hardest, but only when leading up to the actual reveal. The dancing on the table part for instance, THAT was perfect!!! The music and the tempo perfectly matched her movements and style. But Riders Of The Light will always be a classic. In ß2, her spinning around after swinging off the backside of the horse, like an ice skating move, then leaping into the air was a KEY moment. ẞ1, it was the PERFECT outfit reveal! It was sassy, timelessly classic, sexy, and a truly iconic moment in all of Bayonetta. I wish there was a mashup of all the best parts of each reveal put into one. Maybe ẞ4 will do some justice.
Opinions are opinions and I see people not liking the third game but I think the third game is pretty cool. Sure she may not have that same sass in the other two games because she is younger bayonetta but I really like the third one and I also like the song as well ~ I thought this was amazing ~~
Third looks nice but imo they should've polished more on the clothing change cuz the twin braids vanish for a couple seconds.. the transition has potential if more elbow grease was put in on that but think they focused more on all the new outfits on the same two characters..
@@zuziiice8907true but I also liked bayo's 3's outfit like the other 2 since it's different. People say that she was younger here to it makes sense? I do have a theory that Bayo's fashion sense got better when she gets older and older.
Idk why Cereza (Bayo 3)'s face looks worse than Bayonetta 2. But my favorite is the first. There's something about the spotlights and the still pose with her hands up in the air.. the simplicity of it being super effective. Also I can't believe barely anyone else is saying this, but I really don't like Cereza's outfit. Her butt is barely visible and it's her best asset that was heavily flexed in the first two games. Her fringes under the sleeves look very very itchy to wear, and there is so much going on with her necklace and torso gold pieces. Like, add the fringes of her sleeves to the accessories on her gloves? Overload. But I like the way her skirt bounces. I wish they kept the braids as is flowing from her head instead of the ribbon though, I think the skirt is movement enough.
Is it just me or Bayo’s dress in the third one looks kind of weird? I don’t think that minty green is her color and that sort of style doesn’t fit her at all 👁👄👁
I don’t know how platinum games went from having decent lip syncing in Bayo 1, to having really good lip syncing in Bayo 2, to then having absolutely BAD lip sync in the third game. That’s throwing me off so much seeing some of the cutscenes on the third game. Also, is it just me or does Bayonetta in the third game go silence during some scenes where she would be making some "hmm" sound or moaning?
@@idkwhattowrite3244 no but didn't production already started with the new va since the old one didn't return. So this game has no excuse for bad lip synching
Honestly, aside from the design nitpicks that everyone's made, the biggest factor that really made bayo 3's outfit reveal less impactful to me was the music. Both Bayo 1 and 2 had such great OSTs and it was used so nicely to create an impactful moment, whereas bayo 3 kinda felt like it stayed in the same tempo all throughout.
I think the third game is really good I know a lot of people seems to be mad on some of the changes but to point out it’s very much implied that Ceresa who we play in the third game is a little bit younger than Bayonetta from the first game so she’s just getting into her you know not to mention it seems that they kind of don’t linger on some shots as much as they used tot but i’m just gonna think that might be because they may wanted to change the pacing A lot of the cut scenes I’ve watched seems to be going faster than the other two games so maybe the next game if we’re still playing as Ceresa
Perhaps I'm delusional but maybe part of the reason why the Bayo3 reveal cutscene feels a bit odd is because a lot of the shots shorten her figure? In 1 & 2 (especially 1) there seems to be quite a focus on not only showing her full figure but also her long legs. Even while she's fighting like kicking the coffin with perfect straight legs in 1 and absolutely MEAN twirl in 2. Yet in 3 there isn't a lot of full body shots and when there are they crunch her figure down or her legs are bent, making her feel smaller than she actually is. I think the shots that evoke that 1&2 feel the most (breakdance-esque scene being one) partially feel like that because they emphasize her long legs.
Personally, I felt like the timings in Bayo 3 cutscenes are badly paced… Take the moment when she’s dancing on the table. It could probably benefit with a much longer/drawn out section by making her twirls in slow mo as the dress slaps the incoming homunculi
bayo 3’s action scenes were godtier and you can really see the improvement from the other two games, but I miss her feminine charm and sass which was what made me fall in love with her character in the first place 😔
i think they went for different aproaches with each game, sexy elegant and cute it's pretty nice seeing her be so different even tho it's the same person
dem I'm out here among minority who like the 3rd the best. I think she's super cute and sass. Hell, I wish this outfit is available for main combat/story
Honestly I really loved bayonetta 1 and 2s animation and voice lines, it feels like their genuinely having fun and are care free Meanwhile bayonetta 3 doesn’t have that kind of sassiness and enjoyment. I guess it’s just the plot lines that make bayonetta 1 and 2 so fun but it’s really just my opinion
a bit disheartened to say 2 had the best intro. Everything was perfectly fast-paced and with the perfect amount of chaos. 3 felt a little bit *slow* with everything, especially with Rodin's sequences.

