Creeps (and visiting Listeners)! Tell us what your favorite Always Sunny dance moment is in the comments below.
The majesty of the movement....iunno prolly some green man stuff 🤣
It truly is just a moment, Dennis and Mac swaying to Enigma during Schmitty’s initiation into the gang.
Commenting pre watch, favorite dance is charlies butt dance. Schmittys is just too forced
Maybe not the funniest, but enjoyed end of season 12 with gang minus Dennis dancing to Genius Of Love than blowing up his car with the RPG.
I stg I thought I recognized Mara and the second they showed her dancing I knew it. My bud back in the day had all these vhs tapes on dancing from like all the music video choreographers and that type of thing, and he'd get all these clips online, and I swear she was on a few. Also, Mara is um quit hawt. Sup with these unassuming hotties on the sunny pod 🤔
Please bring Artemis on the show. She is a genius and sexy desert grape.
this guy gets it
Yes! We had Hornsby, now we need artemis
yes! i love her character she’s hilarious ! cobb salad 🥗
Please, yes!
Mega bump
18:10 I love that Glenn appreciates Artemis’s line delivery there because it is absolutely legendary
Ha go back to your seat uh.
Mac’s dance, and really the whole episode, should definitely have garnered them an award. It was so beautiful and moving, and showing Franks change was so profound and what the world needs more of. It should get an award if for no other reason than to get more people to see the message.
No
I can't express how happy I am that you guys have started including actual clips from the show.
I second this
I third this.
I negative second this.
@@PrideRock92 you'd be negative firsting it
@@zacthebaptist well I am agreeing with what you say but in the negative. I wish there was a word for that…. 😂
The fat Mac body rolling across the stage is honestly the funniest thing I've ever seen. I laugh every single time and it's my favorite episode of all time.
Best. Episode. Ever. The speech by Frank in corpse make up, the Yankee Doodle remix, Dee's petty interactions with pageant contestants... Peak television comedy.
Made me fall in love with show lmao.
That episode is f***ing great! Everything hits!
@@turnoffswitchon Artemis smoking a joint while the show starts... it's all 10 year Olds
It’s hilarious. Just that look on his face & his turtle neck not covering his gut. The whole episode was a knock out of the park. I loved it. It’s in my top 10 for sure.
Knowing that the team puts their all into this show, with Kaitlyn with breaking her body multiple times and Rob spending months on his AMAZING choreography, just affirms this group are comedic genius. Mac's dance scene brings me to tears every time.
Its the incredible authenticity that they put into it that allows a dumb show like AS to survive and thrive for as long as it has.
I agree n I’m watching this episode again on break for like the 4th time and I ugly cry at the Mac dance and Danny saying he gets it. Right to the heart. And finding out that Kaitlin actually got water boarded and actually was stuck in a bog shows so much dedication. God the list goes on but I’m on limited time here lol but yes yes yes everything u just said
The mark of a good comedy show is definitely whether it can make depressed white women cry
@toddeeee Why do you call it a "dumb" show? It's definitely low brow at times and it definitely goes into areas that most people would probably think that you could get in trouble for going into that, but they do it anyway, which is probably why they don't get nominated for a lot of awards. The show is anything but dumb. It's actually very intell not all the time, but it goes up-and-down. It has a little something for everybody. I don't know that I would use the descriptor "dumb", to describe this show at any point.
"Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!"
The first time I saw this ep I absolutely lost it at that part!!
I was crying by the end of Mac’s dance especially with the Sigur Ròs music. I looked like Frank.
The best dance moment is, of course, Mac’s Michael Jackson moment where he opens his button up at the high school reunion, and then when everyone snaps back to reality lol.
It's the most I've ever laughed in my life. Nothing will ever recreate that moment.
Yeah it was more better when they snapped it back to reality. The perfect punctuation for that joke
Without question. Amazing EVERY time…but that first reveal is just killer…
His elbow dance is amazing as well.
George Michael
It was the weirdest thing to bawl like a baby during a Sunny eppie, but that dance Rob did hit me like a truck. Amazing.
I cried so hard ngl I was like THIS IS SO SWEET
Literally. It conveys the message so beautifully. Chokes me up every single time.
Check out the episode where charlie's dad dies in Ireland when hes trying to carry him up The mountain. you will cry during that scene as well.😢 In the later seasons, they have really added a lot of character development to these characters, and there has been a awful lot of heart and emotion infused into these episodes.
Yeah..I felt so surprised the emotions that this show hits me with. I wasn't balling but definitely had some tears at the beauty if that performance. I have NEVER cried over anyone dancing. This just HIT hard and differtently.
