What's funny is that I pretty much never use the Skull Cutter with a shield. I use it on standard demo loadouts to punish overzealous casual scouts who can't aim well (something it does suprisingly well even without crits).

As someone who frequents medieval mode, i hate the hell out of this weapon. Playing as a demoknight with eyelander or zatoichi and going up against this weapon just feels unfair. You are out here snowballing and building up your momentum surviving through all kinds of encounters and this dumass one or two shots you with dumb luck. Absolute bullshit.
Even worse because it's amazing cover for crit hackers. Yes, there are crit hackers in medieval mode, but it's really hard to tell when your team keeps trickling out of spawn to get gutted repeatedly and demoknights can still roll random crits on Tide Turner charge.
Every time you upload one of these stream highlights it feels like getting a recap of something that happened 2-3 months ago lol. Editing takes so much time, even if it is just something simple like highlights
Me personally, I fell in love with Factory New Swashbuckled on the Persian Persuader. That sleek black and the white skull on the sword, it's like a sticker paint done right.
I like being able to pinball demo with the skull cutter and it having random Crits helps pull off amazingly satisfying chains. That being said I will NEVER argue that it’s broken and shouldn’t have random crits. If it was taken away, I would still use it for the damage bonus, and I can still get chains with a tide turned bash and swing on everyone besides soldier and heavy. It definitely should have random crits removed, nothing more nothing less.
funny thing I too have a alarm PTSD to wake me up to go to work but it's not Bell's it's a roaster alarm and like I say " if it's not giving you a mild heart attack it's not doing it's job"

Don’t get the wrong idea, I love my mother, and she loves me. I just have a mild panic attack when something big enough happened that my mother deemed it necessary to call my phone.

I tried Lobotomy Corporation's "First Warning" and "Second Warning" OSTs as alarms and they scare the shit out of me both as alarms and when I play the game. Highly recommend.
I find it quite a shame that the Skullcutter has random crits, since that's basically all people use it for! I really like using the Skullcutter like a hybrid-caberknight. I also find the extra damage quite helpful! You can 2 shot Pyros and Demomen by shooting them with a grenade and then an axe swing and straight up one shot soldiers even with the backup! Now yes, pyros and demos can also get two shot by a pipe and a mini crit swing with any melee (except a broken caber) and you can already one shot soldiers if you hit them with a shield charge first, but for pyros and demos it's nice to shot them like that without using charge (i usually use the chargin targe when i play hybridknight so that's probably why i like that aspect so much given it has neither faster recharge nor charge on kill) and for 1 shotting soldiers it's nice since i often struggle using my shield bash as an attacking tool. I do think this weapon is a bit overhated, but the random crits on it are absolute horseshit especially in medieval mode so yeah fuck this thing actually xd

The Scottsman Skullcuter is a fair weapon. Actually, I'd even go far enough to say it's not that good. And you all complain about this "taking no skill" and the random crits with the damage is far to high. But yet... The Pyro has a weapon with even more damage, doesn't slow you down, aaaannd can still crit.

It is microwaveable mashed potatoes. Basically dried out potato ground into a powder that you add water to and microwave to cook and rehydrate into mashed potatoes. They aren't as good as actually mashed potatoes but they aren't terrible for a quick meal/snack/side.