I believe the Baya in 3 was her own more innocent version isnt she? Just fundamentally more childish and playful rather than flirty and brash

It was a curtain she improvised into a gown but yes it does look a mess

It's not bad at the base I mean you're right the outfit on bayo is kinda atrocious but if you make the collar thing less rigid maybe have the top hang over the shoulder, get shoes and pants that actually compliment it and change the color of the ribbon in her hair or just get rid of it and it's be lovely I kinda wish we had a costume of this outfit but since it does definitely have it's flaws I can definitely live without it

The franchise is over.
FOR REALLLL
I like the design because it is mostly reminiscent of little Cerezita: the hairstyle, the dress even the red ribbon. Now she strikes more like a Cereza and I love it
bayo's 2 design just was perfect to me. Her short hair cut was so classy to me and i loved the colors on her. They fit her guns perfectly too. AND THE EARRINGSSSS
THANKYOU FOR SAYING WHAT YOU SAID.
Why strange? Every time hair magic is active her hair gets shorter or longer
1) Naive Angel Mode
2) concession for unlockable outfits???
@@rensvh98 I kinda have a bit argument counter for this one, it also applied to bayo 1 where she wears a nun outfit where her hair shape is "flat" due to how to how her cloth restricts her overall look for the hair. So like yeah it is quite obvious that the angel's weapon clearly in visual grazes her cloth in a process of her doing the transformation, but when she takes off the clothing, her hair suddenly appeared to be a witch's hat hair ???? It doesnt make any sense either, it's just the fact that the fluidity of animation made people forget about the logic behind it.
In my personal opinion for Bayonetta 3, her taking the clothing off of her (which mind you, there aint any visible scene of her action "throwing" her cloth away) which mean her hair might be shorter and gone for a bit off camera for her hair to reform entirely to form her whole hair outfit
Lastly, if you're saying about the Bayo 1 transformation still having the long hair but disappear slowly as she turn them into witch's hair hair specifically on this video, the OP probably have climax brace equipped bc in the actual cutscene when you play the game for the first time/did not have climax brace equipped, the long hair did not loose like that and isnt exist.

YESSS QUEEN
Bayo2's reveal had just a bomb music track and its criminally underrated. The ost just shows you so much behind the voices and sound sfx, feels so much like a hollywood movie music track, and then leading into Moon River is just 👌
The 1st outfit of Bayonetta makes her god-tier wifey! Hands down my FAVORITE of the series.
Nah idk someone definitely got fired or replaced
All 3 had different directors
The spirt of Ms Taylor wasn't there to add the horneyness bayonetta gives of
@MechanicWonder Neww?? 😂 This cinematic looks like something that was done before the first two games 🤣🤣

There's nothing quite like 'fly me to the moon' playing whilst shooting angels with pistols
I never played any of the Bayonetta games, but I kind of enjoyed Bayo 3’s outfit reveal: especially the slo-mo shot at 4:54
Many of her "hmmm"s in the 3rd one feels out of place.
When she transforms? Im pretty sure they used the same moan track as they did in the first and second game they just took out the first “ah~”
@@Gemini053 Might be referring to the ludicrous amount of grunt sounds during that intro.
Her laugh sounds weird too. 😬
Bayo 3 hype intensifies
2 definitely had the best music with that moon river remix
My big issue is the camera work and lack of impact when it comes to the whole opening sequence for 3. Like the camera work for the costume reveal is so bare and even grabbing her guns is just her floating in the air just gentle getting them. This is contrasted by both 1 and 2 where when she gets her guns (both normal and infernal guns) theres some OOMPH to it and the dynamic camera work helps this effect. For a third game in the series, you’d think they’d want to follow the same editing as the fantastic opening reveals of 1 and 2.
Bayonetta 1 will always be my fav, the sass and attitude and she’s just living her life ❤
i don't know why but her short hair looks stunning
Bayo 2‘s design is still my favorite

First 1 is the best because it leaves you confused with her dressed as a nun with a very soft angeluc voice only to suddenly become this battle warrior getting her clothes ripped off.
You need to play the 1st game multiple times before even starting 2, for me atleast 1,5 year between them.
People who jump into 3 immediately will not really get the franchise even if just focused on gameplay.

