They could get away with releasing an OLED 90Hz or 120Hz version for a higher price, would be an amazing budget S22 Ultra alternative for a third of the price for casual note takers.
That's the difference. They made it for the budget buyers with a Dimensity 700 chipset. A much better option.
Been using it a few days phone is surprisingly fluid. Camera not that good but I rarely take photos. Decent enough though

been using Samsung notes now with s21 ultra and got used of how fluid the pen is.....you can tell the latency of the pen on this device but its a good competitor and option ....i think every smart phone should be stylus capable or comes with it!!!! that would be awesome!!!

Coming from an iPhone it's definitely nothing compared, but for $250 and it comes with 128gb of storage its a pretty good phone
I just received one of these it's pretty snappy pictures are nice. 4 the money I think it's a really great phone
WOW!! I like very much this TCL Stylus 5G, It has a better look AI than realme which is sad to hear. I would love to see the TCL Stylus+ 5G come out with a better processor and camera.
This was so well done. I love the beefier stylus. Not sure I'm willing to lose the cleanliness and minimalism of the moto phones to get this though. C'mon moto. Give us a better stylus.

I wanted to get this phone so bad but they where out of stock i was disappointed but i went with a tcl 30 xe 5 g i ahve had it for five days now and i am loving it so far it's pretty fast for the most part the screen is pretty big and clear it came with 64 gigs amd i put a 128 gig micro sd card

Thinking about buying one for my secondary line since I like the TCL's my main phone is a TCL XE 30 which I like this model as well it's fast as doesn't lag. TCL is probably the only best 5G phone out there.

I'm actually very impressed with this new TCL Stylus. It pretty much offers the value Motorola used to give us. For $250 this is an excellent overall value. I just got the OnePlus n20 and for $282 it's also a great value phone. It has an awesome AMOLED display, a unique build quality, fast charging, great battery life and a charger included in the box. These budget to mid range phones are getting really good.
They have to be good - the competition is stiff! Motorola definitely got lazy this year & last, and I think TCL has a serious opportunity to snag some of their G Stylus customers this year for sure
@@TechDaily that's true the competition is stiff with LG gone now in the budget to mid range area. Motorola has definitely gotten lazy and then upped their prices while taking things away. I really hope TCL can learn from Motorola's mistakes and keep making reasonably priced budget phones that give us consumers value. Because phones like this and the n20 proves you don't have to buy $1000 phones in order to have a great smartphone.

@@preston8872 if you don't mind being on T-Mobile I'd highly suggest the OnePlus n20 5g. It's an awesome phone and the one I'm using right now. But out of the list would be the moto g stylus 5g. Another great option is the BLU f91 5g. Both are under $300 and value phones that work well
I just got the TCL Stylus 5g! I mean just an hour again so it's still downloading apps and so on.
I wasn't a T-mobile customer so because I switched I get a bill credit equal to the cost of the phone over 24 months. So free basically. I figure it's a good way to try a stylus phone, this is my 1st.
So far I really like the display and that it has a wide angle camera instead of a macro lens like other budget phones.

My last 2 phones were Samsung and I was very disappointed with both, one of which overheated (2 phones ago) and died, along with all my contacts and pics.

So I was debating between the Samsung Galaxy A32 5g or one of the Samsung Galaxy A13's or Motorola G Power 2021 or Motorola G Power 2022 or Motorola G stylus 5g or Motorola G stylus 2022? or S7 or maybe something. As I'm on a budget and don't wanna spend that much money . or what phone do u recommend to me that isn't to much money?
All of those are great options and you can't go wrong any of them. Though, I would recommend the A32 5g, Moto G Power 2021 or G stylus 5g as your best bets. They have more powerful processors and should remain smooth and easy to use for a some years.
One noteworthy element in this smartphone is the fact that TCL is offering a good stylus support within an accessible price and they chose a good Mediatek 5G processor as well.

Samsung phones may have a better Stylus but they lack a Micro SD Card slot, home screen looping like their older phones. Does this phone have FM Radio?
To be honest, I've been using a Note 9 for a few years and now that I've seen how this phone is I'm honest thinking of getting this phone.
Trust me from a Note 9 to this will be disappointing..

Was really looking forward to giving one a shot but being a carrier exclusive that's off the table, too late after the fact. Actually despise OEM's who do this but imo it's hurting them more than me. Oh well maybe next time.

@@preston8872 Tough question to answer not knowing what variant each device is (storage/ram), and what you'd be paying for each.
But based off support the Samsung A32 5G wins hands down getting 4-years of security updates and likely 2-3 OS upgrades.
Based solely on device itself disregarding price/support altogether. Personally would choose Moto G Stylus 5G (2022) 256/8 variant as feel, w/o a doubt, it'd be the funnest to own out of the bunch.
Would this be a good budget phone with a decent camera? I need a camera that can focus quickly and scan barcodes for work but at a budget price.

Not bad if u consider the price…a stylus in budget…but still… these smart phones brands should ignore providing 2mp macro or 2mp depth sensor…these are useless… rather they should focus on high megapixel ultrawide or giving better display…or optimising the camera sensor…you may agree to my point… what do you say?

I was excited about this phone til you got to the battery! Im not a heavy user but I like a bigger battery in case of emergencies.
Yeah, I’m surprised by the capacity here. The phone is fairly thin actually, so I wouldn’t have minded a bit thicker build with a 5000mah

Me too! But I think all other features such as Mediatek dimensity 700 chip, the pen, camera section, etc.
I use a TCL Stylus 5G phone and have no complaints. My favorite features are the big 6:8" screen, the dual-firing stereo speakers, plenty of storage space and, of course, the stylus--a handy feature for those who have fat fingers. And, of course, let us not forget the 5G coverage.I have had trouble installing the latest system update. I am looking forward to their next phone model!

Those viewing angles aren't great, such is life for LCD though. 2 hours wait for full charge from empty is a lifetime.
2 hours yikes my moto g stylus 4g 2020 takes 40 min to full.
You crazy asf your tcl might take 2-3hrs to charge but clearly your rapid charger doesnt work anymore. From 1% on my in like 15mins my phone is at 25% and be at almost 100% within the hour. Stop lying
