You know what annoys me the most about Yiik, there is a somewhat good idea that game could've done, but they ruin every chance they got, the game is way too colorful to really take it serious, crazy shit happens a bit too soon, Alex is in this weird place where he is too much of a prick to be relatable, but isn't enough of a prick to be a protag you're suppose to hate, their weapons are dumb (That goes with how it's too colorful) and the character designs, pretty much only like 2 or 3 of them fit the late 1990s setting, the rest are straight out of the 2000s and 2010s

Probably one of my best experiences with the loose cannon, was in mvm, there were like 15 medics on a giant, I had 2 ticks on damage for my cannon, and I perfectly timed a shot to get all of the meds at once. The dopamine rush was crazy.

25:10 this happened to me. My next door neighbor with dementia died at my doorstep trying to get in. Most likely he thought our house was his. I have ring footage of it and he just wandered to our door sat there and died. There was blood so he probably got injured and came to our house thinking it was his house and trying to get in to get help. or he just came to our house looking for help. Either one could have happened but it was really sad to see. These things aren’t mysterious. It’s people with underlying mental problems doing dangerous and irrational things because they feel they’re in danger.

Looking at the wiki, I'm pretty sure 101 is the absolute minimum the liberty launcher can deal. Kitten Exterminator just nicking people with the edge of the blast.

sniper balancing ideas I havent heard because theyre weird:
Easy to implement: punish whiffs by making a large sound area around the bullet so if you miss near a target they will hear it and know that theres a sniper actively shooting at them, just like a large long hitscan box and a sound effect needed really
Hard to implement: when facing downwards give all classes a hand animation so they will point their guns downwards while also covering the head, balanced by the fact that it only works on one way and also gimps the players ability to see. Might make sniping tad difficult when theres no enemies between you and them

Oh my god you’re right. I’d immediately think of ducking or running if I heard a sniper bullet whizz past but you never hear that in TF2
I really like these ideas,they dont change any of the classes weapons,they just implement mechanics,the punishing whiffs one sounds really cool and the one covering the head sounds awesome though perhaps make it so that it's with the push of the button when looking down and maybe make it so that the classes cant carry their primary weapons when holding said button
@@sensibledog09 idk about pushing a button since the whole idea doubles as a more cartoonish way for everyone to shoot
(especially for heavy who after some degree just looks straight on while the bullets in his gun magically bend downwards from the barrel.)
as for limiting what weapons should have this feature it could be balanced by the way of animation, say when primary is aimed down the classes hold it to one side and such.
@@engine4403 yeah I guess holding down a button would be kinda dumb though I do like the idea for the gun to be slightly off centered,so its harder to aim,kinda like the rocket launchers but more drastic

While I understand that sniper is hard to master, but incredibly rewarding to do, it's one of the reasons that bots are able to run wild.
Think about Engineer or Spy. They have complex gameplay that requires more than just 'move and click on head'.
I actually got a triple double donk once when i was on the 2fort enemy battlements,so salty i didnt record it. I got a triple kill from one double donk,i nearly overdosed on dopamine.

I came up with a sort of buff for the liberty launcher, make it have a boost meter, similar to the baby face’s blaster, but instead of boosting your speed, it buffs your reload speed, weapon switch speed, banner deployment speed, and swing speed across all weapons in your kit, this would make it a much better combo weapon, and shit, it might even make the equalizer good, this is balanced out by the fact that you will always suffer less damage on your rocket launcher

I'd say the biggest problem with fish bites is the length of the videos. Most are about ~30 minutes long, and that's a commitment to watch
They also tend to be a bit haphazard in terms of content. Some parts are the funnies, others are sick airshot clips, others are a rant of some sort
I'd recommend honing in on one of these, or another aspect of your choosing. This would probably make it so that the videos are shorter (brings more people in) and more consistent (would allow for a growth of a more dedicated audience). Then again, I'm not a youtuber so take what I say with a grain of salt

What if the Liberty Launcher had a +25% faster firing speed on top of its current design. I think that make the weapon relevant in most players hands and a tool of destruction in kitten exterminators hands
no that would make it a straight upgrade from stock you can add like a 10%buff to firing speed but it's not necessary

Its already good it's just not as universal as invulnerability. I'm not that opposed to making it better because I like it but I don't think its necessary.

honestly, i am no person to ask for balance, but i feel like the way to make the bison better is to make it do 3s of critical hits after you kill someone with it (kinda like how the killing gloves of boxing work), and make it have a slightly slower reload time than the cow mangler 5000 (maybe 10-20% slower)

Try doing a bad weapon academy for PVZ GW2 for the retro gatling or the armored heal station. The reason the retro gatling is bad is because the ammo count is halved, totaling 50 instead of 100, and the fire rate is SO SLOW. And the only thing you get is 1 extra damage per shot.
The reason the armored heal station is bad is because it has more health, but only a fraction of the healing, the issue being that the heal station is supposed to heal teammates, not tank more damage, and nerfing your healing ability for more armor is just taking the Mickey.
You probably shouldn't have said "DONGAGE" that sounds kinda weird to hear just out of the blue
An idea I have for sniper balancing, is to only allow quick scope headshots at short range (same distance as the new Ambassador) beyond this distance headshots are only possible once fully charged, to offset this though, I would propose the charge time be reduced by 50% for all sniper rifles. This would retain the skill of quick scoping enemies that are harassing you, but makes the long range picks more deserved.

Something I don't understand with YIIK is the idea that Alex is an unlikable protagonist from the beginning of the game. SURELY, if you wanted to make a protagonist unlikable, wouldn't it be better to ease that into the game? Having it be right off the bat just makes the game a lot more painful to go through.

About the entire YIIK rant; I don't LIKE YIIK, like, at all, but I know Andrew Allenson, and I've spoken with him a lot about what he made and I can tell you firsthand that Alex isn't meant to be a self insert, in fact, Alex is based on Andrew's childhood school BULLY, and they don't even look or sound anything alike. So... Yeah, I don't like the thing at all myself, but he's not a self insert and I don't really get where that comes from.

The damage fall-off arguement is balls
There are maps that favor other classes already (like all of 5CP) and the many choke heavy maps or long range maps. So while it's not a great fix it's also not a bad idea
Like, the danger of quickscopes are in the mid-range, where it's easy to hit 'em and the consistent damage that lets you kill shit insanely quickly
The clip solution is still better tho
