Over the past 20 years I've made plenty of money on just spreading salt. I'd get away from bagged salt and go to bulk salt with in bed spreaders. Then look for more no tolerance accounts.
I hade one bulk spreader. Was a snow way. Wasn’t impressed with it at all. I am thinking about buying a boss one next season for my flat bed. I have even thought about setting one truck up with just a big brine sprayer. Only reason I’m still using tailgate spreaders is simply we don’t get much. And I need to build a place to have bulk. There’s no where withing hr prob of me that Carry’s bulk salt. So i would also have to store it. But I’m sure the savings would be well worth it
