Awesome vid!!! Really hope in the future Frontier allows us to place decorations as fences, imagine how cool it would be to be able to place a planter down as a continuous planter that acts as a fence.. It would save soooo much time. Or at least guest fences or something 🤷
Thanks so much 😊 and I completely agree, that would be awesome, not having to put down one after another to create a barrier 😅 but I doubt they will implement it in this game 😕
@@arthura4958 i mean being able to place it down the same way you can a fence. Being able to make it long or short and curving it. I have hope they will at least add smaller fences or guest fences in the future but we will find out..
Just got the game and still learning but that rock tip for the boarder earned my like and sub It’s gonna be such a nice thing for the herbs Can’t wait to try this game for the first time never had the first either so I’m pumped love tycoon style games
Great tips. I’m very creative so have always made parks with these sort of tips with some parks taking over 20 hours to build ever since the first game launched. Plus with playing planet zoo I can get way more creative. Only downside with tip #3 though is the lack of decorations we have so they all become very repetitive after a while using the same things in your parks. It gets hard to make certain areas different and unique using the same foundations and gardens and tables... we need 3x as much decorations as they are what makes parks stand out the most! Also with #1 I’ve noticed that if transportation rating is in the red zone in areas then guests won’t walk there so it makes your parks guest areas look very empty which is sucks, but agree not to listen to their needs.
Thank you 🙂 totally agree on the decorations, I was so excited to have all the new stuff, but after a while it does get repetitive again... also, I usually deal with the no guests coming to certain areas problem by putting a viewing gallery with an enclosure behind it with no other access point... some people usually appear after that 😄
These tips are really helpful. For me, sometimes it's too hard to ingore the guest needs, I don't know why, but sometimes it is, kinda wish there was an option to disable guest needs or star rating. I already know you can ignore it, but my eye always catches the 3.4 star rating or something and instantly goes ''That's not perfect! FIX IT!!'' Also the parks showed in this video were beautiful
Thank you so much :) and I totally get what you mean, I'm also not really satisfied with not having 5 stars, but then again, if you want to make it yours, that's the little sacrifice you have to make :D
Yes, I do plan to dabble into the game, but I guess I'll have to learn how to work with the modular building mechanic a little at first, so first PK content might not come right away, but it will for sure, getting the game tomorrow 😁
I just wanted to say.. to the channel and the fans and also the UA-camr that your builds will always look amazing I started of bad but with bit of courage and hope and began to make it look better!!! Like they say practice is all it takes -a smart and kind person (side note what type of buildings do ya use?)
8:39 the funny thing is, insede the car, they can see compys on the other side of a huge fence, but, is the guy is walking close to the fence, they cant see the t.rex on the other side.
Tip three is a bit subjective. Some of us(the players) have Buff, high-end PCs/consoles, but there are many who don't. Evolution Squere had a few showcase videos where she specifies that the decorations make a lot of lag (UK park made on livestreams is the best example). So the better way to say it is: It's better to have many, but medium is alright.
I wish there was some kind of community hub where we could trade ideas, tips ,tricks, etc. so that people like me who have absolutely no idea what we're doing could make an actually good park, not just one pen with every dinosaur unnaturally crammed inside and strangely not fighting each other and viewing galleries, shops, shelters, and bathrooms everywhere
Feel free to use any of the enclosure ideas on my channel! They're there for everyone to get inspired 😊 Plus, I sometimes upload my parks on Nexus for you guys to download. I always post the link to my community tab 😉
Whenever you're doing chalenge or chaos theory, do you try and make an aesthetic looking park (go crazy with enclosure size, adding a lot of rocks and decoration etc.) or something more practical (making the enclosures as small as possible, placing building at illogical places because it generates more profits, not use an decor etc?)? Great videos btw
Thank you so much! 🙂 with challange mode or chaos theory I don't really care about the esthetics 😅 just place down what needs to be placed... it's too stressful to be pretty looking 😄 haven't played chaos or challange in a long time though
@@JurassicTom I'm new to the game, and I'm trying to play through them now. On my first attempt, I focused too much on the esthetics. I have a sandbox where I have enclosures at different sizes and i would put in a dinosaur first to see how small i can make the enclosure and then i move back to the challenge mode and repeat that enclosure size😅
@@AC-mr3mq yeap, in the challenge mode or campaign it's always a hit or miss and does not need to look good. I like your designs of the enclosures but i cant imagen how to get that much of that little space and I Have a Question can you do the Stone Enclosure without fences for Carnievores too or just Herbievores ?
Thanks so much! It's not really about if you can or cannot, but if it makes sense. I mean, of course you can, but when I do a rock barrier for carnivores (like I was doing, for example, in my Jurassic Egypt series), I always use the large rocks to do that, since they wouldn't be able to get through those in reality. So it's all about your perception of what is plausible to you.
Hi, Tom! (Bit odd saying my own name but hey!) I struggle with feeling the maps are too SMALL (Probably because I can't really get a sense of scale for buildings and path width, the thinnest paths are still wider than the thin paths in planet zoo) Is there any tips to get a sense of scale when building paths or enclosures? I tried the enclosure planner site thing but the measurements are always slightly off.
Hello fellow Tom :D I'm afraid that there really is no trick to measurements in the game other than trial and error. It happened to me so many times that I created an enclosure too big for something or too small, but now I'm cautious about it. When I make an enclosure for small dinosaurs, I usually put it inside of a square and just use planters as barriers, for example. When it comes to paths and squares, you can always go big on those... don't try to save the space in trying to cater to the guest needs, just ignore them (of course this is only applicable on the Sandbox mode). Bottom line, build as you wish to build, and don't let the game's rules get in the way of your creative vision for your parks ;)
@@JurassicTom Thanks! @@GoatMilkCookie sometimes you just have to accept that a path sticks out of a completely perfect circle 😂 but I guess the trick is to continue with the similar shape that can blend into a path, create another circle from a circle, or a smaller rectangle off the edge of a larger rectangle, edges are naturally a great starting point, creates a pattern 😁
