Where are the sound clips?? - This is an instructional video for those who have or want this system or just want to know more about the process. Sound Video Link is up, there was an issue and they both should have been published at the same time
Just installed mine. Just my 2 cents but cutting the heat shield with a dremmel took way too long and using an angle grinder felt sketchy in my hands so I got a pair of metal cutting shears. it was quick and easy from there
Thank you for this comment. I'm like 45 seconds in and I'm watching someone sharpie a rough circle into carbon fiber and telling random people on the internet to cut it themselves and it's already making me uncomfortable. The fact that I don't get to hear it at the end means this is a waste of time. What a strange video.
@@ShortysTRMI guess that’s why some people pay others to work on their cars. They aren’t comfortable doing it themselves. It comes with full instructions when you buy it, but he’s done it tons of times and can do it by eyeballing it and it came out great. This was a install video, the sound clips and all are coming in another video..
@Thomas Clark I appreciate the clarification. He is clearly telling viewers to DIY, but does also at one point say he's done this several times already. Perhaps some simple plastic or paper stencils for the diffuser would make this a cleaner process and a cheap addition to their kit. I'd also be a little nervous cutting carbon without better PPE, more for the tiny pieces of fiber floating in the air than the fumes. Don't take it personally, I'll freely admit I'm an internet know-it-all with very little actual experience. I wouldn't mind hearing the "after" video.
@@ShortysTRM don’t quote me but I thought they do include a template. I’m not sure. I would’ve installed this myself, but SI wanted to do a video with him showing the process since this isn’t the typical exhaust install. And yes they should’ve had masks on the whole time. I think they realized that going into it. He knew I had a carbon diffuser but it just slipped our minds on install day. 99% of the time these are plastic. All that said. If they don’t have a template, maybe Charles from SP1R can make something up to include in the box ;)
@Thomas Clark I think the mention of the carbon diffuser was something I heard but didn't process...I just assumed it was part of a high OEM trim level for a Supra lol
The way I understand it, and there is alway controversy on it. But you can have a 6” down pipe that chokes down to the 3.15” OEM connector then a 6” back or a 12” back and it’s not going to make a difference, you’ll get 3.15” of flow. Whether it’s true or not idk. But if you go research any of that fluid analysis stuff you’ll see the theory seems to be correct. Obviously you want the biggest pipe you can fit
I’d just install the carbon exhaust cover on and it would cover the cut, it’s not like it’s that big a deal lol… and if I wanted to revert back to stock I’d put the 80$ OEM rear valance back on. So even if you cut it, if you wanted to go stock sell the exhaust and rear valance together and put a new one on. They aren’t expensive.
Meh it's not like that - This might steer some away but ....for those who always want the best and the most flowing straight design will take these steps , there is a reason they are in high demand and an ongoing backlog.
There is a related video link right in this one that we filmed separately so those could listen to the sound clips with out getting bored of the installation.

Is the exhaust discontinued? Been eyeing the site and it says product no longer available.
They been real difficult to get, so we had to stop taking orders
What do we do with the electronic valve controller?
Just ordered mine! Will be installing myself.
It’s just tucked up away. This is common with many of the aftermarket exhaust for this platform
I like the look of that💪
Gorgeous exhaust, but it would bother me too much having a dual exit bumper/diffuser. Lol.
No sound clips?

So I assume this will not work with the Verus Engineering rear diffuser….. 🤷♂️
Not it won't.
Are single exit exhausts safe on the b58 platform with regards to back pressure?

Can it be attached to the 91 Supra?
YES
What a great exhaust. Chop away half of the car. What if you wanna revert back to stock, or run a different system. Glue everything back to place lol

Cut the diffuser? next.
You lack commitment. Weak.
My thoughts exactly. Love the exhaust. Cut a CF diffuser for it? No thanks.
I just watch an install with no sound clip thumbs down lol

Lol 45 minutes righhtttt. You prob spent 30 minutes just measuring it. Lol
I anticipate installing mine myself next week in under 2 hours, it's a pretty straight forward install
