  • The Tunisian Puff stitch is worked up as a unit of 4 +1 and creates this beautiful, almost hairpin lace effect that is a unique way to create a puff stitch V design. It is also perfect for edging and straps, and this month, for HappyBerry Member+ members I have designed a Water Bottle Holder using this beautiful stitch, which you can find here: www.happyberry...
In Stitch Study Monthly, every month I will be sharing a new stitch for you to try. Some you may recognise, some may be completely new to you, but I hope you enjoy crocheting and learning along with me.

A clump of loops is the perfect term! I love this stitch so much; it's so beautiful! Excellent tutorial, as always. Very well explained. I love your shirt btw, it's so cute, and I want one! 😀

Wow, beautiful and this couldn't be easier. One question, would this be too heavy for a blanket?

I don't think so, it feels quite a light stitch, if worried you could try a very light yarn with a bigger hook to make it drapey

This stitch looks really nice. I want to make a baby blanket but how would you fit all those loops on the hook for a blanket? Like if you have 154 chains would that fit on the hook?

You'd need an extendable Tunisian crochet hook

My wife loves this one. It’s giving her loads of pleasure. She wants to make one as a gift but the blanket seems to go wonky the further down she gets. Is she doing something wrong? How can she fix this if she is?

This stitch naturally tends to do this after a while, I've tried to experiment to stop it but I've not found a solution yet. It could be it's charm though

Hello Laura, how long have you been doing these stitch studies? I like these, but I'd like them even more if I ever got the chance to practice them. Not your fault young lady, I just get a lot of interruptions on my end. Anyway, thanks for sharing your time and talent. I've never seen anyone else that makes it so easy to understand. Take care and God bless you and yours. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas

Where can I find that hook? I have looked at craft stores and Amazon and cannot find one. I have the one with the cord attached but not crazy about it. Thanks
