When you're moving your soldiers, you can hold Ctrl and click around to create the path you want them to go. Which helps when you want to avoid them jumping through plate glass windows when concealed or blundering through small fires.
Loving the series, so glad its back! X-com is one of my favourite games, but least favourite games to watch others play. I spend half the time yelling at the screen saying "why did/didn't you do that!!!" or "well I would have done it this way...." But still very enjoyable series! Not played this expansion myself, but looks like good fun. Just amazed you're playing it blind and on ironman. Braver man then me! Best of luck!
In the first episode when you said people may get frustrated with the way you might play, I just shrugged it off. But this episode while watching I found myself yelling at the screen for you to do certain things. :p
Haha so much in this episode. I've only just started playing it but worked out by this point that a lot of doing well is about how and when you reveal enemies
Exactly what I was thinking! Imdb says John de Lancie and Denise Crosby are in this too... Proving that "Worf is the baseline for all interactions between humans"
mmm good stuff there's a lot to learn in War of the Chosen, and a lot of it was in these tutorials here, but some of it is just in being battered repeatedly by the Chosen--their objectives differ a bit from other enemies'! or so it seems
YES X-COM! You guys have all of our support. :-D Plus, I don't know if you've already seen it , but this guy made a fantastic animation of one of your videos! Check it out: /watch?v=VeWC9V2qH-8
Man, the overwatch thing looks so boring. I haven't seen it work well because this is literally the 3rd video of XCOM I see in my life but I am already happy overwatch is underpowered in this DLC.
Ah, the holodeck. Great in the show, but in reality we all know it'd be be used for sex all the time. Kinky, kinky sex and one sad, sticky roomba cleaning up the mess... :P

The intro and outro is incredibly high production value for a let's play. Nice job.

When he first revealed his squad. And then when he went suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper far ahead with Mox... ugh. I got triggered lol

Install a holodeck in your base, immediately run into Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, and Michael Dorn. Nice!

I'm really enjoying the remix of the Outer Limits theme in this.
Yes yes yes! The return of sponge squad, this has been a long time coming. Chunky kitkat and Noel Edmonds at the ready!
May I just say I am loving this series!
Don't really care much for Xcom. But I will watch that intro every time.
Thanks for making this series!
God you're lucky that flamethrower didn't explode
x-com 2 is much more bad ass than ever :F
Not liking Stevenage Luton's style is probably fitting
I wish I was eligible for bondage
This isn't PUBG / Destiny 2?
I am SHOCKED!
Mox on a box.
Are you editing the hell out of this, or do you legit have a setup that'll switch between XCOM 2 missions and geoscape in a few seconds?
Apparently War of the Chosen streamlined the loading times and AI turns significantly.
May have been an edit or two - but not editing the hell out of it particularly, no.
Maybe they've been quietly optimising as the new versions came out, I remember XCOM 2012 feeling like playing the original on 3.5" floppies.
Looks a lot like. Dammit, I needed that money for food and stuff.
WhOO SPOUNGE SQUUUAAAADDDDD!!!!! If you want Recruits Call me "Dandy Burdock" Goes with your food theme of course purple outfit Matt ^-^
Hmmm, it's almost there! Daddy Burdocks has a better ring to it! :D
....Yeah that's way better. I will make em both in my own squads they can be brothers you can too. Keep up the good work send them aliens packing!
