My goodness! Every other UA-cam channel is either painfully slow with no time lapse, or they skip all the important stuff. This is amazing
Thanks.
@@BroncosandPartsGaragethank you. p.s .
I recognize the Pacific green, what is the gold color called?
Guys-- THANKS!! This is EXACTLY what I needed. After 37 years I decided to work on the windows of my green 1989 bronco-- kinda like yours in the video! Both window motor plastic assemblies were toast, and I decided to limit the cancer by replacing the window molding too. Thanks! (and thanks to Jeffs Bronco Graveyard for the parts!--ALWAYS the right stuff)
No problem!!!
Tanks so much for putting this video together. I had my old bullnose apart and this really helped!
Glad it helped!
Thanks guys!! Very helpfull!
No problem. I had good help
I've been looking on how the vent window comes out. I didn't know it was that big. Vent windows are one of the best things about Bronco's. The airflow you get with them is awesome. They should put them in every vehicle.
Yes. It’s very simple. 3 screws.
I think the reason why they stopped them were because they were easier to break into or something along the lines of that
Great video man. The rivet trick helped out a lot! I was getting tired of loose window seals.
Fantastic
Always look forward to your videos. Good job!
Thank you. Fun too make!!
These videos are fantastic. Incredibly helpful
Glad you like them!
This is one the next things I plan on tackling on my '95 F350. Thanks for a great video.
Thanks.
Awesome video and information. Thanks for making this.
Thanks. Glad it helped
Straight into the point👍🏼
Thanks. Hope it helps!!
another great video
Thanks
Excellent video!! Thank you for posting it! I watched this first and spent less than an hour on each side getting my door and window seals and sweeps replaced on my 89 Bronco. The tip on riveting the internal sweeps into place was super helpful.
You're very welcome!
Absolutely one of the best how to videos I’ve watched. I like how you just speed it up and don’t go away and come back and have two other things done that you didn’t see you do! Thanks again fellas
Thanks. We try out best
@@BroncosandPartsGarage Hey guys I bought some door overlays for my 95 F150 and I’m wondering if you got a how to video on install?
No predrilled holes for fastening bottom?
Well done and timely because this is at the top of my to-do list. Emphasis on clever insights and neat hacks to overcome common issues tailored to DIYers makes this the go-to instructional video for any Gen 5 owner. Thanks Chris and Bearded Assistant!
Thank you. The bearded assistant. Lol. His name is Jesse. Great mechanic.
Great informative video found your channel by mistake use your channel to install a bumper on my 94 Ford F150 great videos keep them coming guys
Thank you!
Oddly enough...Ford calls those "sweeps"..... Belt mouldings. Great video
Thanks!!
Your the goat for these videos 😂
Found your channel last night, and looking through your video's I realized I saw your vent removal video months ago! I have 3 (yes, three) 9th gen's. I need to be doing a lot of interior and door stuff on them this summer so I'm SUPER looking forward to seeing some content in the near future. I like how your video's get right to the point. I'm pretty mechanically inclined so I can probably figure out most things, but it's nice watching a tutorial first. One is a ultra nice Green/White '97 F350 dually, I have a '92 Red F150 that's "nice enough" to put a little bit of effort into, but will be a winter hauler (also in Michigan), and a '93 F150 that's donating a TON of parts to the other two plus a rainy day bin. This video pertains to my '92 in particular lol. Hoping to see that manual to power conversion video soon! (saw it commented on another video)
Thanks! Videos are a blast to do. I always watch someone else’s video before I do a project because there’s always something new to learn. No matter how simple the task. The manual to power just requires an oem harness we sell and power mirrors!! Please share my channel.
These are so helpful!! I will pick up my “new” 1989 Bronco Eddie Bauer Edition in 12 days. You have provided me such a head start to my project. Thank you! 😊
You are so welcome!
Terrific…just the help I needed
Glad it helped
Top shelf vid, thank you
No problem 👍
Love the Videos I’ve done this one,,but hey you always can learn new tricks 👍🏻👍🏻
I’m still learning too !! Thank you
@@BroncosandPartsGarage Your Channels Really Great Chris and helpful for referencing repair procedures and parts availability for everyone,,, but Jeff’s Broncos Graveyard Site isn’t that easy to get use 🤔 and navigate, guess it’s takes time to get use to it Thanks Chris and keep them coming 🏆
Appreciate the rivet trick! Thanks. I'll be doing this on my 86.