The rest of the episode was emotional, but I didn't feel anything but confusion about the dance, it pulled me out of it. I've watched it quite a few times trying to understand what I'm supposed to get out of it, I just don't get how it conveys any deep message beyond "here's some good dancing"
To watch them lose it, like my friends and I lose it, during Franks Little Beauties dance routine is just priceless.
100% - I'm so happy when I see people genuinely losing their shit to stuff they they made themselves. Best way to know if it's gonna make someone else laugh? - If it (still) makes you laugh.
I think that’s the hardest they’ve lost it during any sequence in the entire podcast

You’re an absolute golden god for this 🫡
Thx
Bravo! 👏👏👏
the season 13 finale is hands down one of my favorite dance pieces of all time. so beautifully shot and you can really see how much the team cared about getting this right.
Always been a creep. When Glenn kicked the door open my life was complete.
I see you're a man of culture corey trevor
For me, it was Charlie recreating his epic freeze frame jump and just nailing it. To hear these guys actually be worried in the earlier episodes about doing the podcast and see how quickly they just rocketed Monday mornings to be one of the best parts of the week has just been awesome to watch.
Lol I need to watch that. This is my first time creeping aside from seeing some IG clips. All listenin’ babyyyy
@@timf7679 Which ep was this?
And so was his
I loved that Rob mentioned the Pride choreographers were patient. Their attitude and professionalism truly helped deliver one of the most iconic and memorable television moments of all time.
Glenn has always struck me as being surprisingly graceful and some of his dance moments are my favorites- the spin move from the High School Reunion was amazing and his high step with the "dramatic flair!" for the pageant was perfect; his expression kills me
Robs dance at the end of the 13th season definitely deserved a reward, it’s so emotional and is truly beautiful ❤ definitely makes me cry every time.
Eh
Not sure if anyone else has noticed but during the ep when mac says "to quote Tom hardy: I'm an actor of course I've slept..." the full quote is "..with a man." That is so funny to me that they've slipped that little bit in there
The “coming out” dance makes me emotional when I watch it still, I remember the first time I saw it tearing up which is so unexpected yet beautiful for IASIP. Hearing Rob’s story about the effort he put in to practice for that just makes me appreciate it all the more. Absolute masterpiece and deserves an award.
As a bisexual dude who has struggled a lot with his masculinity over my life, Mac's Pride dance is one of the most beautiful things I've seen. Legit makes me cry everytime.
I know right, the sheer amount of emotion projected is insane
When he finally comes out and his voice cracks just a little when he says “Dad” kills me every time
💖🌈🦄
I cry every time
It literally gave me the strength to come out as bi to my then gf at the time. Had never said the words out loud, but did within minutes of that episode ending.
They skipped the episode where Dennis calls it quits and every body is doing their signature dance in the same sequence
Yeah or when they're having a party at the apartment to bury the hatchet and they're all dancing to the same song 😂
also franks dancing at the club when Mac hooks up with barbara.
@@Anghas GO FOR IT GO FOR IT!
Also the last scene of Psycho Pete Returns when they're dancing with the boombox on the train platform
Was really looking forward to that one. I watched that sequence over and over. (Mainly for Charlie’s butt dance).
The part with the boy who “genuinely loves pageantry” was awesome Yankee Doodle was absolutely epic .
I cried like a baby during macs water dance
Right. I loved Charlie's support. You can see the work that Rob put into it and Charlie is truly acknowledging the work he put in.
Same!
Lol i cri evrytym
I still do. And I still don’t get it
He explains in the episode that God is a hot chick and he wants to dance with her. The water is a reference to the cruise scene of him standing in the rain talking to God. Mac has always been religious but also thought God doesn't approve of the gay lifestyle. The dance is God accepting him. At the end of the dance and after Macs father walked out she whispers to Mac that "it's okay". Even the song has meaning. It's Varud by Sigur Ros and it's about the cold darkness of icelandic winters. Possibly about how being in the closet for so long made him feel on the inside
The "coming out/internal struggle" dance was the most beautiful, meaningful and impactful moment in the history of Television. THAT and Charlie crying in the last episode are both worthy of Emmys. Amazing work.
Thank you for mentioning the Charlie in Ireland episode. Because that was one of the most emotional scenes for me. When he was basically yelling at his dead father for not carrying him....😢 "you shoulda carried me."😢
Artemis saying "huh-gho hback to your seat" always makes me guffaw
Rob is so proud of his serious pride dance, and so he should be. Really turned out to be a great piece of dramatic TV. 🔥👏
that was probably the worst episode in the entire series
@@CorporalPoon Why is that?
