So, as an Italian who take high speed train and not every week I'll give you some advice : N1:some train have Reserved seats and some not. If you are taking a regional train (indicated on the ticket with the letter R, and like the one in the video ) there are no reserved seats but if you are not taking a regional train you will have a reserved seat (which sometimes you can choose from the app) the seat is indicate with a number and a letter like an airplane The coach is indicated with Carrozza and you can see the number of coaches just by looking at the door of the train. N2:Unfortunately many trains here in Italy always arrive late and many times especially in very large stations such as Bologna, Milan, Rome also change track / platform N3: just for the point mentioned above I strongly advise you to always look at the Departures and arrivals screen to stay updated on the condition of the train. N4:There are many types of trains in Italy with each its own characteristics. We have: Regionali veloci /regional trains:They operate in the regional borders and connect small and large cities have a maximum speed of 160 km / h and are the cheapest. Intercity: they are a cross between high speed and regional. They also operate in multiple regions and connect all of Italy. Their maximum speed is 200 km/h and their cost is certainly higher than the regional but lower than the high speed. Frecciarossa / Frecciargento:They are both high-speed trains that connect important cities in a short time are the most expensive on this list but also the fastest with speeds ranging up to 300 km/h N5:This advice concerns the Bologna station which, given its size, could be difficult to orient for tourists). You should know that it is made up of 2 parts, the first part which is the upper one from where most trains depart and from the underground part where the trains called av (high speed) depart most. I hope these tips are helpful and anyway the video was done very well.

So you still don’t need to validate your online regional train ticket? Because I’ve seen that the validating machines have a QR code scanner and I thought that it was for the online tickets
This is such a wonderful and informative video ! So many videos say " go to the station, buy your ticket, then get on the train" . What!?!? 🤣 It leaves me with more questions than answers.
