I’m glad too see Thomas and the Firework Display, Don’t Bother Victor, Henry and the Flagpole, Percy’s Lucky Day, Snow Engine, James and the Red Balloon, Duncan the Humbug and Yong Bao and the Tiger getting some love.
So, final thoughts. I really like your choices for Hidden Gems. I agree with Mind That Bike and Percy's Lucky Day the most! It was a good video! Keep it up!!
I totally agree that mind that bike and Thomas meets the Queen should’ve switched places. Percy’s lucky day was a nice surprise to see, I totally forgot how good that one was. Nice video!
There's a couple of Hit-Era episodes that I think about a lot since watching them that I would consider to be hidden gems: Big Strong Henry - One of Henry's better episodes, which focuses on his brother like rivalry with Gordon. Crash scene was good and a couple of references to past episodes (Emily saying Henry can pull 20 trucks, which he did in The World's Strongest Engine. Also Henry and Gordon once again has a problem with Cows, just like season 2's Cows). Percy and the Oil Painting - Percy's best episode from this era imo, it used the 3 strikes formula (Technically 5 strikes) at it's full potential to progress the story to the climax, not to mention Angelis's great voice for the painter.
I also praise Don't Bother Victor for the first time we see Victor outside the steamworks! I also like the red balloon theme which I think is very underrated! Why did the writers of the Brenner era have to make Oliver such a jerk?
10 - Mind That Bike 09 - Best Engine Ever 08 - Thomas And The Fireworks Display 07 - Don't Bother Victor 06 - Henry And The Flagpole 05 - Percy's Lucky Day 04 - Snow Engine 03 - James And The Red Balloon 02 - Duncan The Humbug 01 - Yong Bao And The Tiger
One hidden gem of Thomas & Friends that comes to my head is Season 12’s Mountain Marvel. For all of this season’s faults, I do like how attentive it is to continuity with past events, this episode being an example. I love that this episode serves as a second part to Peter Sam’s Proteus story arc from Season 9 and it works well. Even though The Great Discovery is the swan song for model Thomas era, I will at least give Season 12 credit for closing the circle for the multi story arcs of other characters in the model series such as James, Gordon, and even Peter Sam.
I don't like this episode, but I don't hate it either. I do agree with the points you made, but you always have to keep in mind that this is still a S12 episode in the end; characters are conveniently present for a certain scenario, Peter Sam - again - acts dumb, just so that the plot can happen, two flatbeds of milk churns are somehow super heavy (???), and so on, and so on... but still, I can see why you would think that this is one of the better S12 episodes. I really want to give some credits to you specifically. You are pretty much the only one who truly puts some effort into your comments. You always explain your opinions and know your stuff about the show, which is great. And while I may not always agree with your opinions, I can easily respectfully disagree with you, because you always explain your reasoning as to why you think about something the way you do. Thank you so much, man, I truly appreciate your support and the effort you put into the comments - I hope to hear from you again if I pump out new stuff. I apologise for not responding to your comment sooner, I suppose I wasn't really in the mood before now.

My 10 Hidden Gem Episodes are: 10. Make Someone Happy 9. Gordon & the Famous Visitor 8. Henry & the Flagpole 7. Edward, Trevor & the Really Useful Party 6. Henry's Special Coal 5. Gordon & Rebecca, Coming Through! 4. Welcome Stafford 3. Woolly Bear 2. A Bad Day for Sir Handel 1. Mavis and Toby's Tightrope (TIED)
You sound dead though this but you can fix this with a tiny bit of energy :D But this is AWSOME plus the unlucky tug art style but you shouldn’t copy out her people’s art styles you can create your own like different text font colour and size
Basically, the joke is how Percy is afraid of Thomas being lost, because that is indeed something valid to be worried about, but then he gets told that Thomas is “just delayed”, but since these are engines, timetables are a huge thing to stick by, making his comment of, “i thought he’d only gotten lost” a little funny. maybe that’s just me though, haha
Hey, i just discovered your channel a few weeks ago and have been watching your "discussion" videos, such as this one, your gordon video, and the one about unpopular opinions. I just have to say, you do a great job of presenting and backing up your opinions, and although i dont always agree with them, you are able to convey them in an understable and respectable way. Very easy to understand your opinions. However, one thing i would suggest doing, is sounding more lively when speaking. I mean no offense when i say this, but you sound extremely bored in every one of your videos. It makes it harder to grasp the audience's attention, and this is very important when many of your videos are 20 or 30+ minutes long. As an example, think about the unlucky tug. He speaks in an energetic way, and this usually supports whatever thoughts he is presenting to his viewers. In other words, he matches his voice, with the way he feels about whatever particular topic he is talking about in the moment. I know that he has over a decade of experience in talking into a microphone for the internet and that im not quite comparing apples to apples here. And that i am just some joe who has almost never even attempted to make any sort of content in the first place. But this is one small aspect that makes a huge difference, and is honestly the one thing keeping me from subscribing to you. I know from personal experience that it may be difficult to fake excitement or emotion in general, but once you get it down, it will come naturally. Fake it till you make it. In terms of presentation, you have everything else nailed down. Youve got fancy thumbnails, and its also nice to not just be staring at a slideshow the entire video because you actually include clips from the show, and background music. High production value for a channel with less than 1k subs. Again, i mean no offense whatsoever by this comment and simply want to provide feedback so that you can reach more people with your content.
It’s Thomas the Tank Engine. Hip-hip, hip-hip, hooray…
Chugga chugga chug chug chuff chuff chuff he rides along the way,
Thomas, he has lots of friends and you can be one too!
Just clap clap, clap and sing along Thomas we love youuuuu
He's a really useful engine! With a heart that's big and strong!

I love the driver interactions! That point is very well made. Whenever the drivers get focus it’s always amazing!

Great list! I really enjoyed seeing this from all the eras
I think Missing Trucks is underrated and deserves way more recognition than it gets
@Avery_Productions Nobody can understand it if there is no elaboration.

35:42 well he did seem to stop his complaining in the hit but let’s be honest the hit era was not kind to the narrow gauge engines.
22:10 Keith Wickham’s voice for Percy is so goddamn annoying in my opinion.
