  • Roshaneh Zafar is the Founder and Managing Director of Kashf Foundation, Chair of Kashf Holdings and Founder of the Kashf Microfinance Bank Limited. The Foundation is the third largest MFI in Pakistan and since inception has cumulatively disbursed loans to over one million female clients. Ms. Zafar has been recognized on many forum for her contribution to female economic empowerment and has been the recipient of the Tamgha i Imtiaz (2005), one of Pakistan's highest civilian awards, the One Woman Initiative Award (2009) from the US State Department, and the Leadership Award for Economic Empowerment (2010) by Vital Voices. Ms. Zafar holds a Bachelors degree from the Wharton Business School and a Masters degree from Yale University.

    i pray she will remain successful in her beautiful work.. and i also hope that she will join politics in pakistan. if i were a pakistani and she's running for the president, i will surely vote for her. this is the right person who can transform Pakistan.

    Talk about Urdu first and stop pretending an American. You can say the same things in Urdu and be real..آج سب سے بڑا نقال سو کالد مسلمان ہیں----a famous soofi told this in Louisiana USA in 1977. When he saw Dasi Muslim in the USA and UK...

    Well with that voice. I have to admire her courage to sing the national anthem. I'd also admit that she's the worst singer. However, its easy for me to comment , then to try the same thing in front of an intellectual audience to Good job but should stick to your strengths and singing is not one of them.
