For the paths clipping, there is a trick, you need to connect the path to the same kind of path that it was connected from. You can put the tours there by default, just lean with the tour path towards the wall and it should automatically click. With the dinosaurs, that's a glitch exploit. Some dinos have a running animation when exiting the hatchery. If you put the hatchery very close to the aviary, they get locked in the animation and some of them run through the wall 🙂
I like fencing in my people and running a large natural environment for the dinos and helping when they get injured watch them in their natural environment lol
When you talk about viewing galleries being higher up to maximise the view of the dinosaurs does it actually make a difference in the game, or is it just for realism?
Mostly just for realism, and also, when you then visit the gallery, it sometimes happens that on an even ground you can barely see anything in the enclosure 😅

Hi! I absolutely love all your videos, despite not having jwe2. I was a huge fan of the original jwe, and still play it often. I am saving up for a better console to get jwe2, but I was wondering, in sandbox is there an option to start the park with the land being completely flat? This was a big issue for me when I played the original :)
Thank you so much, I appreciate the support 😁 yes, you now have the option to start with a flattened terrain, no lakes, no trees, just a hollow flat map 🙂 plus, there are many more quality of life fixes since the first game, you really should get this one 😁
Thanks for the tips! I just find it really difficult and annoying to lower/flatten/raise terrain.. I've tried using that a few times but it just never does what I want it to do.. Any advice on that? :(
My tip would be to play with the sensitivity a little, I usually also forget it is there and do everything on highest sensitivity, which might not always be the best option though. Also, make sure you have the grid lines visible when editing, it's a huge help. And lastly, it takes a lot of patience and going back and forth. But it's not impossible, one tip I would have for creating smooth paths that go up and down, always try to flatten different levels of it at first, with just tiny short clicks, spread it out a little and then smooth. Hopefully, you get what I mean, it's kinda hard to explain 😄
I meant, if you have different elevation levels in your enclosure, it does not look natural if the water is higher than other levels, usually lakes are below the elevated parts. Unless you're faking waterfalls somehow 😅
@@JurassicTom I've been having that problem where when I put in water it rises from the ground... Almost like a Geyser! I hate that. Any advice on how to do right or decent ?
I prefer to keep the park look like just a Dino park I can't bloody make a park where it is restricted to civilian and only park staff can be there like sorna Edit: basically a park that is restricted to the public and only agents off the company can be there
If you have the smallest path and put decorations to both sides, the AI won't place the people there, they basically have no space to walk, that's what happens to me sometimes.
@@Spyingfurball hm 🤔 I wonder, might be there's no dinosaurs visible, a silly suggestion, but a closed park 😅 or the path being cut off by something somehwere else 🤔 other than that I don't know 🤷♂️
I do get your point, yes, and I am battling with that notion myself sometimes, but then I think, when you look at the size of a huayangosaurus, for example, it's smaller than a regular planter, and with the way how its body is built, I'd believe you can keep it in such enclosure :D but of course, to create diversity, you need to stretch the realism of things a little I think.

I like fencing in my people and running a large natural environment for the dinos and helping when they get injured watch them in their natural environment lol
You're gonna like what you see in my tomorrow's new park then 😉
When you talk about viewing galleries being higher up to maximise the view of the dinosaurs does it actually make a difference in the game, or is it just for realism?
Mostly just for realism, and also, when you then visit the gallery, it sometimes happens that on an even ground you can barely see anything in the enclosure 😅
@@JurassicTom True 😂 thanks
Does that big Para enclosure give 100% comfort?
All my builds are in Sandbox with the comfort turned off, so I wouldn't bet on it 😄
@@JurassicTom thanks, I'm always torn between a good looking enclosure with poor comfort or a decent looking enclosure with perfect comfort
@@arathearapaima7107 I believe that the comfort and Dino needs turned on pretty much ruin the park designs 😅 so my advice will always be, turn everything off and do what you think looks pretty 😁
and here i thought i was pretty decent at park designs but this is some next level shit
Haha 😆 thank you so much 😁
Tip 1 had me sweating because I had a Jurassic Park Section in my Jurassic World themed park.
Haha 😅 I'm sure it was looking great 😁
Well, I want to make a map that is just one big enclosure with a ton of Dinos but how do I get them to not murder each other and the hybrids going on a killing spree?
It's easy, just turn off dinosaur comfort, combats, and starvation in the Sandbox settings and you're good to go 🙂
Thx
@@JurassicTom thank you so much, I asked this because I want to make a map that is like a national park and I did not want fences or Dinos eating people
@@ratte9470 if you don't want fences, decorations and rocks are ideal barriers 😉
@@JurassicTom thank you so much! :)
1:58 XD btw its DFW
what if i like crooked fences??
If that's your style, go for it! 😁
@@JurassicTom I think I get what you mean! I'll definitely give it a try yeah.. I didn't even know there was a sensitivity option haha!
7:41 some sneak peaks?
Getting warm 🙃
What do you mean by ‘not putting water on the same level?’
@@fauxyeahjandy you need to slightly, but just very slightly, lower the ground and then when you put the water in, it should be levelled 🙂
@@JurassicTom hm? I must try this
@@JurassicTom thanks
As a console player, dont number 10 is a cakewalk 😎
Hahah 😄
Holy crap you and I are playing different games
Haha, thanks buddy 😁
thank you so much now i now hoe to do a perfect park thanks !!!
Hope*
that park is s beutiful!I wish i had jwe2 'cuase i play on nintendo switch
Thanm you so much 😊 hope you can get somewhere, it is worth it 😁
You can't tell me how to live my life, Tom!
Hahah 😄
I prefer to keep the park look like just a Dino park I can't bloody make a park where it is restricted to civilian and only park staff can be there like sorna
Edit: basically a park that is restricted to the public and only agents off the company can be there
I usually always click just guests when I'm starting a new park, the staff ruins the estethics 😄
I see people in my viewing gallery’s but not walking the paths why is that?
If you have the smallest path and put decorations to both sides, the AI won't place the people there, they basically have no space to walk, that's what happens to me sometimes.
@@JurassicTom I always use the biggest path and I haven’t placed decorations yet
@@Spyingfurball hm 🤔 I wonder, might be there's no dinosaurs visible, a silly suggestion, but a closed park 😅 or the path being cut off by something somehwere else 🤔 other than that I don't know 🤷♂️
@@JurassicTom I have a viewing gallery at every place, no path’s disconnected, park is def opened😂. Never had this issue
@@Spyingfurball might happen if you have 2 galleries and one is closer to the main infrastructure? 😅 that's my last guess 😆
My sin is I don’t use the ground brushes enough.
Never too late to start ;)
I wish I have this game 🥺
OOF
Do you ever use mods?
Not yet, I'm waiting till they're finished with the updates and until I run out of ideas 😅 which hopefully won't happen so soon
Do: what you want!
Don't do: what you don't want to!
Basicaly 😉
in sandbox I only do carnivours
WHY???
@@amus_keeto2465 Because they 're cooler only one I like is bumpy the ankylosaur
ceratosaurs is confused lol.
not a fan of low-lying enclosure borders like flower beds and stuff. Realistically any dinosaur could easily escape this so it breaks immersion
Check out Yoboy Bronto on UA-cam!!! He makes JWE2 videos that are fire!!!!!
It’s biosyn
I know the new map
I'm so excited ti get it today 😁
DFW for God's sake!!!!
Haha, I'm sorry, I just couldn't remember, since I'm not usually using them 😅
