Beauty of an ehorse and dig the sand dune color! Covered some good topics and feel the happy it brings you. Its such an amazing machine. Good to know it can make it up good ol' Priest Grade! Did you go back down same way to check regen? Should film that climb or decent omg! Was thinking of taking the FiX down to Lums. bridge past Groveland see if its open yet. Area looks amazing will check some other vids. Will be cool to see more of Groveland area, kinda similar to VS.
Yes it makes it up and down old priest grade easily while making lots of energy on descent. Another descent and climb I do is Marshes Flat road connecting to 49 by Moccasin, it’s equal to old priest. I have done videos of old priest I’ll see if they’re still on my GoPro. Thought it was kinda of boring....lol. I guess it would be good content for local FX riders.
Hey when installing the rear rack did you do anything to the covers or anything? I got an fxs they seem pretty similar but I been doing my search zero does have a install guide for it even though it's easy but what I'm trying to say is the plastic cover on mine don't seem to have a notch/whole where the rack bars come out if that make sense I might have to cut mine
Do you find the riding trails extend the range, in ECO Mode? I find it is similar to urban riding (in terms of range). Did you swap to the chain immediately or wait for the belt to fail?
Yes, I compare trail riding to urban setting. I’m 60, the range on this exceeds my physical limits and I’m usually home relaxing after several hours on trails and roads with plenty of battery leftover. I found myself doing lots of local trails in my area (literally my backyard) and didn’t want to chance breaking the belt so changed to chain around 500-600 miles. It’s definitely confidence inspiring having the chain drive.
I too am wondering specifically how the chain helps. I know it may be more durable off road but does it affect performance in some way? I just test drove one and love it but don’t want to add mods if I don’t have to as I will be broke after I buy it!
Wow. This is a really good, non biased review. The battery heat aspect is good to know. I'm in VA.
Thanks for the informative video, Tell me why the chain helped for offroad.
Thank you.
Great video!

Depending on where you’re riding from, I would ride down the Lumsden canyon on less then a 3/4 charge.
Shortly after this video I updated my FX firmware to version 35 on the MBB and version 42 on the BMS. Seems to be working well.
Do u have to pay for upgrade features ? I heard so on UA-cam but I don’t see this on the site. The one I’m looking to buy is the 2020 fx

@@oceantri Is the chain as noisy as they say? My dealer actually discourage the swap.