No problem.
I have been watching your videos for quite some time and they have been extremely helpful for my 1990 Bronco XLT. I just finish watching this video and it was a breeze to do my doors, however the vents are being a pain. I wish you could have shown that process. Thanks for all you guys do!
We have a vent video
Hey I’ve got a 1990 bronco xlt
great video. i need to do this, hope it's as easy as it looks, lol
It is. Email any issues.
Thank you, this video was great. I'd never done type of work on any kind of vehicle before. I followed along and did both sides of my F250, easy as heck. Great video, I'm a subscriber now.
Thanks. I had great help making it
Great detail
Thank you!
Thanks Guys!
Our pleasure!
Excellent video, I am currently doing this same project
It’s great. Makes a big difference.
@@BroncosandPartsGarage yes it does, I am super happy with it the truck seems new again
I had never thought of using the dynomat around the outside perimeter under the door panels, I had a bunch of that around so used your idea there
Great video!
Thank you!!!
Your doing great things.
I live in Colombia and restautating a 1994 5.0 XLT Bronco.
I'm doing OK but there are no spare parts available here and also tried to get from the US but mostly they don't ship to Colombia.
My only option is ebay but due to bad experiences I don't want it.
I found your clips here and used them for some things. Thanks.
But now, could you help me and ship to Colombia?
Like your canal, keep on BRONCO-ing. Thank you
Thank you! I can make special Ebay listings for you and allow international shipping. I can’t ship international from ups
Is there any posiblily to get in touch with you by email or whatsapp? I would like to get your suggestion, after I sent a photo. Now the swimmer in the tank seems to malefunction, is there a way to repare it or do I need to get a replacement? Seems you are the only guy on you tube, giving and showing normal ways of fixing issues. Other are completely insane or give tips which are rediculous and dangerous
@@bloomexcolombia2000 my email is in the video description. Click on title and scroll down. Thx
Found it. Thanks
Have ever made a video on a complete dash removal? Sorry I’m being lazy and instead of searching your video’s.
Great video btw!!
Thanks
It’s coming in April
Was going to do this job this weekend, last did it when I bought the truck 15 years ago. I want to pop rivet it, but last time I couldn’t get the door panel installed with the inside sweep in place. I had to remove it and reinstall after the panel was in place. But you made it look easy. Once I rivet it, it’s there for good, so I’ll have to make it happen.
It’ll go in pretty easy
I’ve got an ‘83 down in Puerto Rico with ZERO SEALS or TRIM left & have to say,as much as this project is on my to-do list, it’s amazing the abuse that old glass puts up with! I’m pretty sure 90% of my rattle noise is from all the glass bouncing around inside the doors, but she just keeps on truck’n along while I wait to get my new felt down with me next trip down. Thanks for another good video😀
Thanks!!!!
This was very informative. Could you make a video on how how to Re align a door And how to fix the inside handle. I have replaced my inside driver's side door handle 4 times now because they keep snapping even the metal ones keep snapping
Jeffs bronco graveyard sells the door handle reinforcement brackets for $25. Once installed they eliminate the flex in the body of the door and you’ll never break another handle. I’ve used them. They are fantastic.
Thank you for this video. Just purchased a 93 Bronco and the window seals are like plastic and chipping off now. My driver's side door tint came off when rolling up the window today and I'm wondering if it rubbed against the trim? Do you reccomend doing this before having the tint replaced?
Thanks for watching. Definitely replace your window sweeps before the tint
Thanks for the great video, I replaced the felts on my 1996 Eddie Bauer edition and the passenger side has a couple of broken tabs so the felt doesn't stay properly. The rivets that you installed didn't interfere with the window or into the door channel? Thanks again.
Glad it helped! They don’t interfere at all.
All of my little tabs are broken. I have mine pop riveted through the top and it looks like hell. I'm definitely going to get a new set of inner sweeps and rivet them the same way you did. My outer sweeps are mint still.
We sell used door panels….never seen them pop riveted thru the top. But whatever works and keeps it on the road!!
@@BroncosandPartsGarage I had rivets that were too long to go through the back so I put them through the top. But I have to get new sweeps and rivet them through the back because it drives me nuts seeing those rivets.
