My buddy has the TCL for over 6 months now there is a big difference in responsiveness and speed compared to my 5g stylus 2022. Once the phone is loaded with pictures, videos, apps, texts , emails, it starts slowing down when the Moto has not
How do you consider it significantly more expensive when at t-mo they're within $30 of each other or so? Full unlocked pricing is irrelevant when the TCL can literally only be bought from a carrier.
I got the TCL , don't care how much more specked out Motorola stylus is, they always slow down regardless and act buggy . I'd been with Motorola since the Droid Bionic, it never fails with their phones ! I would never buy a low or high end Motorola phone .

I have to be honest wade I have the moto g stylus 5g 2022 TMobile. 6 gig ram variant. 120 hrz snapdragon 695 . Moto is better than tcl without a doubt and your 8 gig version isn't different from T-Mobile except 2 gigs more ram . Tcl stylus isn't in moto league. Come on man
I love my motorola. They have come along way. I personally have 0 complaints about my Motorola. I'm also happy they made the stylus 5g contactless payment compatible finally. I use tap to pay almost everyday. One of the best additions. I think them adding a free 256gb card. No phone now s days comes with that. NONE! The stylus works decent but I truthfully don't really use it besides at work sometimes when I'm in a meeting and forgot my notepad. Overall. This phone is great for it's price. And great overall to use. I have an unlocked version and it's great!
Having had three moto g stylus variants, I can say I like moto. But picked the tcl about a week ago. On metro PCS it was $188.00 out the door. Not bad. However, I love this phone. If you want a new phone with a stylus, but can't justify a grand or more, here you go. Don't miss out
The reason why the retail pricing on the Motorola 5G stylus is more expensive on Amazon is because that model has 8 GB of RAM versus the one on T-Mobile which only gives you 6 GB of RAM
Why is there seemingly never a measure of sensitivity on the cell system for travelers in fringe areas? After all, these are phones and if a handset is better or worse at connection to towers that will impact conversation and data flow for digital apps like navigators. I noticed in my years of handsets apparently better and worse back in 3G and 4G systems from different OEMs and in models from same vendor. There seems no rating on reception or transmission or even points for or against what frequency capability means.

Just a note here on the Moto g stylus 5g 2022. Turn the 120 refresh rate to always on. It'll take a little more battery but it's not that noticable. It helps.

I got the Motorola g stylus 2022 at cricket for free I did switch over from boost mobile but so far it's a great phone I have only had it a few days it's not a 5 g phone but 4 g speeds are pretty fast I honestly don't do much on a cellphone I check emails calls and texts watch slot of UA-cam videos and play games I also got a glass screen protector no complaints on the Motorola

Thanks for the comparison! For my needs, and disregarding price, I'd choose the TCL Stylus 5G without a doubt as it seems like such a refresh to Motorola's "same old" over past couple of years. In terms of price Motorola is asking way too much considering their present support barely rivals (if at all) my 2020 G Stylus that we paid less than half the price for. Sure TCL is likely not much better in terms of support yet a far easier pill to swallow at their price point. In my region we're only being offered the 128/4 variant G Stylus 5G (2022) with pricing likely in the neighborhood of $550 (if not more), that's downright criminal imo.
It certainly is . I love this device. Moto wouldn't connect to my umidigi uwatch S3. And when it did , data didn't update in the app. But this TCL is has no problems . Get it you'll love it
I bought my 2020 Moto G Stylus last year for $207 off of Motorola's website. I get emails from them all the time showing what is on sale. The phone is also unlocked.
Despite the stylus features on it, Moto G Stylus 5g is an insane good phone. It almost never lags, battery is very strong. But I keep thinking of the stylus features. It said on the Moto manual that the stylus also worked as a mic. But I can't find how to turn the stylus into an actual microphone.

Just got the TCL Stylus 5G and for the $ it's incredible. I had the Moto Stylus 5G 2021 before it and it was a solid phone. The TCL latency is quite a bit better, and the size is way easier to deal with. Thinner and it's taller making it more compact to the one hand. Stereo speakers are a major plus! The camera on the TCL is solid, better than I thought it would be for the price. I had many Samsung Notes before and this is definitely the poor man's galaxy note. Love that the finger print aka power button and volume rocker are on the same side. Unlike the Moto the rocker is in a perfect spot to reach! I do miss the Moto gestures for sure, but the TCL is so more impressive in so many more categories than the Moto. For the price the TCL is a huge deal!

someone needs to close the gap between the TCL and S22 Ultra. 250 vs 1000 . Like even close to a 699 mark with a decent processor (doesnt have to be recent) , 12gb of ram and 60 Hz screen (who the heck needs 120 on their phone.. Like we have 240hz monitors for our PCs for actual gaming)
Boost Mobile Moto G Stylus 5G 2022 for $9.99 for new customers purchased last week as a main phone to have my Samsung Galaxy A13 5G be my backup. So far I can't complain, as with all my phones turning off unnecessary background runs and other minor tweaks makes the phone perform even that much better. I can't state anything about the TCL but I would still pick Motorola.
You guys should really ask yourselves if 5G is worth it to you. In my area, its simply NOT faster than 4G. I need BARS, not speed. If you agree you dont NEED 5G, I suggest getting a remanufactured Moto G Power 2020, or Moto Stylus 2020... very good 4G phones.. the Power is a beast for battery life but Stylus is a solid phone.. just never used the stylus the 2 years I had one.

The form factor of tcls stylus feels very similar to the older s pens from older Samsung note phones but motos.stylus feels way more durable and the extra length of the motos pen is better for me and anyone else who has larger hands

There is! It just isn't "new" for 2022. But tbh, a used Note 10 Lite, regular Note 10 or Note 20 right now would be the best stylus option.

The form factor of tcls stylus feels very similar to the older s pens from older Samsung note phones but motos.stylus feels way more durable and the extra length of the motos pen is better for me and anyone else who has larger hands
I would go for the Motorola for its clean Android UI and better cameras. The build quality and display are excellent too.

@@preston8872 poco M4 pro 5g or poco X3 pro if you are into value for money specswise and if you are okay with moto then Motorola g31.If you can increase your budget a bit then you can go for poco X4 pro,OnePlus Nord ce 2 or samsung m32.All of them are good for their price.

There is no doubt that the TCL stylus 5G has the better processor support with the Dimensity 700 processor.
I am not a fan of Snapdragon, so I would go for the Mediatek-powered TCL Stylus 5g smartphone.

@@preston8872 really? I didnt know. Chinesse phones are good&cheap. Motorola is also chinesse, Nokia the same. I dont like entry level Samsung. Only if you can buy , maybe second-hand, an A51 5G, or A 52 5g.
