    Hi! compliments for the flights! All around the world people find the Seagull Hurricane difficult to land, have you modified it in some way to have it so docile in landing or it's only a matter of CoG?
    Thanks

      WarbirdPiLOT I've the Seagull Hurricane on hand from some years, untouched since really frightened about the landing experiences reported all around the world. If I've we'll understood now the correct set up is a 110mm Cog and shortened legs to avoid nose overs. My doubt is: with these mods is the plane easily flyable or is something that needs a gyro to be flown?
      Thanks!

    • @WarbirdPiLOT
      @WarbirdPiLOT  4 роки тому

      @@federicoscapparone4574 It definitely does not need a gyro to fly, I just use them to make the plane fly more precise and also wind does not keep me grounded as much. I would not rank this as easy to fly but manageable, still very pitch sensitive but with proper setup it flies good. It all comes down to your experience I guess and what you feel comfortable with, it's an warbird after all, some challenges is included 😁

  • @DougRogers-d4h

    Did you use the kit tank stopper? Is it gas tolerant?
    Did you use the battery pack supplied for the lights, or did you use receiver power? If receiver, what voltage. I think the lights are only 5 volt.

    I have the same airplane which I have yet to maiden. I have a 35 cc rear exhaust engine in it. Any tips prior to the maiden? Where did you find CG in your model, as I have heard from several people that the CG recommended in the plans is incorrect. What were your control throws? I’ve been in the Hobby for more than 45 years, and have flown other large scale aircraft (crop duster, PT 19, and P 47 )but this is my first large scale war bird. My email is navydoc192 at yahoo if you would rather email me that answer me in this forum.
