    No. 6.
    When I was in training I was told;
    No such thing as a stupid question.
    You can either look like an idiot for a few moments whilst you ask the 'stupid' question.
    Or you can remain an idiot forever. Some of the things you're going to learn will be obvious, to you. Some of the things will not be. Chances are, you're not the only one.
    Don't be the idiot.
    Always stuck with me.

    Some people says: amor fati. I think that dont dwell with stoich . We should use each vehicle and push the point so far so we can. Don't just accept what happend without doing anythings against that. There is always more ways also more destinys. I reckon switching from one fate to the other is possible.

    What even is the point of these videos/channels beyond giving the "creator" a living. Just read Seneca/Epictetus/Aurelius. Or watch a channel that actually is about the philosophy like Greg Saddler instead of these Stoicism bro's who just cherry pick a few quotes and rehash the same old thumbnails.

    Nah, I’ll stick to my Bible and Quran.
    The stoics have little to nothing but a headache, no modem, no rhythm, nothing on money, nothing on fundamentals, you know G, it costs money to pay your rent, for cloths, transportation, necessities and food.
    Something the stoics had no knowledge and wisdom in handling. Also, most like Seneca to Nero, all committed suicide, so they didn’t even value their own lives, why should I take advice for people who didn’t value theirs?
    The Bible breaths life, serving our God, Philosophies are just man made crap that got no civilization anywhere.

    • @connorstar164
      @connorstar164 9 місяців тому +1

      The Bible is a collective mass of our time here on earth, the content in the Bible is our history book.
      The statutes and commandments given to Moses, states Moses didn’t write them, he was given tablets by God who it states by the finger of God, were they written down on.
      You also do know that stoics and epicureans are mentioned in the Bible right? Paul contends with them and they convert to following Christianity.
      Those who rebelled or stayed in their own ways like the philosophers does off and created nothing to follow. Funny how Ryan doesn’t tell the whole truth of the people he wants to follow, Seneca died by suicide, he doesn’t mention that to his audience, so did Nero, so does a arbitrary of over a thousand Roman’s and stoics died by suicide. Why would anyone want to follow the teachings of people who didn’t even value their own life let alone value life in itself or value God?
      The Bible like the Quran had men spoken too and given things from God, books like the King James Version is a book written by man, it was only transferred to English in the 16th century, that book is written by a transfering of historical text, our history, but the content that already existed in Semitic, and origin status of North Africa and the Middle East, along with Asia, had its content of historical facts given by God, whether the statutes and commandments given to the prophets like Moses or the oral teachings given to prophet Muhammad stated by the Quran. They are all our tie to our Gods and ways of life.
      You wanna follow stoicism, which did what? Made their founders commit suicide., funny how the correlation of modern day athiest shows consensus published by Cambridge university, World Health Organization, and others that atheist commit suicide more than all religions combined, that’s the same as the ancient stoics, they all commited suicide in an act of rebellion against not only Hod but life itself.
      You’d be wise to actually know the content of what Ryan is putting out. Compared to the religions you mock. But it’s all already stated in our holy books, not just the Bible, and Quran, but also the Mahabharata, the Gita, and Buddhist books, these religions are called our history books. You being a complete idiot probably don’t even know the definition or origin of the word religion, religion comes from the Greek word, to bind, to latch onto, we as goes our religions bind and latch onto the teachings of our Gods, you who are athiest all reap the same, suicide or death by homicide because you break the simple statutes and commandments of life given in the book of life’s laws.
      Ryan is a systematic strategist, this is why he appeals to people in sports and military, for Roman’s were strategy makers, mainly for war, and barbarism. A act that is not acceptable in any religion because you are already planning on hurting another life by being a strategic idiot of anti-God. God is life, creates life and judges what life is exceptable or not.
      You’re just dust in the wind, and without a soul connected to the spirit world, you’re a talking bobble head that will reap the same.
      Bible is life.

