I Had HIGH Expectations for These Gauntlets...

Designing hand protection for HEMA (historical European Martial Arts) practice has always been challenging. How do you make gloves that protect against sword hits in sparring without making them restrict range of motion and manual dexterity too much?
Crossguard's answer was something that the Dark Knight might have come up with to fight crime. Easily the most badass looking gauntlets I've had, and also the most complex design by far.