@@VIK_1903 Because CorporalPoon is homophobic

Macs dance is by far one of the greatest moments of television of all time. Makes me cry each time! Simply stunning
you are a child, it's just a dance in a silly tv show, well executed and serves the story
@@larrote6467 ok :) have a nice xmas
Robs dance at the end of season 13 still gives me shivers. Around that time I realised I was bisexual and remember I was really scared telling my father about it. But just this moment of the show gave me so much courage.
It's a scene that's difficult for me to watch cause it just brings up all these emotions. Tears every time. But thanks Sunny for just being an amazing show and for maning this amazing scene
I'm glad that fat Mac's side shuffle is finally getting the recognition it deserves.
It's up there with the moon landing and Beatles on Ed Sullivan in TV history
Just an absolute triumph of human achievement.
Lmao
no way....its waaaay better
💀💀💀
The school reunion dance is amazing but nothing makes me laugh like Mac's karate/elbow dancing
How the hell did they not talk about the 'Genius of Love' dance sequence at the end of S12???? That covered everyone's iconic dance moves!!!
ua-cam.com/video/DTfBIMK8JZ4/v-deo.html
For reference
Yeah I can't believe they skipped that.
True!!
They gotta make pt 2 😂
Turning us all into creeps. Speaking of creepy, my favorite dance moment is Charlie eating Dennis's eyes. Gave me Labyrinth vibes.
I'll never forget seeing Mac's big dance to Sigur Rós. It was just incredible, leaving alone how surprised I was to hear one of my favorite bands in Always Sunny like this. Perfection.
Love it. Missed at least one though. The scene just before Dennis leaves to raise his kid, they're all dancing in the bar doing their classic moves is so good. Charlie doing the butt, Mac doing the elbows, Dee doing the tube-man, and Frank doing the move while Dennis watches. Just amazing.
I think if Kaitlin thought she can do her dance even better to the inflatable thing it is definitely worth bringing back at some point for another go!
Fat Mac with his gut hanging out is just classic. Happy bearded face and all. It's just too much.
Major shout out to Mara! She was an awesome host! You guys always have such a grounded and talented team, whether it's show or the podcast.
I agree! I kinda wanted her opinion on more of the clips lol
Wayyy better than Meg
Rob’s dance brings me to tears no matter how many times I watch it. Killed it.
Rob's ballet dance makes me emotional, it's so damn good. Also props to them for addressing the critique that it betrays the show's tone.
36:24 it’s always Sunny in Philadelphia is 1 of only 2 shows to make me cry and laugh, and this scene is when it happened.
After Glenn mentioned it a few (hundred) times, I just finished watching A.P. Bio and I loved it. So sad it ended like that with no real resolution 😟
I really enjoyed The Mick too.
The Mick was funny as heck, but AP Bio really filled that Dennis sized hole for me.
@@museofire The Mick was only going to get better and better. You could just feel it. Such a shame it got canceled. And on a freaking cliffhanger too!
@@MrGenexxx Absolutely!
@@museofire The Mick was dope! I really miss that show..
Rob‘s dance of the end of season 13 literally brought me and my boyfriend to tears. It was so beautiful, he should be very proud! ❤
I have been referred to as the Dennis of my friend group for not having feelings but I wept watching Mac's coming out scene and then watched it two more times immediately after and again cried on the third one. It's truly beautiful and so unexpected and it's such an indescribable experience to get to watch something so true and personal to my own life played out on screen.
Simply existing as a queer person can be exhausting and demoralizing and I have had, multiple times in the years since this episode aired, days when I pulled the scene back up to bask a little in this moment of being seen and understood. I am so grateful for Rob and everyone involved in that dance and scene for putting so much work into it. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for this beautiful organized choreographed dance.
I really hope you guys are eventually 55 years old still making this show lol… never gets old
I've always said that the scene at the end of the beauty pageant where they leave thru the side exit still in their jumpsuits makes me totally picture a Ghostbusters remake starring the cast of Sunny. It would be hysterical and that scene has the exact energy I would picture.
In the rain scene when Mac is dancing with the ballerina, I just want to say that I LOVE the move towards the beginning where Mac holds a plank while she does legwork on/next to him. That was so dope and very impressive. The entire thing was fantastic! If no one knew he wasn’t a dancer I don’t think anyone would be able to tell
Dennis and Mac drunkenly singing "Boys are back in Town" is my favorite dancing moment.
I love that Robs season 13 dance single handedly led to his bromance with Ryan Reynolds. Which led to them buying a sports team together lmao
All the stuff that bugged Rob about his "not getting the spin" and stuff, that played PERFECTLY into the character and made that moment even more impressive. I thought it was choreographed that he did it that way, I had no idea that was a fluke.
