That's the side of his family with the TV showed you. While I believe he was wrongfully convicted in his innocent, remember that he had a history of drug dealing, and his sister was about to be convicted of something that's why they had leverage over her kids. This was a family at the time of his conviction that had a criminal history. Don't be fooled by one-sided TV presentation.
She put the former prosecutor on the spot 🤣 he was studdering & all!! What a load of crap that's coming out of his mouth! 🤢 "She lived in the same neighborhood as me, so she can't be guilty"....has to be the black guy! Shame shame shame. How do you live with that?! His first defense when proved wrong, was to talk down on this man's WHOLE family. Disgusting. 👎🏼 Also, all them years was NOT nice to Kim 🤣 karma girl, karma!
I am in disbelief! These are people who have power to end someone else’s life yet they have this kind of mindset? Unbelievable and they should be disbarred
Kim did it and the prosecutor knows that..ppl tend to forget that u reap what u sow and if it doesn't fall on u,it can fall on your kids, parents, spouses and other family members..this is so heartbreaking..I pray he keeps his faith in God..
Most people have absolutely no idea how easy it is to be wrongly accused & convicted. And few people realize the massive discrepancy in funding for prosecutors vs public defenders. There are also a lot of unscrupulous prosecutors whose primary concern is “winning” & putting someone away. Those are elected positions & many want to appear “tough on crime” so they simply want to close the case. The actual guilt of the accused is inconsequential. Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of dirtbags in prison who are guilty but few realize there are innocent people rotting away. And another huge issue is how many people are MASSIVELY overcharged & this is often based on race. It’s frustrating people are so blind to the systemic injustice.
@@jimwertherI wont reveal personal details of any kind on this platform but let me assure you, I see this injustice from a professional level, every single day. It absolutely happens & it’s rampant.
This man is obviously innocent. This Kim woman has no emotions explaining what happened that night and her story sounds like total BS. Many innocent people have been sent to jail and put to death.
OMG, this is pissing me off. There was overwhelming evidence it was her. The Prosecutors only explanation for her not being a suspect is "Well, she lived in my neighborhood"!!!!!!??????
The prosecutor’s use of the language “those people” when talking about the man’s family show us exactly why he made sure an innocent black man was convicted.
I pray he stays out and that the state pays him for years of his life stolen from him. You can see the innocence in his eyes. Love and prayers to him and his family ❤

