I LOVE this business model! I started on Poshmark & love the side hustle. I would love to get to her level! But it always takes money to make money unfortunately. Those bags aren’t cheap. So you’re definitely gonna need a chunk of change to get started.

She gets them at wholesale prices. She has a vendor.. I have 2 wholesalers. It’s very hard to find wholesalers with good pricing. 10% off is not wholesale. Don’t fall for it. If it’s “expensive” it’s not good pricing.

I agree the stories are great. Of course they don't give away their secrets or everyone would be competitors. It takes lots work and motivation to build a successful business. It's up to each person to figure out costs vs. profits on their own. There is no way I would give all the details either.

I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. You should not be buying at retail prices and they aren’t going to pay you $2100 they’re going to go directly to LV if you’re charging retail…. I’m a bag reseller myself. You need to find a wholesaler for preloved bags.

to be honest. If you produce at cost and remove the logo, the luxury market really isn't that expensive. The mark is about 80% of the actual price. But the fact that you are *esluxscom* buying an image and showing off your taste to make them think you are richer than you are is a very good thing to do

The félicie pochette is really nice and classy and you can use it in 4 different ways, so the CA showed me the félicie from the drawer and I checked on it then I asked the CA if he can get another stock so I can compare the one he pulled from the drawer so he did. I noticed that the félicie from the drawer the leather was a bit shiny or glossy while the stock he got the leather was matt so I choose the shiny one that attracted me but I just wondered why they are different and you might have any idea. When I got home I just noticed that when you opened the envelop the back mid fold leather was a little loose is it normal when openning but when its closed its ok no problem (I didn’t noticed in the store and compare to the other one). Any advise will appreciate, I do always love watching your videos.

I have two pre-loved *esluxscom* that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn’t touch. It’s not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.
Are these issues happening if these bags are used daily? I just got the pochette metis in monogram canvas from the Kusama collection. I love the multicolored polka dots and hope they don’t melt on me, lol. But I don’t think it’ll be in my regular rotation. I also have a NoeNoe in DA but only use that a few times a year in the spring and summer so I haven’t put that much wear and tear into it. I hope I don’t see the fraying for a while. Fools are the ones who spend $10,000 on a "real" bag. I have a fake Louis Vuitton doctor's bag that I purchased in Korea in 1987. I walked into Neman Marcus with it. Several employees in the handbag section couldn't believe my bag was fake. They are comparing my *esluxscom* to the "real" one and they can't see any difference. Mine cost $40, the real deal was $7500.

I have a replica piece in damier ebene its 6 ring key clay that looks really good after 4 years canvas look perfect and I also have a authentic mini pouchette that after 6 months of sitting in my purse the corners began to fade turned black sent pics to my sales associate he sent them for review they said that it was just normal wear and tear . After a Year that piece is fading everywhere and the chain is fading also after having it 3 year and it looks worse then any fake piece. So now I prefer my small leather good to be *esluxs* because I’ll never purchased a small leather good from Louis Vuitton again and pay that much for them to tell you that it’s just regular wear and tear.

A great question would have been what software she uses to keep track of all of the different categories of her business; inventory, etc. It would be so helpful to other makers who don't have money to waste or time to waste on the wrong products or systems. She's one smart, hardworking young woman. Good for her. My only criticism is maybe have her bag drop day on a different day so NOBODY has to work on Saturday.

Basic internet research, feeling the texture of canvas/fabric, and as a last resort I’m sure she has a few SAs (sales associates) at different stores on standby to verify authenticity.