All these dances are so funny, macs coming out dance and Frank's reaction is absolutely . Without fail I cry at that seen everytime. I'm welling up just thinking about it. It's one of the most poignant heartfelt moments not just on this show but any show I've ever seen.
Frank's transition from being the worst father to Dennis and dee to actually becoming a man who is trying (at times) has added so much depth to the show and the character.
Mac dancing to song poison when he goes down on Dennis is hilarious as Glenn laughing at end of that scene in the gang dances their ass off episode.
Seeing them enjoy their own creation brings me a new level of joy that I haven't felt since I discovered the show in High School.
🎶 Do not diddle kids, it's no good diddlin' kids🎶
🎶I wouldn't do it with anybody younger than my daughter, not little kids, gotta be big🎶
🎶Older than my wiiiife, older than my daughter🎶
Mac's dance and the power of love by FGTH are two of the most moving and inspirational things I have ever seen or heard
Mac's dance makes me cry every time. I was floored the first time I saw it, and i agree with others, it should have won some award. It is one of the best moments on TV. It was so beautiful, touching and important. One of my favorite dances of all time, great job Rob
Macs turtle neck shuffle is top spot all time. Love this show thanks all the way from New Zealand 🇳🇿
The dance scene from "Mac finds his pride" is unbelievably perfect.. I ugly cry everytime I see it. 😭🖤
34:15 i cried the first time i watched this. I was a dancer for several years and I taught it for years as well and it looked incredible. I thought it was so incredible for Rob to be able to pull this off, *ESPECIALLY BECAUSE IT IS SUNNY*
The best dance is Dee’s inflatable arm flailing tube man dance. Kills me every time 😅
the fact that Glenn was doing diff versions of beat boxing in each sequence was killing me lol the 2nd one in particular
What has my life become? I sit, waiting on a Sunday night until 1am, for my sweet boys, my beautiful 3 boys, to post their podcast. Then we sit around and we laugh together, we smile together. Yet inevitably, as all things do; the podcast comes to an end. My screen fades to black, just as the smile fades from my face. I’m again alone in the dark. Was it all for not? No. Quite the contrary; for I’ll always have the memory of my 3 lovely boys chatting and exchanging pleasantries. Bless you boys, I love you and shall always love this podcast.
You too Megan you’re alright.
You had that shit prepared🤣🤣🤣
@@markydiamond3439 that’s how you know the story is true ): Obsessed with sunny and the pod lmao
WAKE UP!
The week long wait for the next episode isn't fun :(
You mean Cum Town?
just want to add my voice to the overwhelmingly positive reaction to Mac's Pride dance, just rewatched that episode and immediately came here to listen to the discussion again. I can equally love Dennis and Mac going insane in the suburbs or Charlie and Mac beating up kids while still loving this episode and this dance as a true work of art. Forever fan here, keep doing whatever you guys love and I'll keep watching
Season 7 had SO much Organised Choreographed Dance! I can't wait for the guys to get there in their rewatch. Hopefully this means more dancing in S16? (Please!) I often rewatch the music/dance bits from the show with my friends (hello 13:12), so this was such a clever idea for an episode.
First of all, love Mara. Second, you're all great dancers, especially Dennis on drugs. The scene at the HS reunion was hilarious. Rob's water dance though, it gets me every time. So beautifully done and Rob's acting in it, and how it was presented, truly amazing.
I love how this show is one of the few shows I can always go back to and watch over and over so its good to see you guys sitting around and cracking up at the stuff you made just like us
Pod cast continues to be the best part of Monday! Love all the dancing, but especially Rob's interpretative dance. The combo of raw emotion, amazing choreography and excellent music choice makes it one of the most moving pieces of art and television I've witnessed. I openly weep every time I watch it; it's perfectly moving. Great job on another brilliant episode!
I'm so looking forward to when the gang talks "Mac & Charlie Die: pt. 1 + 2"
Absolute favorite story.
I always thought there was a joke baked into Mac's ballet - roughly the same joke as fat Mac. That they would go this far in order to do something extraordinary, and that they can add humor into even the beautiful and serene. My wife and I were living on the island of Paros in Greece over the winter before our wedding. We hired a ballet instructor who only charged us 20 euro/session, 3-4x/week for months while doing weight training. Of course our outcome was nothing like in Sunny, but it WAS good enough that people at our wedding were like, "what the hell? how do they know how to this?!" haha. And it was all a soft homage to Mac's dance and the comedy of surprising people by an unknown skill.
This!!