@@houiemdandani81 I looked up the recent updates and unfortunately his appeal has been denied. So he is sent back to prison for the rest of his life. My heart breaks for this man.
I can’t stand to watch stuff like this sometimes. They took this man’s life. And to think there are probably thousands more that are in prison rotting for something they didn’t do. It’s heartbreaking to say the least.
Especially in Florida. Florida still has some of the most racist towns in in the country until this day. Just like Alabama. Things like this makes me think of the movies "Life" and "The Green Mile".
This man, Crosley Green, has been through enough. Not only should the court of appeals FULLY free him, the state of Florida, the county of Brevard & the city of Titusville should ALL be held accountable for his 32 YEARS of false imprisonment. Kim Haddock should be charged with perjury although to see the glimpse we've seen of her, she's definitely not living her best life but how could she when it's based in lies. Prayers of hope, strength & faith go out to Papa Green & his large Family for his full life of freedom. What's done in the dark will ALWAYS come to truth in the light ~ 🕊🙏🕊
Didn’t expect this story to bring me to tears!! The prosecutor makes me sick to my stomach. How can you see a dark black man at midnight and point him out? Why didn’t you shoot him with chip’s gun? How did he walk out the park and drive out the park at the same time? WTF were you doing for an hour? His dad even wants to know why he was with you! Like how did he get convicted? Rhetorical question 🤬
I can't believe the prosecutor used the argument "she lived in the same neighborhood as I did" as an explanation to why the ex-girlfriend was not properly investigated.
"I cannot believe, she did it, being from my neighbourhood" speaks volumes about his doing and probably many others of his cases went in a similar manner. Framing innocent, conveniently present people. Phew
I can’t tell you how much this sickens me to see an innocent person go to prison behind someone else’s lies. She is sickening 😡😡 The prosecutor is arrogant and doesn’t seem like he cares at all that an innocent man went to prison he is the worst of the worst
The prosecutor is arrogant and won't admit he was wrong, also he can't give direct eye contact which speaks volumes to me. I believe she's a liar the truth never changes unlike her story.
And he was sentenced to death. Imagine if they hadn’t of save him? How many ppl who put him in there would have mourned his death or even apologized for it? Disgusting. And just imagine how many more are rotting in jail on false charges because they were railroaded by a police department trying to close a case and a prosecutor who was overzealous and uncaring about finding the real murderer. Disgusting that this is allowed to happen.
That prosecuted full of it! I’m glad the police officers did their due diligence in letting him know their concerns. I’m also glad they stated they will testify for the defense of it came to it.
How does this prosecutor still have a damn job!? Its sickening how many of these sob's are still in authority nationwide!!!! Im very glad that mr. Green is home! Surely, the state will drop these charges .... Much love to mr. Green♥️
I am from Germany and I watch 48 hours on UA-cam. I love 48 hours and the intro is epic. Eventhough I do not understand every single word, I can follow the stories very good. In this episode Erin Moriarty is absolutely wonderful!!
As someone who's loved one was up against the State of Florida - I can whole heartedly promise you that this man is indeed 100% innocent! The State of Florida is like dealing with a spoiled little child who has to win especially when they are losing.. Florida's justice system is PATHETIC to say the least. I pray this man recieves all the justice he and his loved ones deserve.
It breaks my heart to know AN ERROR WAS NEEDED to save an innocent man from DEATH. I hope this man gets some justice, my heart goes out to him and his fsmily
There was one guy who was innocent, and got cancer during his time in prison. When they finally released him, he was given $20 and a gift card. If I'm not mistaken he died not long after he got his freedom. There are some states that won't even allow citizens to file a lawsuit for having their freedom taken away and unfairly prosecuted.
Our "judicial system" is not only unjust. It is discriminatory and continues to be a lucrative business for those taking advantage of these poor people.
Let's give some credit for things getting better tho. At least he's finally out of prison. And I DO believe that these types of injustices are rarer nowadays than 30 years ago.
Prisons are a big business. They profit off of inmates so there is little incentive to change the system. It’s despicable. Few people know about things like the exorbitant rates charged for phone calls & the myriad other things these institutions monetize for their own enrichment.
The prosecutor admitted that he grew up in the same neighborhood as the ex girlfriend. That was why he knew she didn’t do it. No one from his neighborhood could do something like that. He never should’ve been allowed on the case. Just shameful!
If a case can be won based on pure circumstantial evidence as they say (and they did to this man) and do all the time, then they can go after Kim. She did it! So far she is living her best life and it’s gross! Or she had someone come and do it, and that’s the footprints.
It is unbelievable mr. Green was on death row at one stage on such flimsy evidence. I wish him a very long, happy and most of all free rest of his life.
Thank you 48 Hours for not cutting out the parts where Crosley and his family were praying and thanking Jesus for his freedom. It is awesome to see that not cut out, as it usually is. I pray that the mighty hand of God will move to bring justice in this case and that the rest of Crosley's days will be spent in freedom, true freedom, which is only found in Jesus Christ.
The worst part of this case, is the ex-gf took two lives that night and is walking around free! She needs to be locked up! She could have said at trial, that she wasn't sure if he was the same guy, which would have kept him out of prison, but she kept up the lie! Disgusting!
I am crying watching this episode…..I am crying for an innocent man whom could be any of us…..30 seconds in jail sound too long for me already….30 years ….OMG…God bless u Sir….Hope u get justice that u deserve
I admire your heart and your faith crosley. Keep holding on and never lose faith. God walks with you, you will soon have your sweet freedom. Bless you and your family.
I've been in jail before and it sucks, bad!! I can't even imagine being locked up for something I didn't do. Having had prior experience being in jail, especially back when I was, which was in 2008. Anyone who has ever been in jail, it's so hard to do anything in jail as far as contacting the outside. And if you really have no one on the outside to help you, it's basically impossible.
that prosecutor...who knows how many more innocent people behind bars because of him, certainly he`s not the only one from what i see.even if he done it there`s not sufficient evidence to link&convict him!
Really good point! There may be many cases he treated in the same lazy, callous, prejudiced way. What he did is manipulate the facts to feel powerful and a man, maybe several, suffered for it.
It always amazes me how in stories like this detectives & prosecutors will stand by the original conviction in face of any & all opposing evidence presented to them. They just refuse to consider the fact that they may be wrong.

I am in disbelief! These are people who have power to end someone else’s life yet they have this kind of mindset? Unbelievable and they should be disbarred

I hate that he has a GPS on but I’m glad he’s at home.
We’ve put ppl to death who were innocent as well
Most people have absolutely no idea how easy it is to be wrongly accused & convicted.

I really hope so but who knows when all of this will end.
Yeah, nobody's talking about this part!!! He certainly qualifies. They're DEMONS! WYP!!!.

Our "judicial system" is not only unjust. It is discriminatory and continues to be a lucrative business for those taking advantage of these poor people.

Absofuckinlutely 💯!!!!!!!
It's the best "justice" money can buy! If you don't have money and power, they lock you up in a flash!
The prosecutor had the nerve to say those people what that tell you racism at it's best
The prosecutor admitted that he grew up in the same neighborhood as the ex girlfriend. That was why he knew she didn’t do it. No one from his neighborhood could do something like that. He never should’ve been allowed on the case. Just shameful!
He is taking sides with the girl… soon what they did we eat them up
He probably had a friend relationship with her parents
If a case can be won based on pure circumstantial evidence as they say (and they did to this man) and do all the time, then they can go after Kim. She did it! So far she is living her best life and it’s gross! Or she had someone come and do it, and that’s the footprints.
Agree so much.
