Putting Billy and Flora in the same tier is a smart move. They are both unlikable in two different ways Anyways my ranking goes like this 1. Hector 2. Freddie 3. Madge 4. Dennis 5. Mighty Mac 6. Molly 7. Rocky 8. Whiff 9. Neville 10. Hank 11. Stanley 12. Jeremy 13. Rosie 14. Colin 15. Billy 16. Flora I didn’t include proteus because I’d don’t really consider them too be characters
My theory on Freddie is that he used to work on the rocky ridge line before he was sold off so he would know it better than anyone (also Stanley does have an actual basis The manning wardle T class)
honestly to me obscure characters are unique characters, I think it’s because you hardly see them compared to others making them feel more special, and the fact there’s not that much of them when it comes to backstory and personality gives fans opportunities to come up with their own head cannons.
The hit era characters shouldve been in the nitrogen era because that was also from hit entertainment and sharon miller was the headwriter for those 9 seasons
Tbh when I think of Thomas characters I have favourites based on design more than anything else, mainly because alot of Thomas characters have very interpretive character traits especially due to fan shows so I think everyone has their own ideas on what each character is like
Freddie would've been a great character in the Railway Series, working at the Peel Godred Aluminum Works, no wonder why Sir Handel remembers him too now.
i... i like billy, i think that with better writing a small shunter being rude and starting trouble is a fun idea, imagine if they embraced the monster of billy and make him friends with the trucks and encouraging them to cause trouble. a steam engine as a villain is to fun to ignore.
I think Flora is an okay character, but I think she would be better if she used to work at the old Sodor Tramways by Great Waterton many years ago when she was young, which made her boastful. However, after Great Waterton and the tramway closed down, she would be placed in a shed and would make her realize that something important doesn't always last forever, and I think Percy should be the one to rediscover her to show the classic Percy & Toby dynamic from The Railway Series books.
@@SodorFan15 I honestly don't mind her design. And I know you would disagree, but I think Billy is fine and the episode Don't Be Silly, Billy is pretty good in my opinion because it shows a mature Thomas trying to look after an engine who was just like the Thomas we know in Season 1.

Okay, Molly is actually my overall favorite character cause my name is also Molly. I would have like her to be purple, my favorite color, but yellow is my second favorite color, so I guess she works out there. I did get two take along Molly's on purpose because I wanted to customize one purple. So, I still can use a purple Molly.
A Claud Hamilton appears in special attraction. It’s number, 8783 is real, and was the royal engine. A replica is being built. This could be why Molly was rumored to be appearing in the royal engine
I don't think that Billy is better than nia sure Nia replaced Edward but at the very least you can stand nia more than you can stand Billy as a "person"
What I think Of The BWBA And Great Race Engines Ashima Is A Kind Hearted Engine who accidentally Almost Knocked Thomas off of the docks But To be honest I Think she is Interesting, Not Because of her personality It’s Because of her Song “Six Small Wheels” 7.5/10 Nia Nia Is An African Engine who, Much Like Ashima Was Loathed By Thomas at first but As the time passes Thomas forms a string relationship with her Like SAM Strong 9/10 Sonny Sonny Has To Be My favorite character but here’s what I hate about him He Was Labeled as A Thief All Because of 2 Crooks Baz And Bernie When Sonny Refused to Help Them They tied on his regulator as punishment Oh But it Dosent end there Sonny Was On His First Work Day On Sodor Trying to make friends with the engines And That’s When He Met Diesel And Guess What Diesel Manipulated Sonny Into doing his work for him I think this is the most underrated Engine Ever 10/10 Gina Gina Is An Italian engine who met Thomas in Italy But it was Gina Who Loathed Thomas this time Gina is a kind hearted Engine But has that Rude Bossy Girl Personality To Her 7/10

Hank is in the middle. Flora I don’t really have a soft spot for. Whiff is wise and a good character. Rocky was a good ol’ guy. Dennis was meh. Colin is just……………………………………………….BLANK.
I don’t think Billy is better than either Nia or Samson. Nia at least isn’t an annoying brat. Even if Billy “learns”. Yea, Nia replacing Edward absolutely sucks, but realistically any character could have done that, it could have been Rebecca (who replaced Henry), it could have been Rosie (who was in promotional art for Series 21), or it could have been a completely different character. Yea Nia’s reason for existing sucks, but I can at least tolerate her. Samson isn’t much better than Billy, but at least he has an Samson design going for him (at least, in my opinion.)

Only problem is, I've only seen a few episodes of nitrogen. So I have to watch the whole era in research. And everyone knows how bad those episodes are.

Yes. Steam engine antagonists are far more memorable to me. Especially what they did with Spencer in Hero of the Rails.

Yes that would be much better. But my main issue with her is her design. If she had a simple redesign, I probably would've ranked her higher.
