Definitely made the right choice on the flex blue and pigment load, I think experimenting with different base colours is the way to go big 5 from me

In a way, I'm kinda surprised that this hasn't already been a thing... Even going as far as putting the speed shapes at the end of the video to then be voted on for a week, and then posting the video of that particular vote result the following week. Yeah, it'd be a 2 week cycle from initially seeing the options to being a full video thereof, but it'd raise viewer interaction and possibly interest as well.

Do a life saver striped style 6 colour base on the car then spray it that would be something different a bit of work but think it would be good.

Absolutely OBSESSED with this format of using the speed shapes. I think it'll help much later down the line so a project will never feel like a complete bust by having a mini preview to make better educated guesses.

Hands down one of the most dynamic color shifts you guys have done. That stuff is insane. Kinda wondering what it would look like over a brown base. Blue was the move, though. Looks absolutely incredible!!! Glad you guys are playing with more bases to find better/ different final products!!

That looks fantastic. I definitely like the new format. One thing I have always wondered when you do your pearl-pearl or pearl-base mix is what the pearls by themselves look like sprayed. These speed shapes allow us to see them on their own and try to predict what will happen and see if we're right. Then at the end when you ask "What should/could we have done different?" we have a better idea of what to suggest. Definitely keep this format.
The RANGE of CHANGE is amazing. Using the speed shapes to test is a game changer.

I really like showing the new shifts on all the speed shapes in the main colors. Hope it's something you continue to do as it let's us see. It gives us much more information in a vid about a particular shift and how it works with color.

Okay I can admit when I’m wrong. Gunmetal was my first choice with blue as the second, but I do NOT regret you guys using the blue base!

There are so many times when I watch your videos that I wished I saw the flake over a different color. Having the speed shapes at the beginning is awesome to curb that curiosity, and the end result was amazing!
its almost like you read my comment on the last video about base colors. Total game changer. Would not have been impressed with the color if sprayed on your typical black base (I still think the white scaled up would look good) but this blue base is absolutely stunning. I would recommend this format moving forward.
They have done hypershift over white large scale. It just looks like a factory white pearl paint job with a hint more color.
The White had weird cobweb crack lines forming on it where the coats overlapped, especially here 1:18 you can see in the dip of the curve. It would not have looked good scaled up.

5/5, Absolutely incredible, easily one of the best coats you all have ever done on the channel. I want everything in my home to be covered in this. The only thing that could be improved is I wish the base blew didn't come through quite as much, it's SO close to being truly iridescent with no one obvious dominant color. If the shift could be a bit more intense so the base blue "blends in" more, or the base color itself was a hue gradient or had a slight color shift to it, then it'd be 6/5, literal perfection

Definitely a 5! I love how you showed how it looked on the forms and then chose which color looked the best. When you showed the results, I gasped and got chills. I love this so much. This is one of only a couple of cars that the finish gave me chills.

Looks amazing on the blue! Btw when I've asked for split down the middle on a car I've always suggested it being 2 different colors than white and black. Like Blue and Red, or Green and Orange or something like that.

Testing the bases like that first is THE way to go, I love that format. Also,, 5/5 that's awesome how the blue is clearly there but the hypershift is an incredible accent in every way.

Man, that's a sleeper! I was expecting it to be more subtle, but it hits your eyes at just the right moment while showcasing the original color of the car depending on the shadows. Really cool!

This is my favorite color and shift so far! I love the new format of testing to get an idea on what it could be. It’s still fun seeing the mystery stuff with the mad scientist but this result is incredible.

The new format, as I was one of likely many to suggest it after last week’s fiasco, love it.
Spraying a color palette of speed forms before committing to spraying a whole car will help all of us learn what will and won’t work far more efficiently; and Spare our eyes the suffering of looking at a disaster like last week’s project.
Pretty sick. I like the mimi-demo with the speed shapes. It let's you avoid combos that just won't work, while at the same time gives us an idea of what other combos might look like in case someone prefers something else.
Really liked that you showed the color du jour on different base coats. It really highlights the different possibilities.

5 pigment load perfect for max effect! You see all the colors the hyper shift has to offer and the base bleeds through great! I also noticed the white sample looked more mother of pearl then the mother of pearl in did in on of your recent videos! If you were looking for that mother of pearl look, this over white is definitely the way to go!

This is an 11/5! I think this might actually be my favorite combination that I've seen on this channel so far. I'm absolutely in love with the new flaky holo that you've just gotten a well. I think it would be really fun to play with the hypershifts and holos together, but not as just one overall coat; instead, do some accents of holo (stripes or something) over an overall coat of hypershift, or something like that.

that is absolutely stunning, i love how it took plain flex blue to a slightly deeper shade and then the interplay of all the colors makes it so amazing. I also loved being able to see how it looked on all the tests. Great job!!

I would love to see this format stick around for future videos. To make it easier on you, I'd suggest spraying a bulk number of speed shapes in each color, then every week spray one of each with the pearl of the week and pick one to go full scale.
