The 2JZ was an absolute legend in the 90s. Thing about the B58 is that it hits current emissions standards - while packing a 10% power increase over previous gen in stock form.
Sounds so good and clean without the pops and bangs from a burble tune. Big fan of the SP1R. I would order mine without the burnt color change, which is possible. Just wondering if there's a way to prevent the heat discoloration color change over time since I love the polished look. Also, Downshift Blue...such an under rated and rare color that I wish was still available. Downshift Blue paired with the tan interior from the A91 MT edition would be perfect in my opinion.
You want something made with steel then. Titanium changes color as it gets heated. You can't prevent it in an exhaust system with the high temps it endures.
I wish somebody would Dyno more Supras with the single SP1R. Back pressure is not good for horsepower and torque. I wonder side by side how the single compares to a dual which has less back pressure.
@@chrisginoc learning more about cars over time and i have a question. so are you saying a duel exit is better because you get less back pressure. do cars usually dyno better numbers with a dual exit?
@@interlocs I don't know if they so or don't in this case dual vs single. What I was trying to say is back pressure is your enemy, not your friend like it was once thought many years ago.
I am glad you covered up the where the old exhaust was on the right side of the car. I think it looks very dumb when people take a car with dual exhaust and then convert it to single exhaust and leave the opening for the old exhaust. I still prefer the look of dual exhaust, but hey, it’s not my car.
That exhaust looks absolutely incredible. I just like the crackle and pops from the Tomei single exit with the Catted Downpipe. But man this exhaust is frickin beautiful looking. Sounds good to.
I just finished installing my SP1-R this afternoon. The clips to not do it justice with just how deep the exhaust actually is, it's quite a bit louder than I was expecting.
I think this is the Best looking exhaust out there for the MK5 but I just don’t want to do all the cutting lol so ima just go with the HKS but I was really considering the SP1R tho
This is so far the only MK5 Supra I've seen on UA-cam that its sound reminds me of a 2JZ-GTE. 😊
Same engine ass bmw F30 240/340i/540 etc, but yeah B58 sounds amazing with the right exhaust, gonna order the sp1-r for my 2017 340i 👏🏻

@@chrisginoc I’ve been curious about negative effects on this drivetrain from a single exit vs dual exit setup as well

I have this on my 2023 Manual Transmission A90 and I love it!
How much was it

lowkey that sounds like a 2j in around 4k rpm
I don't have a (A90/91) Supra, but I am intrigued by them more and more as they "age"...
Sounds sooooo good!
Sound Clip: 2:10
y'all need to make a carbon fiber exhaust cover, the black just doesn't go well with the carbon rear bumper :/
I wish this was an option for the m340i's!

If you don’t want to do cutting I highly highly recommend the rk titanium exhaust!
Sounds good .
What’s the intake setup on the car for the turbo noise?
Will the NSR rear diffuser fit with the SP1R exhaust??
Nice👍👍 do you guys do installs in your shop now?
We always have when time permits, sometimes we are backed up a good two months on our schedule tho
Hmmmm... this vs HKS?? Can't decide
How much is stock exhaust vs this setup?
The SP1R exhaust sounds different in both Manual and Auto Supras
I’ve noticed that too. Was hoping this was a manual but I’m going to get one for the manual regardless lol
@@madmyro maybe @Supradebt will let us put this on our Manual one day...
@@Speedindustryjust ordered one from you for a manual
@@jonhofer7072Have you received it? How do you like it?
omg esta bien lindo necesito un supra
Necesitas a Cristo. Olvídate del Supra. ❤
Love my 2020 supra
Have you tried fitting the Verus diffuser over this exhaust?
Under, I don think it will fit based on the installs we have done - Watch the install video on this system
Any downpipe in this?
This would sound so much better on a manual Supra without the farts in between the upshifts. Also no fake programmed synthetic burbles.
What was the update with sp1r that you mentioned near the beginning of the video? A SS version of this exhaust maybe?
Would there be a significant difference if it was SS?
We have to wait ,,,
Is that the rexpeed v3 diffuser and Did you have to cut the trim the diffuser to make it fit?
This is the Seibon - The link is now up
Seibon diffuser and yes you have to cut it. Install video also up on the channel.
Beautiful car, beautiful sound! What spoiler is that?
Did you ever find out? I’ve been looking for it.

@@TheSuds_18 thanks 🤙🏼
How do you get the turbo to spool like that
He’s got an upgraded turbo
Where to get the rear bumber fins?
It's a full replacement, believe its Seibon's MB Style diffuser.
His tires looking at the new exhaust like 👀👀👀
We seen that as well once the video was edited - lol , i do not think it was as bad in person
They are drag radials, not even at the wear bars yet lol
@@Speedindustry what about drone? ive heard RK has a lot
Wish it was dual
I would AT LEAST A FAKE ONE ON THE OTHER SIDE SO , it doesn’t look like a one ball bull 👍🏽, beautiful job 👍🏽GREAT VIDEO ❤
They make inserts for single exhausts. Dude probably just hadnt gotten around to getting one at the time of video
What catless downpipe is on this car?
in the video he said Free Flowing - they are all going to achieve a very very similar sound
Farty at 4:38
The car should have split dual exhaust tips. Looks like a Honda with just one exhaust tip.
That's legit how all the old jdm cars were.
Single n1 style muffler is the best look for any JDM hands down
I don't like it.
Sounds Good
