Thanks! This worked. I had imprints from 15 year old furniture. I did this and it only took 5-10 minutes at most to get it all out. Very helpful video.
OMG, you are AWESOME!!! I had just watched to the #1-MOST annoying video that recommended ICE and thankfully, I kept on looking and found you. This is PERFECT. It totally worked on about 12 deep-deep marks that our sleigh bed had made in our thick wool 8x10 area rug. We thought the supposed holes had broken through the expensive thick wool rug. Your technique totally worked. THANK YOU for a no-nonsense video that got right to the point and gave superior advice that worked on deep divots. :-)
Wow! Thanks for this tip. Being the idiot that I can be sometimes, I cleaned my carpet on my own and as I had nobody to help me move furniture, I just moved it out of the way, cleaned that bit of carpet and then put the furniture back. A few days later, when I wanted to vacuum, I moved the furniture again. Shock and horror at the indentations! Oops, I didn't think of that! Anyway, it took a few more goes than only 2 times on each section, but your advice even works on seriously shocking dents. Thanks a lot!
Incredible. I held the iron down for 15 seconds, then rubbed with my hand, and did it a second time. I just raised three heavy dresser marks in under 5 minutes. Amazing tip! Kudos!

Thank you! Sweet, brief and to the point! Now to remove some divots. :)
Thank you Sir. Just about to try this on my lounge carpet as we have just rwceived our new couch and the old one has left us some mementoes!!
do you have a solution on filling under the carpet with a hypodermic neddle with clear glue to fill in where padding is gone
Looks good. Will try if the ice treatment doesn't work
going to try!
