U could have played p3 it came out early February and I did bought it and finished it before rebrith came out, no I didn't binge it or anything I took my time with it, I didn't play it everyday, there is enough time for both game, cuz u r missing out if u didn't play p3R it was an amazing remake literally perfection

I wont try to guess, but all I can say is that if Zack doesn't stay dead and Aerith doesn't die, it is not Final Fantasy 7. It doesn't matter how many parallel realities they want to hide behind. The fact that heroes could die was what set Final Fantasy 7 apart from other JRPG games and made you feel like there was more at stake here.
💡1:30 Yoshinori nailed just 1 of 2 points here: revisiting a story people had grown up with yes but _ALSO_ he missed it was during the late 90's rapid growth in game graphics. If someone grew up with FF XVI and SE revisited it 25 years later, would that generation experience a similar emotional impact?
Right now, the only FF7 content I _need_ on Access is Dave's journey through the original FF7 every Monday. The rest is a welcome bonus extra with pretty visuals.

Basically Genesis came back from the lifestream and is controlling the lifestream to alter history a.k.a. "Remake" which is why Sephiroth is actually dead and just a vision of the entities. Aerith realizes this as she is in tune with the planet and the lifestream and knows that because history is being altered she is probably going to let her live instead of dying. So at the end of "Rebirth" Aerith dies but of her own will to keep history in check.

In case they read as you suggest, I love the combat but as a now older gamer I find the pace a bit difficult, I would love an accessibility option or gameplay mechanic to slow game time a bit in fights. I had an idea, that you could play into how you can change the battle speed in the original and have potentially a couple of settings of speed. Here's my ideal: have like 75% speed button you can toggle to make it a bit easier to watch, control and frame the action beautifully, but then when you execute an ability it plays at full speed for snappy effect, you add a little Max Payne flavour in there for style. Love the demo overall and can't wait to play the full game when it launches!
In the trailers we see tifa falling into a planetary weapon and floating somewhere looking at another planetary weapon . Trailers focus for tifa is connected to the planetary weapons ( I think that is when she gets separated from the team )
I think the End of Rebirth will end exactly how disc one ended since they also stated they wont change the main events of the orignal story. But i am excited to see how they present it in more detail.

To all the people who play the original ff7 the writers Yoshinori Kitase and Kazushige Nojima did Interviews in the 90s and 2000's say they had a bigger story for the original game but were limited by technology at the time so they had to simplify the story to the one we got.The remake is the real story they wanted to tell for the original game but couldn't.
So people who played the game 20-25 years ago, can have the same experience again, so that basically confirms the most iconic scene in FFVII universe is happening again.

Rebirth Aerith is Jenova. Sephiroth killed her in the alley at the start of Remake and has been controlling Cloud with her ever since. The Aerith he's having glimpses of and the scene of Aerith and Zack all scuffed up are OG Aerith and Zack in the lifestream, unable to pass on because of what Sephiroth and Jenova are doing in the lifestream. The big spoiler that everyone knows is going to be made even worse when Sephiroth does what he does, and it's just a reveal that she's Jenova. I've never wanted to be wrong more, but it fits too well. Rob, I know you're reading this haha.
I would love for a route where Sephiroth got the sanity knocked back into him and teams up with Cloud in the end. Or will they make Zack/Aerith or even Cloud the new baddie? Lol. Seriously though, I would like more sane Sephiroth, pls.

I love the remake characters way better than the original version's. I'm glad they were able to go back and expand it for new players and players like me who maybe didn't like it as much as the most ardent fans.

The end is either they retcon the original content and Crisis Core or they don't. Seems simple enough to me.