      You miss the point of the Stoic Philosophy bro.
      You're talking about external things like rent, money etc.
      When in reality, your internal state will determine the outcome of your future...
      If you're willing to commit and delay gratification.

    • @connorstar164
      @connorstar164 9 місяців тому

      @@sevrusthetalisman Is that why Seneca commited suicide? He delayed something called life, we go by seasons, once a season is gone, it’s gone, you cannot wait an entire winter to plant again in summer, you’ll die from starvation.
      How stupid can you be to not know that.
      Seneca says, treat each day as if it’s a separate life. What does that mean? He was bowing out to the day, unwilling to do anything, not wanting to face his adversity, since he had no source of power, he disbelieved in God so had no internal consensus. Now let’s look at a man who believed in God in an exact same situation of adversity.
      King David, who says, Lord, teach me to number my days, so I know how frail I am. Teach me to number my days so I can gain a heart of wisdom.
      -Pslams 90:12-17
      David unlike Seneca was willing to face his day of adversity, even in weakness he pushed on, unlike Seneca who copped out, even after all that bullshit talk of throw me to the wolves and he’ll come back leading the pack, even after that statement he states even to live takes an act of courage, he was in a suicidal state, a man of non faith because he chose to disbelieve in God.
      Seneca was told by Nero to commit suicide, and he did, where was his Witt’s, where was his wisdom, where was anything to do with life? He was a bitch, to give in to someone else’s wants, what happened to his stoicism? That proves to be stoic is to be a bitch. Now let’s look at another prophet from the Bible who faced literally the exact situation of facing a tyrant ruler, Daniel, who Nebacanazzer, Daniel confronted the king, just like Seneca confronted Nero, and Daniel with the faith of God instructing him, told Nebacanezzer his reign was over as a cruel king, Nebacanaezzer ordered to kill Daniel, threw him in the firey furnace with his 3 friends, because Daniel did what God asked him, God send is angel to protect him in the fire, the king tried many ways to kill Daniel even throwing him to the lions, but because of the faith of God Yahweh, his willpower was unbending, unlike Seneca who boasted and pratted of himself, stating the gods couldn’t take his free will, and yet he was so weak minded he bowed out to a human, and took his own life on the accord of Nero, stoics talk about facing adversity, but when they did, they bowed out.
      Not the men of faith who had a source of power to pray to, to worship who gives back 10 fold what you give him. a relationship with God makes a man unconquerable, this is why David never lost a battle, while rulers even as rich and powerful as Nero, was so vain with fornication and wickedness, once sinful nature took a hold of him it consumed him, even Nero committed suicide.
      Those are the people you follow? You do know that stoics contended with Paul the apostle right? Paul did not have the iota of wisdom as king Solomon who Paul knew, and yet Paul converted the stoics into Christianity, if the stoics ditched their own philoshies why would we follow them? They didn’t have logic they had broken logic, there is no internal world, and external world, there is only the world, either you’re going to face it or not, stoics didn’t face it, majority of them commited suicide because they couldn’t cope with problems they faced, unlike Jews like David who had wise counsel and asked God for answers. Which he provided in the statutes and commandments given to all the prophets Moses, Abraham, Noah, David, Solomon, Isiah, Daniel, Eziekiel, and others all the way to Jesus and even prophet Muhammad. You know nothing of what you are talking about. To be a stoic is to be a bitch. The Roman’s only knew how to take things by force not wisdom, this is why in the book of acts when Paul debates the stoics and epicureans, he tells them even the wisest of men’s wisdom is foolishness to God, this is why they ditched stoicism and followed him, this is why there are 500,000 churches in Europe today and not even 1,000 schools of stoicism in Europe where people practice it, because it doesn’t work. Christianity works and why there is 2 billion followers, not even 1 million people follow stoicism, because it doesn’t lead to life, religion derives from the Greek word to bind, to latch onto, to bind yourself to life, to higher powers and to God, David says anyone who says there is no God is a damn fool. Rightly so.
      How about you go learn the facts before you back something you know nothing of.
