Got the FXE in January and couldn't be happier now after 4300km. Your FXS review had a huge impact on my decision. I always wanted it but the small Halogen lights and the long tail were kinda dealbreakers (for the price). The FXE finally ticked ALL my boxes. Keep on the good work!

Get the chain kit instead of running it on a belt system…. You will get the full power torque! Wheelie at 60 mph!

I also prefer the FXE as it looks nicer and looks more modern. Superb channel. 👍🏽

Being a bit shorter, I'd possibly choose the SM version, I'd not really be able to enjoy their ability off road green laning with where I live that easily with any variety in green lanes, so it'd make sense for me to have better road manors as well as the lower seat.

before i watch, I bought a used S. Always wanted a dual sport even thought probably never use. Called on a used one was getting fixed. A used S came in so i bought it. It is getting fixed so dealer loaned me an FXE. It's awesome, i hope i still like my bike when get it back. Same dealer has a used FXS now

Picked up my FXE in Paris last week. It's incredible. Never thought I'd prefer it to all my past petrol bikes for commuting. It's so fast up to legal speeds that you leave all sports bikes for dust at traffic lights, it's handling is perfect, it filters so easily and it's comfortable, great brakes, so light. Very relaxing and great fun to ride. Didn't like the Scorpions on my Fantic 500 and not sure I'd like them on a 135kg bike with 106nm of torque with no traction control😂😂 Haven't tried the others but would really recommend the FXE.

How is the FXE compared to the Caballero 500? I'm on the market for something light and nimble mainly for town riding to and back from work. Both bikes are on my list, but I'm still afraid to bite the bullet and go for electric :)

    • @tonydare7614

@@sucker4o quite honestly the Caballero is not in the same class. It loses in every area except looks, and obviously sound if you like the mono sound. Otherwise the FXE is much faster, better handling, brakes, more comfortable, lighter, better turning circle. It's a no brainer for me if you can afford the difference. I'd never go back! Try and test the Zero...

@@tonydare7614 Great to hear! Thanks for your prompt reply. I would give it a try for sure. Do you think being a 6 feet tall (185cm) would make me to cramped on the bike, though it looks ok with seat height around 840mm? Anyway I will arange the test ride very soon. 😊

Love my FXE for urban and suburban riding on pavement, but it does struggle to run straight on heavily graveled back roads. Haven't thought of the handling as "heavy" (described in the video), but seems more like "steady" and controllable to me.

@@NEVETSTEVEN510 To me "hooligan" means wheelies and so on, in that context none of them. Electrics are not something you want to try and wheelie due to the way the power is delivered you do not have that same level of control on the throttle. So looking at it from a more just ripping, around go anywhere, then the FX full power, in the dirt bike style bikes. If you mean from anything even road orientated. Then I would say the Zero SR-F. Here is my review on it but know I have 4-5 other videos on it looking in more depth at different aspects and uses of the bike ua-cam.com/video/fsnZgKdpiXs/v-deo.html

no dont do it .get a petrol bike ,be a friend to the planet and your pocket How much co2 did it that to build that bike ? alot lot more then the petrol bike ,what will you do with the highly TOXIC battery that you can NOT recycle , its not a lead zinc that can be recycled How many miles will you get out of the Lithium battery in total of its life ? you will produce more co2 then you would with a petrol bike ,more then a super bike .remember the electricity is also from burning gas, coal , oil, and TREES , only 1.8% is from wind and solar, world wide dont be part of the CON

Lead is neurotoxic, and lithium batteries can be recycled because employing a different chemistry- a lead battery is dead and can not be bring back to life because lead becoming a sulfur-salt. On the other hand lithium batteries tend to loose charge faster getting old but they never get to the point where you can no longer use them. And besides, EV have 2000 moving parts compared to ICE which got 20k, so the ICE impact way more on the environment. Sometimes is helpful googling before commenting, and have some sense of critic - EV aren’t perfect either but still better than keep burning
