Really blown away, again! I know it was your first attempt using the Green Mountain Gold Trap, so you were a bit in the dark. Not to mention, you stated in a previous video, that you had never used a fluid bed gold trap before.
All that aside, my product still managed to capture the gold. Not just any gold, fine flour gold at that! Pretty exciting if you ask me!
You will get the hang of it. Building a dam is often the key to success. Yes! that can take a little time, but you will make up for that time greatly by 1- not having to classify. and 2- for the amount of material you can move in a day.
I have videos showing how I set up and run. However, I do believe I need to shoot another video and get it posted, along with my other 308 videos on deck.
Yes, I have used this several times since I filmed this video and I've learned that it doesn't need to be set up perfectly in order to catch gold. I've set this up properly a few times when the conditions and location were easy to do so and I've also completely submerged it a couple times to get the flow needed for it to work and clear out because that's all I could do at that location...and no matter what it catches the gold. I'm impressed. It's not difficult to use. You can spend a lot of time trying to set it up or very little and it's going to work. Of course catch rate may be higher when conditions are right but I have found that it's not that critical as long as you got good flow. You'll be seeing more of it in the future.

It’s actually a Gold Reaper.
I don't think that's a GGT, I have one and they look a little different. Definitely a bazooka knock off though and very similar to the GGT.