Be extra careful with the rivets, they will scratch the after market tint off of your glass and I used the size rivet he stated.
I just installed new window sweeps on my 1997 F250 HD, and noticed a gap between it and the vent window seal, I was concerned. I've noticed the same in your vid here @11:14, is that normal? Could water not get in and sit at the bottom of the door? Thanks, love your vids, very informative.
PS, love your fix on the broken tabs!
I went and looked. I don’t thin it will cause an issue. Non Oem parts vary a bit. Doors have drain holes. Also, the sweeps don’t catch all the rain. There may be a little “play” in it as well. Moveable from side to side during install.
My glass keeps coming loose, is the rear track supposed to be loose towards the bottom edge of window opening? Not sure if my metal track is broke or what, but pops out of door tracks when i lower window.
Check the small white square “slide”
About to do the outer felts and channel felts on my 85 f150. The channel felts are falling out
It’s a very similar procedure
In the video I noticed you are missing the side mirror glass. I'm sure because you can't find a replacement with the built in signal provisions that the EB and Sport models have. Have you looked into this or located any? What about finding a larger replacement mirror with the arrow and cutting it down to our Bronco size? I'm looking into this but have not figured out what vehicle has large enough glass to cut down to this size.
The issue is the led’s are red. There is an amber piece of plastic on the back of the Mirror. Prismed so u don’t see the lights when they are blinking. It’s an odd coating.
Do you know where I can get the plastic speaker covers that go on the door panels? and also the black trim that goes on top of each door panel, I just finished a hand crank to power window conversion that’s all I need
I made a video on how to install these. There are links in the description.
ua-cam.com/video/0L6-sfKgijc/v-deo.html
Grab my email from the description and I can set you up with the speaker grills for your door panels
@@BroncosandPartsGarage do you have the sweeps? The part you installed in the video I need both sides
I buy them from Jeffs Bronco Graveyard. Links in description.
So I bought some overlays a while back and I’m just now getting around to putting them on my 95 F150 I noticed there’s not as many fasteners and then there’s no pre-drilled holes on the bottom of these do you have any how to videos on those? Thank you tried calling but nobody’s answering the phone
Sorry, I don’t know much about the overlays. I try to use all OEM door panels
@@BroncosandPartsGarage yeah oem would cost me more than the trucks worth…
Thought for sure you guys would have a how to video
What holds the window felt in? That's what I've been trying to figure out
The window channel felt/seal is held in with friction. The sweep is attached to door panel on inside and door body on outside.
Where did you get the led curtesy light from?
ua-cam.com/video/LQ-fcobnhnY/v-deo.html
Links in this video description. Same as dash led
how do the window felts/sweeps fit i got some on amazon and around the curve they dont sit very well it looks ok and they stay in place but they dont exactly fit like factory
Avoid the “precision” brand. Sadly, Nothing fits like Oem. They take some time working themselves into place. Mine don’t fit perfect either.
@@BroncosandPartsGarage $36 ebay ones pinch window at curve, seem to be a 1/4" wider and wont allow windo to roll up. Its a discontinued part. Dont know where to turn...maybe the junkyard?!?
@@travisotto137 call jeffs bronco graveyard and ask for their premium house brand.
@@BroncosandPartsGarage Thanx...after reviewing reviews I found $55 "Fairchild" (made in china) had little complaints on fit. so i ordered and waitIng to attempt install again. " I BELIEVE USING RIVETS FOR INSTALL WILL HELP KEEP TIGHT/SNUG AND AWAY FROM THE WINDOW SO IT HAS A CHANCE TO GO UP AND DOWN AT EASE
I have a 95 f150 but the section on my door panel that the felt sweep is supposed to clip into is completely gone, so pop riveting it is out of the question. Any idea what I can do besides replacing the entire door panel???
Is the entire lip gone or just the area where one of the clips go into?
Almost the entire lip is gone except for one little section but it’s hanging on for dear life.
Also just looked into some of your videos and I’m definitely gonna need one of those “cold air intakes” and the power steering replacement to get rid of that awful noise.

Are these made in USA?
I believe jeffs Bronco Graveyard sells the precision brand which Are made overseas and they’re own inhouse brand