I really hope that Danny comes on the podcast at some point.
Mac's dance in the rain brought me to tears the first time I saw it. So so good. Danny's face and the 'I get it' line is just incredible x
Mac's interpretive dance performance makes me cry every time. What a beautiful moment.
Omg rob was too funny “you could be lying for attention” hahaha
I can’t wait for the ep of the podcast covering Mac Finds His Pride. It is a masterpiece. I feel like the three of them, particularly Rob, seemed a bit emotional watching the dance, and I’d love a full deep dive into the episode. Love you guys ❤️
Rob’s dance was oddly extremely soothing. He did a great job and it made this podcast come down to Earth it completely changed the tone and Rob was not egotistical.
Exactly what i wanted to hear about that episode
Macs dance and Franks reaction bring literal tears to my eyes no matter how many times I watch it. Truly a beautiful shot
This episode and the Cricket episode couldn’t be any further from each other. Rob talking about dance is deep and thoughtful. Good stuff
im the same age as you guys and love the show, watched it too many times to be healthy. Macs ballet dance is one of only two times the show has brought a tear to my eye. thanks for sharing this with us guys.

Robs dance genuinely shocked me, I didn’t expect anything like this and at first laughed more than I had for many episodes. When his father leaves thats when I start sobbing. there’s such a dramatic tone shift from that pause in the performance. For a season I’d put at the bottom of my list it’s an episode that comes close to the top of all time, almost like the previous episodes in the season were leading up to this finale perfectly as to be honest my expectations for the show started to fall. because that season wasn’t great i was never expecting this. Worth the wait. Will go down as one of the best episodes of tv for me, what it does with expectations and audience is just godly
I’ve only cried at two things in my life:
The loss of my unborn son
And Robs coming out dance.
Beautiful.
16:55 When I first watched this episode and Kaitlin threw out the “VUHHHH-Gina!” I laughed so hard. So unexpected
"Cause you are the Greenman!" I think we need to remember the first time you see Greenman in action he was dancing with the McPoyle clan.
I am glad that Megan recommended watching this instead of listening - I would have had no idea what was going on and missed out on one of the better podcast episodes.
im so happy they gave fat mac’s jolly dance so much attention
Hopefully one of the upcoming podcasts is about singing/songs.
What I love about this podcast is the ability to have a discussion about what is essentially ballet and weave in Joc’ “It’s goin down” in a way that’s hilarious.
This has been my favorite podcast episode so far. I’m laughing out loud with my coffee in hand! Thanks!
Robs coming out dance was so beautiful so emotional 😢💜💜💜
That final dance Mac does in prison, is so emotional. I will say I love sunny from beginning to end but there is always the case where a show and our own humor changes, so we don’t always laugh as hard at our favorite shows that have aged, but we will always remember how they made us feel. Sunny hit us with such a powerful and emotional moment from a place you wouldn’t expect it, and I will always remember that moment of watching it.
The dance scene in Mac finds his pride made me weep openly. Such a powerful scene, added infinitely more dimension to his character, I can imagen how many people relate to macs inner conflict and seeing it so beautifully portrayed is amazing
You can see how much Rob loves and appreciates Kaitlin when he watches her talent show performance. Also, that is a top Dee moment for me.
Best episode yet!! BUT… I’m getting nervous with the abandonment of single episodes into more broad topics because some amazing eps you haven’t gotten to yet and they deserve their own! Lol but mostly it’s just because I want more and more of you guys doing this! 😻😽😹
Mac's dance hit me so hard, I wasn't expecting that episode to get so deep but I was crying by the end. It is such a beautiful moment and I'm so glad they took it seriously and that Rob put his whole heart into it. It will always make me cry, you guys are such amazing people. Wishing the beat for you guys ♥️
What a wholesome final 40 seconds of the episode 💕 ( 51:54 )
Was already cackling, then Charlie put his hood on 💀
I love that they have almost wholly avoided The Nightman Cometh and we know it's because they are sick to death of it.
Rob's dance in Mac finds his pride is fucking incredible, I never expected this show to hit a chord like it did in that one.
Rob’s dance always brings a tear to my eye. An actual beautiful moment in this great series. I will never forget watching that episode for the first time.
I am SO HERE for Mara's vibe, what a lovely addition to the on-camera crew!
Charlie dancing high with Dennis and anything with Charlie singing is the best ever. I love after the little boy dance yall said “someone should’ve had a shirt on, the kids made it weird” and when charlie tells the little girls they suck and he wants better performances LOL This show is top tier
I remember I actually teared up a little bit the first time I saw Rob's dance. It was really amazing and so beautifully shot.