I see a lot of ppl don't like Bayo 3's intro as much as 1 or 2 but that's the beauty in it being confirmed that all 3 are from different multiverses. It allows for the character to be versatile without sacrificing what makes her Bayonetta bc that version is canonically a variant.
3:32 Forever an innuendo of the series
Tbh I like all of them… each one has a special vibe to it
The 1 and the 2 really slayed on the music pick and the transition from the "UHH OOOHH AAAHH".
So real
I need her on my roster so bad...
Did you learn? :)
Platinum games should not have tried selling Bayo 3 as our cereza since I think reception would have been better if fans were aware of the character difference(s). There’s a whole lot more stuff that could have been better executed or were just unexpected bumps btw
Why do i get this weird feeling that the 3rd one has this feeling of awkward cuts while she's transforming

Bayonetta 1 imo has the best one, here's why:
1: It's more sudden because it happened in the middle when she was beating up the angels' ass
2: It has 4 moans instead of Bayonetta 2 which has 3 (Bayonetta 3 recycled Bayonetta 2's moaning sound effect)
3: Once she got off her nun clothes and became naked, there was a light shining at her for the watcher to know that she's gonna put a show
4: There was an awkward silence when she got her clothes off so that the watcher could comprehend what happened.
5: Fly me to the moon
6: Bayo 1 has rain which is a much lovelier environment (Remember, IMO)
7: The crotch shots when she equipped her handguns
8: The iconic lollipop
9: She used the angel arm like a stripping pole
10: Rodin actually helped Bayonetta
11: "As long as there is music, I'll keep on dancing."
12: The random squatting positions

Art direction. That’s what a big chunk of it boils down to, that and technical necessities; Bayonetta 3 demands a lot more on screen at once per minute than the other 2, leading to having to sacrifice Fidelities for performance.
For me the most iconic intro is the first one because it’s just very perfect, 2 is excellent too, and 3 is okay.
Part one. My eyes were so wide at THAT part of the transformation. I was so surprised they revealed so much.

They arent nitpicks

No...ALL WAS BETTER AND BEAUTY, I LOVE HER
YOU SAID IT! >:)
Correct me if I’m wrong but if the bayo in 3 is the one that bayo in 1 had bumped into then that means…..SHE LEARNED HER MOVES FROM HER MUMMY 😭💗
you are not wrong she is implied to be her
But they're the same person, aren't they? Just from different timelines? I'm so confused
@@redse_ they are the same person different alternatives, one that slept for 500 years and one that wasnt sealed for 500 years
Perhaps I'm delusional but maybe part of the reason why the Bayo3 reveal cutscene feels a bit odd is because a lot of the shots shorten her figure?
In 1 & 2 (especially 1) there seems to be quite a focus on not only showing her full figure but also her long legs. Even while she's fighting like kicking the coffin with perfect straight legs in 1 and absolutely MEAN twirl in 2.
Yet in 3 there isn't a lot of full body shots and when there are they crunch her figure down or her legs are bent, making her feel smaller than she actually is. I think the shots that evoke that 1&2 feel the most (breakdance-esque scene being one) partially feel like that because they emphasize her long legs.
Bayo 1 Was just naughty
Bayo 2 Was naughtier
Bayo 3 was naughtish but elegant, cant be mad at that
I just noticed, the time when Bayonetta 3 was getting her clothes cut off-her pants are gone
Yeah fr especially since they clashed so hard with the outfit earlier 💀
Personally, I felt like the timings in Bayo 3 cutscenes are badly paced…
Take the moment when she’s dancing on the table. It could probably benefit with a much longer/drawn out section by making her twirls in slow mo as the dress slaps the incoming homunculi
Just the part where she pimp slapping while shooting the angel is hilarious
bayo 3’s action scenes were godtier and you can really see the improvement from the other two games, but I miss her feminine charm and sass which was what made me fall in love with her character in the first place 😔
Bayonetta 2 wins for me
I say Bayonetta 2 has the best overall dress reveal.
i think they went for different aproaches with each game, sexy elegant and cute it's pretty nice seeing her be so different even tho it's the same person
I actually love the Bayo3, it feels so princess like 🥰
I wish in the 3rd installment that it was a classical tune as well. Maybe Somewhere beyond the sea? Or something like that lol!
It was. It was "Moonlight Seranade".
@@QueenOfCavies I didn't know.... poorly mixed though! But yeah in the same theme! I hope to play this game one day!
@@Kalamolng I think the mixing is just this video. I recall another having bettet audio
This is the first time I see the reveal in bayo 1. Mum played it when I was 9. It's that one game where we always skipped the cutscenes haha
That woman is built different
dem I'm out here among minority who like the 3rd the best. I think she's super cute and sass. Hell, I wish this outfit is available for main combat/story
How it feels to chew 5gum:
Me: **stuff the whole pack in my mouth**
Honestly I really loved bayonetta 1 and 2s animation and voice lines, it feels like their genuinely having fun and are care free
Meanwhile bayonetta 3 doesn’t have that kind of sassiness and enjoyment.
For the two games on 360 and Wii U I’m impressed even though I never played it just on the video itself.
...So, is no one gonna talk about her casually walking around without underwear?
