Agreed. The gearbox is different from the Laguna 2 although both are 6 gears. The result in Laguna 3 is higher RPM and worse fule economy. Can't understand that choice. I usually don't even use the third or fifth gear, it works fine to just go to four and then six. Weird box.

slow as a 90's 1.6 enine car. The sound and elasticity of this engine is awful .All together ....design is nice, but the chasis is bad , handling is embarrassing , and the engine is smooth as a drill .
I own a laguna 3 2L 140hp from 2012. One piece of advice for any laguna user since i had but one little trouble with this model (otherwise it's a perfect all-rounded car). You might burn sensors from the motor if using ethanol (this version of lag is flexfuel) since those ones are rather weak and you'll get different types of electronical issues. But it's rather cheap to replace

Пришло время вскрывать мотор, так как начала брать антифриз (пробило прокладку). Вскрытие показало - причина жора масла это запавшые в двух цилиндрах маслосемные кольца. Запали потому что закоксовались (наверно масло подделку лил). Все остальное по мотору в идеале, еще заводской хон на цилиндрах, вкладыши коленвала и кольца в идеальном состоянии. По работе: замена сцепления, шлифовка головки, плоскости блока, замена всех сальников и прокладок, замена термостатов. Стоимость запчастей около 1000$. Стоимость работ -около 800$

by 130kmh the rpm is 4000? Hyundai i20 make this only 3600rpm and that is just 1250ccm and only 75hp and 5 gang manual.

Underrated car, the second generation Laguna had a lot of problems, but the built quality of this third generation is actually really good.
Even the second generation wasn't that bad if you got a late model. It wasn't uber reliable, true, but it also wasn't a "tow truck queen"
Laguna II is the nice car , too.
Try the first generation. It's such fun to drive

У меня Laguna 3 2,0 без турбо. После пробега 200 000 км. Двигатель начал сильно брать масло. Около 1литра на 500 км. Кто то сталкивплся с подобным?
