Love watching your videos, always so informational and fun. Looking forward to your Caribbean series!
Love your channel - especially the videos on your experiences in Portugal. I just wanted to encourage you guys to continue those as you do your Caribbean extravaganza! For many, who are not honeymooners or have been there/done that resort thing, the recent topics don’t hold the same interest as some of your more diversified videos. Regardless of content, keep up the good work, guys!
Hi Kristen, Thank you for the encouragement! We will probably have Caribbean content through April, then we will see where we go from there.
Carryons! Wow! The fact that it’s less close and lighter clothes… that will help! Good luck Michelle 😉
Martinique!! 🏖
Just take a look at Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Cheap, nice European resorts, all-inclusive!! And oh, I was about to forget to mention, they have the BEST mangos in the whole world!! When we went there, some years ago, my kids didn't want to eat their meals, just mangos !!
And direct flights from Madrid!
Aruba on your list? 🇦🇼 see you there! 😎
So excited for you guys! Looking forward to seeing the content. 🥳 - Josh & Kalie
Excited about the new content! Our guess is your first island is St. Lucia. 😃 Looking forward to beautiful anniversary ❤️ destinations for ourselves! Cheers, Doug and Monique
St Lucia was my first thought too!
You’ve gotta visit Anse Chastanet and Jade Mountain in St Lucia!
Thank you! We have 2 nights left where we will be in St Lucia and need to find accommodations.
How Fabulous! 😎 👊!!!!!! Can't wait to follow along. Huge fan of Cayman Islands and Stingray City myself!!! ❤️
Can’t wait to follow along!! 😍😍😍
Woo so much fun ahead!!
Nice! Love your hair Michelle 😊
Amazing, congrats🎊 I’ve been traveling carry on only since my destination honeymoon 12yrs ago so it’s totally doable!
Wonderful, congratulations!
So what happened to Portugal?
Yes! Carry ons only. Rick Steves would be proud.
Fun! We honeymooned in the Caribbean (26 years ago 😱) and have been back several times since. Our favorites over the years were Aruba, St. Lucia, Curaçao, and Puerto Rico with honorable mention to Trinidad & Tobago. We’re relocating to Portugal in another month or so (waiting on the Visa) so excited to see ALL your upcoming content (loved the Greece videos btw). Thanks for great content! 🌹
That's exciting! Tell me about Trinidad & Tobago, any recommendations? A lot of island to island flights connect there.
Sounds like fun and good for you for doubling-down on your brand! Your clients will appreciate getting the first-hand scoop from you 😀
Is this surprise the one you were discussing on Expats Everywhere?
Yes it is! :)
😁
My husband and I are former travel agents and we love the British Virgin Islands, especially Virgin Gorda, St John in the US Virgin Islands, St Kitts, Antigua and Grenada!! So excited for you this will be great to watch!
Can't wait ☺️💚❤️
Just returned from Key West, Freeport( went there on honeymoon 42 years ago), Half Moon Cay, Nassau on the Carnival Dream. Great trip Beautiful beaches Half Moon Cay was most amazing of all !
Puerto Rico?
Oh thank god - you're just going on some Caribbean trips. Thought you were preggers and this was going to turn into a baby channel ugh. What a relief!
🤣🤣🤣
Resorts sound good, I'm right here in Florida but my hubby gets seasick! 🤢 No cruises for me lately!
We went on a Caribbean cruise out of Galveston and the seas were very tame in February, barely felt it moving.
"Is the food any good?" Dan here with the important content.,
Hello!
Thank you for sharing ❤️
Greetings from a Portuguese 😃
Obrigado!
@@HoneymoonAlways thank you
Scuba diving and higher end not the all inclusive resorts Grand Cayman. Diving much cheaper on a budget Honduras.
Carry on to the islands is a breeze. Nothing to it.
Hi Larry, the good thing about the islands is we need fewer clothes than usual, but we are going to need a lot of sunscreens so checking a bag would be helpful there. Also, Michelle has different liquids in her makeup bag so she has had to be creative in how to cut that back. For a short trip, not a problem, but for a 6 week trip it gets tricky.
I also saw you had another comment, but I couldn't find it. but it said, "I think better information would be how to visit and immerse yourself in the local culture. Small romantic boutique hotels, local restaurants, tours, etc." We totally agree, but our hope for this content is to inspire the majority of Americans who do not own a passport to travel so we are going to keep it very accessible, adding in local tours and culture when we can. The other limitation is in order to afford this we need to partner with resorts and the small boutique hotels do not have the capacity to do that, especially in this year of revenge travel.
@@HoneymoonAlways I understand there are some really great resorts throughout the Caribbean. I've been to many and never have failed to not have a great time. It's awesome to get treated like a king and a queen. You'll certainly see a different amount of attention from the wait staff than you do in a European restaurant. Haha
I deleted that comment because after reading the entire thing I felt some may have read it and misinterpreted what I meant.
It will be a great adventure for you 2 and I'm looking forward to following along. I hope you inspire many to get their passports and go explore the world. Spend your money on experiences not things.
@@Larry-jh8gf Thank you! I appreciated both your comments and thought the other one raised some good points too.
How exciting! We took our honeymoon in 2010 on Jamaica! We did an all-inclusive and it was pretty nice. We even did an excursion to some manmade waterfalls, made friends in the resort and ate well. The one thing I didn't realize is some of the resort restaurants had dress codes and you needed reservations. Have a fantastic trip!
Hello, I'm from Jukin Media, an LA-based media company. We saw your video
and we hope to share it with our 200 million fans & potentially license it to our 600+ Clients! Please let us know if you're interested.
Urgh - not for me. But good luck.
Thank you! We’ll have some expat content mixes in too for you…
😱, guys!! Not the Caribbean!! They’ve got roaches the size of friggin’ cows!! 😰
Ok, seriously, that’s great news! I’ve never been there, so I can’t really offer any meaningful advice other than “enjoy!” 😁
Obrigado Paulo!
