I once saw a tiktok from a Jewish college student who was pro Israel and anti-Palestine about how he feels unsafe in his college and one of his classmates asked him why and he said its because he is afraid he is being shamed for his views and his classmate said that's exactly the point of the protest..what's happening in Gaza is inhumane and barabric and what privileged students think is anti semintism is just not what it is..their protest goal is not to hurt pro Israel anti palestine people but to shame them...shame them enough to make them think what they believe is wrong and when people who think like this are shown the mirror, they often dont like it and feel like they are attacked

I think a big reason TikTok has so much pro Palestine content is because other social media platforms will not allow a lot of it to be published. For example anytime I try to share something pro Palestine to my instagram story it is always removed within minutes by Instagram.

A few days back, I went to a big anti-genocide protest and suddenly a drunk drifter started cursing the Palestinians and the rest of the participants. I was completely confused, scared and angry, but the organizers had reminded us time and again to not engage with such people because their goal is to incite violence and then play victim. The way that person looked, it seemed as if he was paid to do what he was doing. Since the mainstream media always gives one-sided point-of-view, so every wrong action of those protesting against the genocide is amplified while every action of those for the genocide is minimized.

Forget the fancy words like antisemitism, sexism, racism, etc. They have been misused too often.
If you criticize something that can be interpreted as anti-social BEHAVIOR, your criticism is legit.
If you criticize someone for something they have no control over, like ethnicity, genes, citizenship, gender then its highly questionable.
